My first Ala white sauce. About 18yrs ago, I was riding back from Mississippi heading to Ga. Taking my time riding through small towns in Ala. Getting late and hungry, came along a BBQ restaurant. Ate dinner and there was this white BBQ sauce on the table. Thought that was strange but I really enjoyed it. Not until years later, when I got into the BBQ scene did I realize that I had eaten at Big Bob Gibson's place. I still use his recipe when I make white sauce. I caught you on Chud's video putting the table together. Brad seems like a great person to hang with. Great bbq chicken video, thanks Drew.

Great cook - and good use of the PK during our Dallas heat - no reason to fire up the offset !

Looks great! I watched your intro video from a year or so ago yesterday. Nice to know there are folks like myself with other responsibilities beyond bbq who enjoy the process and want to learn. Curious, Did you consider throwing it back on the grill for a few mins to tack up the sauce so it’s not so runny? Would be interested to hear your perspective.

Thanks for watching! You could throw it back on for a bit. If you want it less runny though I’d suggest dunking it in the sauce right after you take it off the grill

You’re doing the lords work sir! Thanks for doing this on the PK! It’s glad to see someone else doing some lite smoking on the PK. Any brand of granulated garlic you tend to grab?

Love the PK! I’ve been getting Adams brand granulated garlic lately. Anything that’s not a super fine powder will do though

@@swinebovinebarbecue Drew, forgot to ask, what was the hot sauce you used? I just ask because it looks a bit closer to the Trappay's peppers in vinegar sauce that I like. I would love to know another option!

@@thetakeout I used Panola Clearly Hot Sauce for this one. Feel free to use whatever you like best though
