    I used to have the exact same bike with the same colours, but with braided hoses and an after market end can. An amazing bike which i rode every day all year round through ice, rain, and snow with zero issues. I cannot fault this bike apart from the regulator/rectifier which may go and need replaced, but thats its only issue. The paint finish is outstanding and stands up to years of UK salted roads in the winter. This carbureted version is better than the later FGM Honda CBRs which i regretted buying later and cost me a lot. Such an amazing bike in every way still after riding it for many years. I should have not have ever sold it.

    Qué tal! Me cambian una 1998 CBR 600 f3 por una Husqvarna 1999 250 2t, me comentan que la cbr le hace falta servicio al carburador. Vale la pena cambiarla por la CBR? Me interesa hacerlo pero quisiera opiniones acerca de esta moto.

    Muitas pessoas se enganam quando se trata de moto antiga e carburada pois eu mesmo tenho uma cbr 1100xx 1998 e não troco por nada e ja tive várias motos carburada desde Twitter gsx 750f 2008 2:51 cb 500 2005 e agora estou com uma cbr 1100xx 1998 são as melhores motos as carburadas não dão manutenção nenhuma como alguns pensam mas as injetadas são as que mais dão dir de cabeça pois além de serem injetadas também possuem muito sistema elétrico e aonde dão mais problemas em vista das carburadas é só limpeza de carburador mesmo e se precisar pelo contrário não incomodam em nada.

      @@Eight20 @Eight20 1999 was the last F3 the F4 came late 99, ultima lite in between the change over. in the uk at least. The F2 and F3 are pretty much the same, rear tail section changed and a white rev counter, power increase was the main thing from 88bhp to 108bhp with the aid of ram air system and tuning. everything else is the same, it was the F4 that really changed, frame, fuel injection on F4i, wider yoke.

      Replace the R/R with a GSXR unit and adjust the harness. I went through several OEM honda parts on my 98' and frankly the factory parts are trash. I replaced the OEM stator with a Rick's Electric stator at the same time and several hundred miles later I have no issues with the charging system (even with the bike off the tender).

      @Eight20  3 года назад +2

      It's an F3, the F2 was from 91-94 and the F3 was from 95-98, easiest way to tell is the ram ports that you can see @0:07 also it's written on the bike "Direct Air Induction" the F2 never had this.

      @@Eight20 Despite that, the greatest difference is the front end. 95 saw the introduction of damping and preload adjustment, although rumour has it that not all of the F3's got them until '97. I dunno. I have a '96 and a '97 and the front ends are identical.
