I don't think she came to pick him up, unless she doesn't age, because she looks exactly the same as she did 13 years ago. Maybe her strict diet of sunlight keeps her in tip-top bikini shape forever, I don't know. Didn't work that way for The End, though. But I think he's bleeding out and half-dreaming or hallucinating. You see how everything gets really bright, too, which I interpret as either the "bright light" people see when their brains are shutting down, or a slow-motion rendering of his final thoughts as the self-destruct goes off.
Looking back 5 and a half years later, there was so much that this game could’ve offered, I mean think about it, it would’ve been one of the greatest games of all times of the 2010s. And when I say this, here is what I mean: More MGO content: MGS 3 Health stamina system: a limit as to how much you can run, ability to eat stamina, (applying to all living things in the game, your character, buddies, Different maps to chose from, Colombia, Nicaragua, Soviet Russia, USA (we could’ve seen a behind the scenes of solid snake living in the states, being able to visit soldiers in certain combat deployment places. The ability to train your soldiers in mother base physically, assigning certain soldiers to train certain soldiers while seeing the soldiers train certain soldiers in REAL TIME More rooms added to mother base, being able to customize certain rooms in mother base, seeing your captured enemies being interrogated in real time Interacting with villagers in all maps, seeing the Arabs fight with the Soviet’s m God I could name so much more ideas that this game could’ve had. MGSV is truly a masterpiece, but it could’ve been MORE than what it was. Man so much wasted potential.
I love that the music came out from his walkman. I overall just love that idea that he was a massive music enjoyer that was listening to music on missions, on mother base and in the helicopters.
The last mission in TPP should've been an older venom in the future, surrounded by the dead soldiers of outer heaven facing off against an impossibly scripted fight against Solid Snake.
@@rafiqdan Most likely just cut back to 84. If we look at the timeline, Skull Face dying is that last thing that happens at the time frame TPP takes place.
Imma say what i saw in another comment, after you choosen a loadout and the misson started the game shouldve thrown you into a scene that started with Venom going in normally but then once youre almost to the last doorway before you meet up with Solid it should switch point of views so youd have to kill Venom while hes using your weaponry that you yourself had picked out earlier. (I myself dont know all the lore from the earlier games so im not sure if something like that would be possible but i genuinely think itd be one of the best ways to bring it all back around to when Solid takes out Venom)
Stripped of the woman who loved him, his identity, his future, having to kill his own comrades, living a life of not his own losing evrything in the end and still fulfilling his bosses wishes to his demise, while constantly experiencing that one feeling that the players felt after the ending... ...the phantom pain.
@@TheMisterGuy love wasn’t a thing true, hell not even Eva got to the point of real romance with Naked Snake. She mostly was in it for the mission. But when people ask you for the love interest you usually say Quiet. As it’s seen a bit. But other than that yeah, not really GF material for Venom.
Yeah! What you said is actually made by another who was using gmod to convey his perspective on how TPP should end, fighting Solid Snake for one last time.
Shas'O Swoll an Older Venom, who has done what he knew would have killed him or led to his death, He Removed his Shrapnel Horn, As is in-game Venom Snake was Vulnerable to Explosives it blurred his Vision. In Metal Gear the best and possibly only way to kill Big Boss is with Remote Controlled Explosives. Does it make sense now? How a Rookie Solid defeated an Aged Veteran like Venom? Venom gave Solid a Handicap by Surgically Removing his Horn. (MGSV Credits Scene Reference) It isn't shown that he did that, but he very likely removed it. He was a Paramedic before he became Big Boss's Double. For him That self-surgery would have been no issue.
Venom is the best out of all of the snakes in my eyes. Not because he's the strongest or deadliest. It's because he chose to give his life for a legacy that wasn't his own. He chose to treat diamond dogs and his fellow brethren like his own when big boss didn't. He chose to fill in for the title of a legend when he would never be remembered. Here's to you venom, a true but hidden legend.
i think that was the whole purpose of venom being created and keeping the real big boss safe and create his own thing, venom didnt disagree with it even after he know what they done to him.....i think he was honored to be big boss double
Truth is the legend of Big Boss was always a Legend of Two Men as One. Also the the Legend of Big Boss was one big PR move, one huge meme that they used.

Men like Venom had no future, akin to Solid and Liquid. As Psycho Mantis once said to Solid, "You're the same as us. We have no past, no future. We live in the moment."
It's not really about loyalty.. he's FORCED into the role of Big Boss. If he told anyone about it, people would think that he is insane so he literally has no choice in the matter that's why he's so angry when he hears Big Boss's audio tape

I think, the problem is, Venom is not the Big Boss, and everyone treat him like BB. Even if he is good at fighting, he is not talkative, I think because even if he is under hypnosis or something to think he is Big Boss, he don't know how to behave like him.
