    Get buttermilk,add one ranch packet, white vinegar, and a heap load of black pepper. Bam the secrets out

      Nope Mayonnaise is used not buttermilk

    • @tinaknutsen
      @tinaknutsen 5 месяцев назад

      The sauce is coleslaw dressing. Mayo & vinegar…
      Hence, Buttermilk: 1 c. Milk, 1 tablespoons of either lemon juice or vinegar. So technically you could say buttermilk is in it.
      Mayonnaise is just 1 tablespoon of each: mustard, vinegar, lemon juice
      1 cup oil.
      I am giving 1 cup measurement on each recipe because I just make small amounts for just my husband and I. I really also wanted to show the ingredients because they are similar…even making your own mustard calls for vinegar.
      I am 58 and I make all my sauces and dressings as it’s cheaper and takes less than 10 minutes. I learned at a young age that good sauces/dressings /dips are key to a great food.

    Gibson's white sauce is INCREDIBLE. I put that stuff on literally everything, tbh I probably use it more than traditional bbq sauce. The closest way I could describe the taste is like caesar dressing mixed with a little ranch, but even that isn't all that close to it. Absolutely awesome stuff

    You lost me at "Lots Of Vinegar"..... Not a fan unless it is a small amount IN the BBQ Saucy, itself.... Other than that, I'm Out! HaHaHa.

    I'm from Bama. Roll Tide. But, Jesus, could you people stop overemphasizing so much from your read scripts. So obnoxious. The south of America is awesome though. And, and I'm obviously biased, but I consider Alabama to be the heart of it.

    Excuse me. I'm from North Carolina, where we have two distinct types of BBQ, vinegar or ketchup, and SC has their own bullshit mustard based abomination. Lumping the Carolinas together when it comes to BBQ is basically a hate crime.

    I've been studying the world of BBQ and when I think of BBQ chicken I immediately think of big bob Gibson and his Alabama white sauce. I do a version of this up north and blow my competition out of the water. It was inspired by Gibson but mine has a fiery kick from a large amount of chiles

    We have our own kind of "church chicken" here in central NY state called "Cornell Style". Half chickens are marinated in the Cornell basting sauce, then basted as they're cooked over an open pit. Once it's done, you don't need extra sauce on it. It's tender, juicy, fall off the bone good.
    All over the area, churches and volunteer fire departments have regular chicken bbq's during the summer. Each meal consists of the chicken, salt potatoes (new potatoes boiled in super salty water, then doused in melted butter, they don't taste as salty as you think), Grandma Brown's baked beans with brown sugar and molasses, and a soft roll with butter.

      @@sicksohseven That's the beauty of personal preference, nobody has to die on any hill. I didn't say it was any better than anything else, just that it's how we do it up here and we love it.

      @@Nothing-zw3yd lol it's all just fun. just a heads up sterns is just a different brand of Cornell sause it's local to 607 and 585 area, it's not quite as salty as the salamida state fair bottle so you can based it more often.

      @Nothing-zw3yd 2 года назад

      @@sicksohseven I do like Salamida State Fair for spiedies, but I've been making my own the past few years due to food allergies, and it comes out pretty good.
      My ex-wife is from the 607, we'd stop at Lupo's Char Pit occasionally also, but our favorite place was Phil's Chicken House in Endicott. One of a kind roasted chicken, and incredible sides.

      Okay, I am going to spoil the secret white Sauce;
      It is just dipped in coleslaw sauce!
      Yep, my old neighbor years ago owned his own bbq joint in the hicks and people came from all over. What sucks is they got vandalized and robbed several times during the COVID mask bandits and closed down. This video makes my mouth water and my tummy rumble…. Going to cook me up some chicken but I wish I could just order with all the sides, especially miss the burnt ends and corn bread.

      We got a different kind of cuisine in Florida not saying it's better but we got all the seafood delicacies! One of my favorites is stuffed flounder it's got a flounder hollowed out with crab meat and stuffing in the middle. It's so good it might have been stolen from Louisiana! Same with the gator nuggets. I'm from Northwest Florida so.. same shi*😆
