    \a tip from one GB to another, when you are having a hard time with the triangle, grab you ankle and keep you foot in there hip. Put your other hand on your own knee as a frame. He can no longer smash your triangle. Then you need to shoulder walk backwards as fast as you can. There will stretch them out letting you figure 4 the leg easier and tighter. Also turn your foot out and crunch the knee into your calf as you squeeze. It will make for a much tighter triangle

    • @brucewillis2486

    • @jmdowns_
      @jmdowns_  3 года назад +1

      I trained for 5ish months or so at Gracie Barra which included live rolling and positional training. It’s extremely important to condition yourself with other teammates of higher rank not only for the condition but for learning from their experiences. Technique goes out the window when your exhausted so it’s best to get used to it!

    • @joelgomez7136
      @joelgomez7136 2 года назад +1

      @@BonerSexGaming the reason why is because Gracie jiu jitsu was designed specifically for self defense. If a brand new white comes in and is taught a submission most likely that submission is meant to break an opponent or seriously injured them. Every white belts always goes 110% percent now imagine that same white belt doing a damn arm bar or a heel hook. And not knowing when to stop. Because he /she has no control and don't know much. Hence why Gracie jiu jitsu students are not allowed to roll for a good bit of time but guarantee that once they can they will be drilled so many of these movements efficiently it will only take them a short while until they adapt and truly become a force to be reckoned with. They will adapt to people not just thinking jiu jitsu and grappling with them but as well as getting hit in the process. In the street not everyone is only going to grapple around with you they will throw bombs. A bjj sport oriented practioner will not know the first thing when getting with bombs in a street fight and unfortunately will most likely get knocked out.