Honestly, Solid beating Venom perfectly encapsulates the themes and ideals of MGS3. The Boss knew that soldiers were merely political tools, nothing more than expendable bodies for politicians and warmongers to toss at each other. Venom Snake _embodies_ this: even when he learned he had his past _and_ future robbed and forced to be Big Boss' phantom, he still did his best to play the role and help build a nation of soldiers, even dying at the end for the sake of soldiers without borders. *_Solid Snake says "screw you" to that._* Unlike Venom or even Big Boss, Solid understood the deeper meaning of The Boss' will without even knowing the woman; to pursue a world where _PEOPLE,_ not soldiers, live without boundaries. As much of a legendary soldier she was, The Boss _always_ fought and acted for peace - yes, she was a soldier, but one who gave her life in an attempt to unite the world and _AVOID_ global catastrophe. While Big Boss' and Venom Snake's goal of creating a nation for soldiers unbound by cultural limits seems admirable, they still fought to spread violence and weaponry and stole uncountable human lives, something that The Boss wouldn't approve of. Furthermore, MGS1 and MGS2's entire themes _REVOLVE_ around the ideal of being your own person; that people don't need to be defined by their genetics or the ideas shoved on them by others. Whereas Big Boss enforces that Venom now carries his legacy and persona, Solid Snake _implores_ Raiden to be his own man and determine who he should be rather than live up to someone else's legend - which is Venom dies bloody while Raiden continues to fight another day. Solid Snake, more than any other Snake, embodies and carries on The Boss' will to a tee. While still a legendary soldier, Solid Snake nonetheless _ALWAYS_ fought to take down huge weapon advancements and secure peace for millions of civillian strangers, exactly what The Boss would've done. Venom did carry The Boss' loyalty, but he was loyal to a land of bloodshed and killing which The Boss was strongly _against,_ as opposed to Solid Snake's even greater loyalty to an ideal of peace and freedom. Really, Solid Snake's final fights with Venom Snake and Big Boss were the final contests between who was the better soldier and the better suited to carrying The Boss' will. As we saw, Solid Snake emerged as the true snake eater, bringing The Boss' will out of merely a dream.
Solid was nothing more than a puppet of the Patriots. There isn't any deep mumbo jumbo to justify his actions, since he mostly fought and killed for the pleasure of it up to MGS1, and we find out he's the villain at the end of MGS4.
Also kudos on this explanation. However, just one thing. Venom had a clear if not the clearest understanding of The Boss’ will. The boss wanted a peaceful world without nuclear deterrent. Venom actually achieved this by MG1. Venom also had a clear understanding of the people who served under him. Knowing that they were not simply assets as BB knew them as. It is likely that Venom’s and Solid’s ideological understanding of the boss mirrored in Solid’s later years. Early on, Solid was ‘green’ and only faithful to the mission and country. This after many missions and being shit on constantly then changed his perspective of control and being used a puppet for government bodies to abuse. Unfortunately, I truly believe that Venom had all the best intentions of Big Boss’s plan. But eventually like all loose ends they must be tidied up. Sad really, considering the pain and anguish that Venom had to endure to live someone else’s legacy.
I dont think idolizing, deifying and making a god of the boss is the way to go, much like making a god out of bb. The boss' ideology can be summed up as "war bad". The conflicts that go on throughout the entire series are all born out of how to achieve that. She had no real plan. Just war bad. Go play her cutscenes in mgs3 if you dont believe me lol. She is not as deep as people think she is.
@@huleyn135 good comment. A world free from war could only be achieved by the hands of God himself, whether you believe him or not. Venom and Kaz on the other hand were more humble and just sought to keep equilibrium of power among nations.
Venom actually got the pride of a soldier that Big Boss was denied - he fought for something that he wholly believed in and got to die for it before it had the chance to crumble. He won his war even if he lost the battle with Solid.
I just shed the most manliest tear ever ... “The name of big boss is something you don’t have to bare, thank you and goodbye” “it’s been a pleasure Ishmael...no big boss” 😢😢😢
Nicola and Bart, a song about the wrongful execution of two Italian Immigrants. Such a fitting song. The wrongful death of a man who fought for the dream of another man and through that, added the story to Big Boss and not himself. But yet, the Boss will remember him. And with Big Boss remembering Venom Snake, he is saying "Here's to you, my friend. Thank you." Nothing is better than a thank you from the Boss himself. Here's to you, Venom. The man who fought and added to another man's story, not his own. The ultimate sacrafice. That agony is your triumph.
@@ryanbarrie9143 he was forced to add to big boss's legacy. There is no proof of venom's consent to what they did to him and there is certainly no proof that says he still obeyed big boss after all the shit that happened to him because of naked snake.
