Hi! I just wanted to say thank you so much for showing the world how beautiful El Salvador truly is. I'm currently in El Salvador visiting my family and watching your videos has shown me even more beauty to this country I have barely explored myself. And something I recommend trying if you get the chance is a sweet treat called "minuta", which is shaved ice with lots of different fruit toppings and sweet syrups of your choice. Thank you for your great video of one of the most beautiful towns in El Salvador, the view of the Suchitlan Lake is amazing, sorry to say but a very sad story about the Lake Suchitlan is that, before the lake was formatted by the hydro electric dam in 1976, some students of Archaeology and some locals also knew that in that area were some very old Pre-Hispanic constructions that dated from many centuries ago, but the Government by that time didn't have the resources nor the interest in saving at least some part of that Archaeological site, so the flooding dam went ahead anyway, so maybe some people know about this, it was very sad, by the way the plantain dessert you had in that video is almost the Salvadorean version of Banana Forster, greetings

Thank you for your great video of one of the most beautiful towns in El Salvador, the view of the Suchitlan Lake is amazing, sorry to say but a very sad story about the Lake Suchitlan is that, before the lake was formatted by the hydro electric dam in 1976, some students of Archaeology and some locals also knew that in that area were some very old Pre-Hispanic constructions that dated from many centuries ago, but the Government by that time didn't have the resources nor the interest in saving at least some part of that Archaeological site, so the flooding dam went ahead anyway, so maybe some people know about this, it was very sad, by the way the plantain dessert you had in that video is almost the Salvadorean version of Banana Forster, greetings

Nice place I live 15 mnts from there and I was in suchitlan a year ago we went in a boat to the island and I enjoyed watching all the birds in the island
