Will never forget this video. I took a 2 week vacation to Sydney in November of 1995. This video came on very early on the first Saturday morning I was there. Was just so cool to be in a country I always wanted to visit and see this cool video for an awesome song.
Incredible, just when you think you’ve heard it all a new breeze comes through and brings with it sounds that are familiar but new. This is my first time hearing this and my honest reaction is that it’s great. Reminds me of weezer, everclear, helmet, Nirvana, the cult... Rock is forever
Every word they sling you hits like your folks have never been kind And the jewels on your apron could use some calomine Ugly girls and pit faced boys all hunch and join in the line Got the shoe that you lived in And the towel that you dried in There's a drink you can drown in Choose a blanket to die in Spill a drink on his front and salsa on the plans for a mall and high rise 'Cause there's only so much of string that patron can pull and unwind Got the shoe that you lived in And the towel that you dried in There's a drink you can drown in Choose a blanket to die in Check out the towel you can die in I've been singing very wrong lyrics for 28 years. Thanks You Am I for such a ballsy rock classic
@kirsteninthesun Er...sorry to disappoint you, but this song rocked the airways 8 years before 7 nation army came out! Get your facts straight and stop embarrassing yourself!!
I was surprised at 4,000 views too, for such a killer riff and great band. When they supported Oasis the Gallagher Bros loved 'em, come tour in the UK and USA with us but Tim thought otherwise and said we'll do it on our on lads. They had a chance to have more fans but they left this chest nut for the future fans on sites like You tube etc ..they are not underated it's a cultural thing to me...and I'm a chisel, acdc, nick cave fan like them...
the director did the slow the sound(pitch) down and play along thing, research it. awesome fucking song/clip/drumtakefromRusty.. SOOOOOOOOOO UnDERRATED childeren,sHAmE. micky e

March 2021. Still listening here in Melbourne. Ciggi in one hand, wine in the other ❤️ take me back to the late 90’s. I don’t like this place now 😩😩
Over 2 years later. ..... Me toox

That riff and base line are near perfect. And the pauses in the delivery of the lyrics, I loose it every time.
Btw did the colour scheme before jack white and the white stripes, just saying
Hay come on Tim get band back together get some more bangers happening please

Great song but did Michael J Fox direct this video?

I fail to see the hype, not a very melodic song. Or perhaps I just find this melody to be lazy one. Guess u had to be there to get it. Meh
jimmy James Kalkhoven ....Yes, you had to be there. I was and they fucking rocked.