Venom Snake is my favourite Snake, out of all the Snakes he's pretty much the perfect soldier, out of all the Snakes there's Big Boss the Warrior, Solidus the philosopher of the Snakes, Liquid the revolutionary with the inferiority complex (who is also an amazing pilot, leader, and Soldier as well), and Solid Snake who comes close to being the perfect soldier but even he himself breaks away from the US government and military and forms his own group with Otacon. Venom "Punished" Snake is the perfect soldier among all the Snakes, and probably embodies The Bosses ideology that Soldiers are tools. Except Venom isn't a tool of a country or ideology, instead he follows the orders of Big Boss himself, Big Boss ordered Venom to take his place and he did exactly what he was told with no complaints. It was his mission to be Big Bosses phantom and he didn't care about his lost identity and while sure he did get angry momentarily when he shattered the mirror he quickly says "ok Boss" in his head and smirks. And while he was defeated by Solid Snake in Outer Heaven I doubt he regretted his choices in his final moments before the explosion, I can fully believe that Venom Snake truly would die for Big Boss the way Big Boss himself once stated he'd die for his country, like on here he wasn’t angry or even sad he did his duty as Big Bosses Phantom and #1 Soldier. And besides all that Venom Snake was himself an amazing Snake, he was a father to his men, when Morale is low he corrects their behaviour by showing the Soldier who pulled a knife what it meant to draw a weapon on an ally, and in the end instead of tossing them off the rig, or throwing them in the Brig he tells them their CQC is sloppy and he'd give them a one on two lesson. He ignores his mission and takes in Child Soldiers and teaches them things beyond warfare and treats then as equals, and was kind enough to take in Quiet despite the fact she'd just tried to kill him. The man exuded the same aura as Big Boss, he was a man his men would die for, even after everyone learns his identity as Big Bosses phantom no one treats him with any less respect. And the fact that Venom prior to the explosion was a soldier so skilled and respected by Big Boss that he named him his personal Medic, someone who could be trusted to keep Big Boss alive if he were ever injured on the battlefield, and Big Boss himself would even say that Venom was "always the best man we had" imagine being so skilled that Big Boss himself would compliment you in that way, not to mention he was trusted with the knowledge that Paz was alive. Honestly I could go on forever because I just love Venom Snake that goddamn much, he’s my favourite Snake and was a true Leader, and an excellent Soldier.
@@sudanemamimikiki1527 No, he still had elements of his original personality. Plus, a number of Big Boss' implanted memories were tampered with, as shown in Ground Zeroes.
@@Jupiter__001_ I don't entirely agree with the statement that anything Venom Snake did would have been what Big Boss would have done, by this point Big Boss' morals and ethics has degraded to the point he actively sought the continuation of war he wanted a world at perpetual war so soldiers had reason and wanted Outer Heaven to be a nation of soldiers. He even did exactly what the Patriots did and fucked with a man's (Ahab/Venom Snake) life to better his cause after Big Boss had left the Patriots because they harvested his DNA and cloned him in the Les Infantes Terribles program, Big Boss was disgusted by the Patriots fucking with lives and he did the very same thing to his medic. Big Boss okayed the use of Child Soldiers in Outer Heaven while Venom Snake would take them in and educate them and try and better their lives, give them something besides war. Despite Venom Snake being a mental doppelganger of Big Boss he was still a different person when compared to Big Boss, just like Liquid Ocelot wasn't the same as Liquid Snake.
Whoever did the impression of Kiefer Sutherland, major kudos. That was spot on. The impressionist of Richard Doyle wasn't as perfect, but granted, he wouldn't be as gravelly now as he was in MGS4.
Masterpiece. At the end, I Really preferred Venom to Big Boss, Venom really interpretated the motto "loyalty to the end". Even if my favourite Snake will always be Solid Snake
@@user-ko3sd9qj2hThe Boss'last apprentice who betrayed her and her teachings, selling his own men. I love almost all characters equally. But Solid is my favorite, because he was the only one to understand The Boss' will, without even knowing her. The Boss' will was about sacrifice and loyalty. Big Boss at the end sold his very comrades and brothers in arms to obtain his purpose. Solid would have never done that. He would have died for them, on the contrary . He sacrificed himself and he never had anything in return, he didn't even ask anything. He never wanted to be "a Boss". This is why Solid Snake is the Bigger Boss. Not a case if the psycho Snake, Liquid, had just the dominant genes of Big Boss. It means that Big Boss' dominant character is the bad one.
@@JJShalashaska Venom was just like The Boss and Solid if you think about it. He actually took out all the nuclear heads wich is something canon and stated in the first MG. Also he was loyal to Big Boss to the very end even tho he finded out that person stole his life, his identity and forced him go through a path of destruction and slaughter. In the end, a memorial to Venom was made along side The Boss as we can see in MGS4, with the words "A true hero, for ever loyal to the flames of war, rest in Outer Heaven now".
Actually he talks a lot out of screen, the tapes they gave you after every mission has a lot content and you can relate more with this big boss, I recommend to listen all of them!
