Isaac kinda looks like a scared puppy here, you can see he doesn't feel comfortable. I just hope he will get better, and I hope one day he can return to BCNR.

as someone who is a little autistic I think he might be a little autistic. I see him do a lot of the same stuff I do in day to day life in interviews. I could be wrong but just a guess.

that's how art happens tbf. just keep your eyes open and something sticking will pop out, and often you'll know it's right even if you don't know why.
great point i think a lot of people never consider when creating art. sometimes things can gain significance and new meaning later on as the artists themselves evolve, even if it wasn’t initially intended.

The way this interview is set up just feels so awkward. Like you can clearly tell Isaac isn't very comfortable here. Whether that's because he was still very fresh into mainstream stardom or whatever. It's still just such an awkward interview .
tbf isaac generally has big "i don't want to be here" energy whenever he's on camera. god bless him, it must have been so fucking taxing.
not to drag the interviewer too much, but she didn’t really suit the group very well as a whole, just a few too many awkward propositions and comments which left the others struggling to answer at times

i think part of what makes this interview seem "awkward" is that the seats aren't even facing the audience? It's not immediately obvious but as soon as I saw it I just imagined being in the crowd and only seeing backs of chairs😭
That part in science fair where the electronics come in and the strings it really reminded me of Radiohead actually

Ed is, Ed is obviously nice and tells stories that relate to them and help the interview find common ground.
The interviewer is just psychoanalysing isaac all the way through and kinda does ask the wrong questions and it ends up being a bit pseudointellectual

This is kinda pathetically awkward for how much of budget it seems to have
The whole format and set design is comically out of step with what these four artists are all about... looks more like Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? set in a Black Mirror episode
I like that they kept a certain intimacy instead of cutting awkward moments. Honestly was worth a watch. I don't think it's pathetic.

i hate people like her. everything she says is to indirectly verbalize her opinions and psychoanalyze you but pretend it's about something else. she's doing it to isaac. this is why i became the way i am and why it's so hard to talk to people anymore. i'm constantly paranoid and uncomfortable because people do this to me too. it's something about us that makes people like her wanna attack but they don't wanna be direct for some reason. very interesting phenomenon. it's pure energy
