Heck of a good job bro. Just to let you know, if it is an electric throttle body, you can move the butterfly in it if it's off the vehicle. If you move that butterfly while it's on the vehicle then you have to reset it. Also, if the gasket is not damaged you can still use it. Also, you should unhook the negative battery cable first before you do anything.
@@NoneMechanic101 hi, the red light on again, 😔. Thanks for answer 👍 ruclips.net/video/4a1_GaRrdL0/видео.html In this video you can see the problem. Thanks
Thanks! I just had my throttle body serviced on my 08 Dodge Charger and I don’t think it was recalibrated so that lightning bolt light came on. I’m gonna try your method see if that works. I will update my comment if it works. Thanks again!
Warning people those aftermarket throttle body’s they sale online like Amazon don’t work…. Had to go to the Dealer which is Dodge to buy the correct throttle body. $500 for the right throttle body. Amazon one cost me $80 did not work right.
Great video man, I went to auto tech school and learned better with your video than I did in class!
Thanks

I learned the hard way with the negative battery being unhooked but that’s the process of practice makes perfect
So you don’t have to recalibrate it if you unbolt the throttle if it’s electric once you disconnect the negative charge.
i miss the days of a throttle cable... great info my friend!
You and me both!
Good shit! Just some advice this, this also works on Chryslers with 2.7s. Add that to the title so this video gets out. This is a very common issue ✌🏿
Thank you!

Alcalde what happened?
@@spo0ofer502 My car is running fine now . :)
Is it okay to clean the throttle body and not put a new gasket on . Say if it’s your only car and you forgot to get the gasket
I myself if removed the throttle I would replace the gasket.
Can I use the reset procedure for a 2010?
Sorry I’m not sure

Thanks ! Great help
You're Welcome👍
Don't you have to unhook the negative battery cable first?
Yes disconnect the negative battery cable first.
you need 1 of those magnetic bowls that you throw your bolts in so you don't lose them.
I have one. I always forget to use it.
Where is the idle air control valve on this vehicle?
I'm not sure. Sold the car