@@israelmolina9361 In the cutscenes yes, he barely talks, but the tapes are so interesting and it really feel like Kiefer always meant to be the voice of big boss.
God, this hurts. Venom is arguably more tragic than Big Boss. Manipulated into loyalty so blind he accepted having his own future and legacy stolen from him. Even to the bitter end he stays loyal to Big Boss and treats him with respect, meanwhile (in my opinion fittingly, even if its a fan interpretation) Big Boss doesn't even shed a tear or show any remorse. Even when Big Boss was killed for his actions, his legacy carried on through his Genes (Solid, Liquid and Solidus) and his memes (remembered as the greatest soldier of all time). Venom snake had all of that stolen from him. He was also arguably the lesser evil of the two, given his vastly different treatment of child soliders. In the end, the most tragic is not the man who is remembered for his misdeeds. It is the man who, despite his great actions, is not remembered at all.
You can hear in the Truth tapes that Big Boss was pretty much againt using Venom as his phantom, but besides having no other choice if he wanted to achieve his dream and take revenge on Skull Face, Ocelot also persuaded Boss that Venom was necessary. Besides, Big Boss considered Venom his best soldier, and we know how much Boss cared for those under his command. It might not have been showed, but I'm certain Boss cared for Venom and felt his death with sorrow, despite the advantage that brought him, as the world and the Patriots would think Big Boss was dead, and so he would be able to act more freely.
What an absolute unit. Man could only be taken down with rockets and went out like The Boss, a hero he never actually met. Meanwhile, history's greatest soldier gets taken out by a poorman's flamethrower. And what is it with the two Snakes who never actually met The Boss understanding her more than the one who was raised by her?
But he did meet boss (not as his phantom). He was chosen for the role as someone who was second only to big boss in MSF by Boss’s own admission. He’s also the medic from Ground zero, and it is implied he regains his memory of who he is at the end of the Phantom pain incident, his smirk at the end of the game is the joy that he gets to be the Big Boss with his former commander

To be honest, I strongly suspect that the last act was going to just be a remake of MG1. Which I honestly think would be great. It really seems to me like the original plan was to retcon Outer Heaven into being Mother Base rather than a fortress in South Africa. I mean its already in approximately the same area and by the end of the game, Mother Base is a massive floating city on itself. It just makes so much more sense. It'd be pretty cool if the final mission, you play as Solid Snake, infiltrating the entirety of Mother Base. But this time, you're fighting Diamond Dogs/Outer Heaven. Suddenly, all those upgrades you researched, all those S+ guys you recruited, all those skills and equipment you mastered as Venom, all of that is now used against you. Instead of a bunch of schmucks who can be fooled easily with empty mags and shit. You face a highly professional, elite mercenary army which is intimately familiar with all of your tricks because they've been trained by Big Boss/Venom Snake himself. So they won't be fooled as easily by decoys. They're more resistant to tranquilizers. They're equipped with stronger helmets and gas masks so you can't headshot them or gas them as easily. They're much more likely to call for serious back up if they suspect anything out of the ordinary. And frankly, MG1 and 2 desperately need a remake. They are both so unbelievably critical for the story because they're the two games that deal with what happened to Big Boss. And there is a lot of stuff that needs retconning. Like I would lose my shit if there was an MG2 remake where you, as Solid Snake, infiltrate Tselinoyarsk, basically retracing Big Boss's steps during Operation Snake Eater. The final battle between Big Boss and Snake being a climatic showdown in the same field where Naked Snake killed the Boss.
That’d be an amazing retcon to be honest. People would probably see it as Konami being lazy to reuse Mother Base but the idea of everything you worked to build being a hostile environment that you are about to destroy is too good.
Venom Snake after MGSV became by favorite snake, even he had roughly 20mins of lines in the whole game his character had a lot of heart and I really feel bad for him :(
The saddest part is, Big boss thought Venom was good enough to take on a genetically enhanced clone, Naked had full confidence in the medic who was skilled enough to do everything he could do and more. A medic who had little to no training in espionage and solo operations managed to do so much, he lost it all and still gave everything he had for the legend of big boss. He was one hell of a soldier Also id like to add that in the boss fight with him, Venom still moves insanely fast showing he never lost his touch even at the age of 50
@@eamondevalera3126that makes my point even better, even NS wasn't that good, he was good sure but he wouldn't have kept up with himself at a younger age, Venom was physically crippled, had a horn that could cause brain damage, suffered an injury that left metal shards in his body aswell as put him in a 9 year coma, Venom as just built different I guess
Saves animals, saves soldiers, uses non lethal trough out the game, loses all his friends, kills his soldiers that he's never sent out on missions because forget losing a single one, protects the world from nuclear weapons, gets entire based destroyed, gets gunned down by a clone, dies alone, on a cold floor, while what little he had left gets destroyed, as he fades away, never to be truly known by anyone other than the one who's place he was taking, a guy that used to scream like a cat and maybe a certain girl, long gone.
