    I'm loving these videos, I've been telling myself to start a stitching journal for ages and you've got me started! Working on my own "lesson 1" while I watch you stitching "lesson 2"....waving hello from Canada and thank you again!

      Hi Donna, thank you so much for your lovely words, I’m so glad you’re enjoying the ‘lessons’ - if you’re over on Facebook and fancy jointing the group, it would be great to welcome you over there too, where you can share your work and be inspired by others - but no pressure. A big wave from here in England 😊

    Besides mediation how best can we utilise this art in our daily life, so that others can benefit too.

    • @DottyBeeVintage
      @DottyBeeVintage  6 месяцев назад

      For me, the process of creating and stitching is the meditation, my small pieces are then being placed in a stitch journal so that I can look back and see not only my year’s work, but how much progress I’ve made, how I use stitches and fabrics in different ways and how my work is evolving. Making my videos and sharing what I’m doing to other likeminded people is also so rewarding and I hope in return, the people who watch my videos, are getting something from them - hopefully, the inspiration to do their own stitching. If you’re asking what exactly to do with the pieces you create, then you could always gift them - frame a piece or attach to a greetings card, stitch onto a bag or piece of clothing. Share your love of stitching with others - gift a little starter pack of needle, thread and fabric to get someone started. Hope this answers your question 🌸

    What would you do with these blocks beside a.quilt journal can they be made bigger

    • @DottyBeeVintage
      @DottyBeeVintage  9 месяцев назад +2

      Hi Gwen, yes, you could definitely create a bigger piece to make a wall hanging or picture or journal cover - or you could go smaller to make perhaps a bookmark. The size I’ve made is perfect to attach to a blank greetings card to gift to someone special 🌸

    Hi Sally, what do you do with the edge's?. Sorry just a newbie to slow stitch!!. Not done it yet!.
    Hugs Karen

    • @DottyBeeVintage
      @DottyBeeVintage  9 месяцев назад +2

      Hi Karen, I don’t mind the raw edges, so I’m not going to do any thing to it, but you could turn the edges over and create a little hem if you prefer. As I go through the series, I might address this and show a couple of ways to edge. Thanks for your question 🌸
