i think part of what makes this interview seem "awkward" is that the seats aren't even facing the audience? It's not immediately obvious but as soon as I saw it I just imagined being in the crowd and only seeing backs of chairs😭

Great to hear a good balanced recording of this incarnation of the band. Tyler's vocals are often completely drowned out especially on this song, so nice to hear them loud and clear in the mix.

i hate people like her. everything she says is to indirectly verbalize her opinions and psychoanalyze you but pretend it's about something else. she's doing it to isaac. this is why i became the way i am and why it's so hard to talk to people anymore. i'm constantly paranoid and uncomfortable because people do this to me too. it's something about us that makes people like her wanna attack but they don't wanna be direct for some reason. very interesting phenomenon. it's pure energy

I love how they build up from pastoral to incredibly intense. Anyone who likes this kind of thing should check out Lisa Germano's (I think first) album, which is (interestingly) called "Lullaby for Liquid Pig." It's just transcendentally beautiful, and this reminds me of it in a lot of places. She was a violinist for John Cougar Mellencamp, but went on to do some solo stuff, which (like this) was mostly a bit beyond the tolerance of most of the pop music audience. So she never really got well known.