Think this perfectly illustrates how selfish Ishamel was to Ahab. “You played your role perfectly” confirms it, Venom was always just a tool to further Big Boss’ interests. Venom isn’t the other half of Big Boss, he’s one of Big Boss’ victims
Venom isn’t a victim he’s a loyal soldier. He had no delusions of grandeur he was going to make big bosses dream of outer heaven a reality regardless of what it took. His own life doesn’t even exist, it was destroyed in the 70s by XOF. He is Big Boss, together they work together to make the reality of big boss. Don’t forget in this Big Boss asks him “Are you sure you can’t make it out” He wanted Venom to escape even then. They both had fully expected Solid Snake to fail his mission and then Ishmael would become big boss once again. Venom even says “My mission is finally complete after all these years” meaning this was venoms goal, Outer heaven was going to happen and he could finally go to grave where he knew he always belonged since MSF fell.
Big Boss: Now that I've full understood the boss ideals of peace, I reject them because I'm only looking for endless wars to fight. Also Big Boss: I'll take a brainwashed double and my old buddies to unknowingly fight and die for me while I'm getting the fuck out.
It sad to hear what happened to him for real. Realizing that he was the leader of Outer Haven. Venom Snake is a legend in its own for carrying Big Boss legacy. Dude this is amazing…..they should put this on n the game.
I like to think, this is the canon ending to Venom’s story, it just fits in with the overall story, matches up with the original Metal Gear ending and the potential ending for MGSV.
Kojima has said that Quiet is still out there and alive at the end of mgsv, so I truly would love to believe she watched Venom from the sidelines and took him away from Big Boss and lived their lives together now that they're both thought to be dead
the impressions of David voicing the boss and Sutherland voicing Venom really sells the idea that they're both different people despite Venom being an exact mental copy of the boss
Venom snake: once only known as a decoy. But now in these times he is more than a decoy of big boss. He is the most grandest soldier in big boss's eyes. An amazing bond of two warlords as the greatest rivals of solid Snake.
Metal Gear Solid was the first game I ever played. I was 7 the first time my child mind for touched by metal gear. I took snake' s ideology, his way of thinking, and understanding with me throughout life. 28 yrs old now and he made growing up and seeing life for what it really was alot easier than if I done it alone. Metal Gear was a gift from a talented man and Konami took it all away from me and you. I'm Big Boss, and you are too... No... He's the two of us. Together. Where we are today? We built it. This story - this "legend" - it's ours. We can change the world - and with it, the future. I am you, and you are me. Carry that with you, wherever you go. Thank you... my friend. From here on out, you're Big Boss -Big Boss

You got your ideologies and understanding of life from a fictional 8bit videogame? Very sad... I'd advise to read books on history dating back to ancient empires. It is a lot more intriguing than make believe mercenary fantasies.
you’ve made the true ending to both MGSV and Metal Gear and also whoever voiced venom snake in this must be a damn mimicry master because I can hardly tell the difference
This is just a fantastic job. I really can't describe how I feel now. This actually makes me rest in peace knowing that maybe this what it should have happened in MGS V. And from now on THIS is my real ending for MGS V and you guys should believe it too.
I know this is lame, and they already did a callback to the line, but I kinda wished it would have ended with Quiet saying to Venom: "Kept you waiting, huh?"
Actually, she could indeed talk. Remember Mission 45 onward, where you got her tape. She was already dead, and this is the reason she shows up to take Venom. So yeah, she could and should have said something, which would make Snake realising the mission is over even more deep.
This is an awesome video! Too bad Kojima left, because, there’s still about 11 years of lore between ‘84 and Venom’s death that can be explored. The open world concept in V made the game all the more exciting for me to play.
Last Day In Outer Heaven: a beautiful sendoff to venom snake and a great ending to his story Canon: venom snake reduced to a pair of smoking boots by being shot in the face 4 times by a rocket launcher
Finally a closure. I was expecting something similar to end the SAGA. Not what we got. If we could have a mod on PC that add this as the end. would be perfect.
Truly amazing work. If you could animate the Truth Tapes in the same style you did this, that would be incredible. I thank you. MGSV had some good ideas but the execution was terrible and it left more questions than answers. This exact moment should have been in the game, like many other things that we got in recording form. . . .

Isnt Big boss a hypocrite? He split up with Zero after finding out about the extraction of his DNA and the creation of the twin snakes, but then he is cool to allow Ocelot and Miller simply brainwash a medic to believe he is Big Boss. Big Boss, Ocelot and Miller should be thankful that Venom didn't go absolutely berserk after discovering their lies. Big boss was striving for a world in which soldiers lead successful lives in and out of the battlefield and not be treated as mere tools yet Venom was used a tool "To serve a greater purpose" which sounds like a line the Patriots themselves would use.
