Today's HVAC systems are so complex that almost become counterintuitive, plus they brake easier too. I much rather have a manual/analog system of pulleys and cables like back in the day, those would never brake. Simplicity is always better. A little blend door actuator these days, depending on its location, may make you have to remove the whole dash and spend a lot of money to repair it. Great video and excellent explanations btw..

Agreed, mix in some temperature and humidity sensors and you have quite a complicated system.
Thanks again for your great comments 👍

But what if you are only using the recirculation mode and you want heat 30 degrees Celsius heat but you already have 28 degrees in the car. How can it only use 20% ( since radiator is waaay too hot to bump the temp just 2 degrees ) pass through radiator to keep the temp ok ? Where does the rest of the 80% cooler air come from ? It can't come from ouside as it's in recirculating mode. Does the other 80% just come from a " cold spot hidden vent" inside the car?

There is a blend door that can direct a portion of the recirculating air past the heater core. Essentially, there is a bypass.

Do you still have your Pacifica? I see a bunch of Tesla videos now, I love your Pacifica repair videos, super informative.

I don’t have the Pacifica anymore.
I’m glad that you find value in my repair videos. I hope that you can find something useful or interesting in my newer videos. I’m trying to evolve and try new technologies.

I have been driving for two hours and my car is still not giving me heat from the heating unit. That is how I got to your channel because I was asking The Google how to turn the heat on.?
The passenger and driver side dials are on 84° and 82° respectively. I’ve been in the car since about 330. It’s now 530 and I’m still not getting any warm air. I do not understand can you please help?
    Thank you

I'd recommend checking your coolant level, you may have a leak.