This is still one of the best fanimations ever made. The voices were perfect.l, animation, god tier. It's the perfect ending that never was. I really hope that we get a proper modern remake of the first two games. It would reinvigorate the franchise for sure!
I think there's a chance they remake the first metal gear games as so many companies are having successful remakes. Hopefully, one day in the future, if we're fortunate!
When I finished Metal Gear 5 I had a bittersweet sensation. The real Big Boss become a coward that use Ahab "loyalty" to fool him so he could be free somewhere else. Venom Snake turns to be the best character in the whole saga of Metal Gear and Kojima gave us the pleasure to be him. For me, it is unlikely of a new Metal Gear saga. It is over. Thanks for the video. I would have prefer thinking that Venom could escape Outer Heaven and enjoy its last days in a secret location with his wife Quiet.
Big Boss got so popular for a while, fans went all in on "He's a hero! He's fighting the Patriots!" When in reality, Big Boss was a fallen hero who at best used the same, brutal methods of those he fought. Zero and BB were a couple of "old fools" trying to impose their version of "order" on the world. Compared to his heroic "son" Solid Snake, who abandoned fighting for revenge, and instead started fighting for a future he believed in.
In Metal Gear 2:Solid Snake, he takes war orphans just so that he can turn them into soldiers for the next war that is most likely propped up by him or Cypher/Patriots. All because he misunderstood the Boss's dying wish of letting soldiers be. He was broken by war, and had become it's sheppard.

Venom is such a tragic character of the series. He was so loyal to Big Boss he couldnt see that he was just been used and then sacrificed. He died for nothing.
Venom snake and the player are one and the same. Thats why the ending of mgsv is so wholesome, every adventure venom went on you were there, every bond with your companions you made, so in the end when big boss says “im big boss and you are too” he’s speaking to the player. Venom snake’s character is a tragic masterpiece
"It was my pleasure, Ishmael." The pleasure was mine. I couldn't have asked for a finer soldier, or a better man. You deserved better, Ahab. You deserved better than all of us.
That was well done. Made me wish Kojima got to finish MGSV or had a hand in a remake of the original Metal Gear. Sadly we will never know thanks Konami
Holy crap, this has been my headcanon for some time, and I didn't even know about this video. Except in my version Quiet's really there, and she finds Venom pinned under the rubble of the already destroyed Outer Heaven. She lifts up the rubble, gets him out, and nurses him back to health. Then the two walk off into the sunset, their ultimate fates unknown. Maybe cheesy, but I figure Venom's suffered enough.
Quiet is implied to have died by the parasites in V. Her whole reason for being quiet was to not activate hers and she had to speak English to save Venom from the snake bite to get pequod to find him. Her being alive past V doesn’t make sense.
Brainwashed, deceived and used to the end and finally killed. All for the "Boss", poor Ahab he deserved far more than being a nameless shadow doing the dirty work for someone else.
Can you imagine if this is exactly how Phantom Pain ended? I think this would have been absolutely epic. I think it should have gone like this. After the last mission in Phantom Pain, Ahab go's to Africa to take over running Outer Heaven. What would make this extra special, is if you actually play it. You know that Solid Snake is there and you have to confront him. It's a boss fight, but no matter what you do, Solid Snake bests you in every way. When your health reaches zero, a cutscene starts. You have an intense fire fight and hand to hand combat between the two, and of course Solid Snake beats Ahab. It segways into this awesome video and that final mission is called the same as this video, Last Day In Outer Heaven. Ahhh, what an ending that would have been!
The idea still screws with me that the last playable Snake is also the very first final boss of the entire series.

*_Solid Snake says "screw you" to that._*
Unlike Venom or even Big Boss, Solid understood the deeper meaning of The Boss' will without even knowing the woman; to pursue a world where _PEOPLE,_ not soldiers, live without boundaries.
Such an underrated comment... Excellently explained. This bridges the connectivity between MGS3, MGS4 and MGS5

The wrongful death of a man who fought for the dream of another man and through that, added the story to Big Boss and not himself. But yet, the Boss will remember him. And with Big Boss remembering Venom Snake, he is saying "Here's to you, my friend. Thank you."
Nothing is better than a thank you from the Boss himself.

Don't forget, Venom was original MSF. He was part of the dream from the start, and got to take on the starring role

After Venom Snake walked into the fog in the True Ending it should’ve cut to this.
Brilliant
This would be the true chapter 3
It'd be hard to change the gameplay but keep all of the original plot and lore with no discrepancies.
That’d be an amazing retcon to be honest. People would probably see it as Konami being lazy to reuse Mother Base but the idea of everything you worked to build being a hostile environment that you are about to destroy is too good.
@@rockyreecey4191 then completely remake it MGSV style, I'm sure no one will mind the change in gameplay, I know for a fact I wouldn't mind

He was one hell of a soldier
Also id like to add that in the boss fight with him, Venom still moves insanely fast showing he never lost his touch even at the age of 50
Age of 63
@@eamondevalera3126that makes my point even better, even NS wasn't that good, he was good sure but he wouldn't have kept up with himself at a younger age, Venom was physically crippled, had a horn that could cause brain damage, suffered an injury that left metal shards in his body aswell as put him in a 9 year coma, Venom as just built different I guess
Should have made his character solidus lol later in the story of course
Saves animals, saves soldiers, uses non lethal trough out the game, loses all his friends, kills his soldiers that he's never sent out on missions because forget losing a single one, protects the world from nuclear weapons, gets entire based destroyed, gets gunned down by a clone, dies alone, on a cold floor, while what little he had left gets destroyed, as he fades away, never to be truly known by anyone other than the one who's place he was taking, a guy that used to scream like a cat and maybe a certain girl, long gone.

От души! Грамотность особо порадовала.
Think this perfectly illustrates how selfish Ishamel was to Ahab. “You played your role perfectly” confirms it, Venom was always just a tool to further Big Boss’ interests. Venom isn’t the other half of Big Boss, he’s one of Big Boss’ victims
Don't forget, Ahab was one of the MSF soldiers. He was already part of the crew, Ishmael just made him the captain
@@nikunjshrestha7076 sure but real BB didn't give a shit to let die all his friends and soldiers to stay safe... such a hero.
Big Boss down bad
It sad to hear what happened to him for real. Realizing that he was the leader of Outer Haven. Venom Snake is a legend in its own for carrying Big Boss legacy. Dude this is amazing…..they should put this on n the game.
I like to think, this is the canon ending to Venom’s story, it just fits in with the overall story, matches up with the original Metal Gear ending and the potential ending for MGSV.
I mean he does die in the first metal gear.
It happened again. Just like The Boss sacrifice gave birth to the legend of Big Boss, Venom's sacrifice gave birth to Solid Snake's legend.
Wow, how have I not discovered this till now. Legit started crying when Quiet showed up.
Great work to this and to the original comic.
"Here's to You" song is such a dying vibe
This is really underrated amazing work . You've done a really good with the lighting and the scene building . Well done
it's been 7 years and i still feel the phantom pain
im afraid its been... 9 years
Kojima has said that Quiet is still out there and alive at the end of mgsv, so I truly would love to believe she watched Venom from the sidelines and took him away from Big Boss and lived their lives together now that they're both thought to be dead
the impressions of David voicing the boss and Sutherland voicing Venom really sells the idea that they're both different people despite Venom being an exact mental copy of the boss
Venom snake: once only known as a decoy. But now in these times he is more than a decoy of big boss. He is the most grandest soldier in big boss's eyes. An amazing bond of two warlords as the greatest rivals of solid Snake.
Quite was his angel of death😭
Thank you... my friend. From here on out, you're Big Boss
-Big Boss
Lol
Why are we still hear just to suffer?
every night I can feel my arm and my leg even my fingers
the comrades I've lost the body I've lost it won't stop hurting but we'll just have to finish what he no us has started how you may ask?
By being the real heroes of the community and as long there is a community Big Boss, Solid saek and all that will live on in us and IF Konami makes a GOOD Metal gear game we can die happy we are not
cannon fodder or money feeders we are all diemeands we are the fan's who are still inside boxes for some reason
You got your ideologies and understanding of life from a fictional 8bit videogame? Very sad...
I'd advise to read books on history dating back to ancient empires. It is a lot more intriguing than make believe mercenary fantasies.
IVU Fit shut up
@@Sn4K3kxX- Improve your vocabulary, read a book.
This is totally canon in my book. Well done, sir! Well done! You brought out all the feels.
uhhh.... Metal Gears 1 (1987) was retconned by this game to the point that this IS canon
the man who sold the world... who sold everything... for a legacy... that wasn't even for him
i salute you venom snake
My favorite Snake... Venom snake a superior man.
He's also skullface, most interesting snake.
you’ve made the true ending to both MGSV and Metal Gear and also whoever voiced venom snake in this must be a damn mimicry master because I can hardly tell the difference
This is just a fantastic job. I really can't describe how I feel now. This actually makes me rest in peace knowing that maybe this what it should have happened in MGS V. And from now on THIS is my real ending for MGS V and you guys should believe it too.
MaxiRivera well really its the ending of MG1 .
I'm afraid it's been.....3 years. The algorithm finally led me to this masterpiece.
The ending we deserved
Yes :(
I almost cried it was a beautiful ending. He went out like a TRUE BOSS. SALUTE!!
I know this is lame, and they already did a callback to the line, but I kinda wished it would have ended with Quiet saying to Venom:
"Kept you waiting, huh?"
I want to think she said it through humming
@@ryanbarrie9143 she could talk, she was just holding it back so Ahab didn't die
@@prizrakodronov6756 oh yeah, parasites
Actually, she could indeed talk. Remember Mission 45 onward, where you got her tape. She was already dead, and this is the reason she shows up to take Venom. So yeah, she could and should have said something, which would make Snake realising the mission is over even more deep.
"baby bridge, huh?"
This is an awesome video! Too bad Kojima left, because, there’s still about 11 years of lore between ‘84 and Venom’s death that can be explored. The open world concept in V made the game all the more exciting for me to play.
Shame we'll never get a "The Phantom Pain - Director's Cut"...
I'm not crying, YOU'RE CRYING! Seriously though, thank you for this masterpiece. It is the canon ending we never got. I hope one day Kojima sees this.
Last Day In Outer Heaven: a beautiful sendoff to venom snake and a great ending to his story
Canon: venom snake reduced to a pair of smoking boots by being shot in the face 4 times by a rocket launcher
The pain is finally gone Ahab, you can rest now...
3:11 they were both fulton extracted to the great military barracks in the sky.
This exact moment should have been in the game, like many other things that we got in recording form. . . .
The only tapes worth animating are The Hamburgers of Kazuhira Miller
Congrats to the voice acting, the impressions were on point!
the original video is in the description
So the best way to experience the Metal Gear Saga is:
EDIT: Release order. But for the sake of preserving this 3 year old comment, I will keep the old list here.
-MGS3
-MG:PW
-MGSV
-MG
-This animation
-MG2
-MGS
-MGS2
-MGS4
-MGR
best way to experience metal gear is to play them by release date
@@Moofmoof Yeah that's undeniable. 3 years ago I was too much into the timeline, now I get why release order is better.
Now do you remember who you are? What you were meant to do? I cheated death thanks to you and thanks to you I've left my mark.........
The relationship between Ishmael and Ahab is so strong. I almost cried, thank you for this beautiful video.
here's to you playing? you're really trying to make us cry
When big boss woke up from his coma it was already too late to delay zero's and ocelot plan to make a phantom so he had to go along with it
This is still one of the best fanimations ever made. The voices were perfect.l, animation, god tier. It's the perfect ending that never was. I really hope that we get a proper modern remake of the first two games. It would reinvigorate the franchise for sure!
I want bro to pull out that white spray and get up again
AGHHHH
I think there's a chance they remake the first metal gear games as so many companies are having successful remakes. Hopefully, one day in the future, if we're fortunate!
Wonder if it will be the first two or a remake of Solid and the others wouldn’t be against ether of them if they bring back the og creator
@@JellothePallascat I always saw that as his idea of creating future generations to fight the Patriots
I don't think he believed they would be brought down in his lifetime. So he takes children to ensure his ideals live on
@@anthonyf616 well, Since that atomic test he and The Boss oversaw that left him sterile. That would make sense as he could not leave his own offspring to do so.
The idea was to create a common threat so that neither the USA nor Russia started Armageddon. And on that they succeded.
Venom is such a tragic character of the series. He was so loyal to Big Boss he couldnt see that he was just been used and then sacrificed. He died for nothing.
And lost what was truly real in his life - Queit
To think if we got the full 5 chapters that were rumoured to originally be in it, we may have had something this good as a closure
Imagine if there was a cutscene that opened with "11 years later" and this is what follows after....
I'd like to think Venom Snake lived out his days with quiet somewhere in peace ...
This all most
made me cry, Can this please be cannon?
Sterling Mckenzi it better fucking b!!
It actually is Canon. The story of it anyway. Just this video it'self isn't.
its like a way to explain a 8bits fight in a MSX computer
this can't be cannon
It's a video not an artillery weapon
@@karamelflan Bro you just posted cringe

Venom snake and the player are one and the same. Thats why the ending of mgsv is so wholesome, every adventure venom went on you were there, every bond with your companions you made, so in the end when big boss says “im big boss and you are too” he’s speaking to the player. Venom snake’s character is a tragic masterpiece
"It was my pleasure, Ishmael."
The pleasure was mine. I couldn't have asked for a finer soldier, or a better man. You deserved better, Ahab. You deserved better than all of us.

That was well done. Made me wish Kojima got to finish MGSV or had a hand in a remake of the original Metal Gear. Sadly we will never know thanks Konami
What we all wouldn't do to get "The Phantom Pain - Director's Cut"...
Ahhh, what an ending that would have been!
totally agreed, would have been epic, the time skip with the tape at least show us that was what Kojima was thinking of.
@@gacktdirge17 It's tragic as fuck that we'll never get a "The Phantom Pain - Director's Cut"!
I consider this canon pretty much
That last scene with quiet didnt make me cry.... 😥😭😭
Never thought about the possibility that venom snake fight vs solid snake in Metal Gear 1 . Great work.
if this was in mgs5 then it would have been the best part off the game
your pretty good
Ahab's voice actor did an amazing job. And the animator did nicely too. Thank you.
