At the 5:00 min mark, I miss spoke. These pucks (meanwell LDD drivers) are PWM 0-5v ONLY!!. I apologize about the error. A standard analog dimming potentiometer will NOT work. Thanks for all the love and support this season!

I bought one of these pucks for $30 on Amazon. My tent is 27x27". My light was 1 Mars Hydro TS1000 at 100% for 450PAR intensity when I flipped to flower. With the TS1000 on for 10, off for 14, and the puck turning on 30 minutes before the TS1000 and staying on for 30 minutes after the TS1000 (so 11 hrs of light total) for the first 7 days. I also had the puck shut off for 3 hrs in the middle to represent high noon. So that's far red on at 18:30, off at 22:30, on 01:30, off 05:30, and TS1000 on at 19:00, off at 05:00. I had actual flowers showing on day 7, so I switched to 19:00-07:00 light schedule with the puck running on the same timer now. This is my first grow, so not really having any experience, I've heard it can take 2 weeks to show flowers. Can I consider this an early Bloom due to the puck? Or did it have more to do with the 11/13 light schedule? I'm growing 1 indica and 2 sativas in the same grow, and all of them bloomed together. Also, I just added another light to bump PAR up to 675 for weeks 3-6 of flower, and a 3rd light will give weeks 7-harvest 900 PAR. Would any experienced growers do something different?

Hey Titan, long time no talk. Judging by your videos , the cobs are growing some nice quality for you. These would be a nice addition. And yes, there will be a modular frame concept available to the public thru RapidLED, available in the next 10-14 days. I just need a few more Vero29 gen7 before I can produce the video.

Curious about the on board regulator? Can't you power the LED's in a string and trim the voltage with the correct voltage zener diode? Then use an inexpensive PWM regulator as a dimmer? Why would you want to dim the array? Why make such a simple 4, LED circuit so difficult? After watching the other video discussing flower initiators decided to try this. Thanks for the lead.

Old (hot) lightbulbs (>=60w) should do the trick as they have much far red (and infrared). And for that 20-30min a day they should do the trick?! No need to go all efficient LED there? Are there any benefits or am I just plain wrong and old bulbs don't work?

I'm watching this vid for the second time. I love the idea of putting them to sleep sooner using the red light but . . . . I am not an electrician, nor a "light man", I am . . . . learning. Do I need all sorts of extra items? the power plug for example. Do they hang like regular lights? Do I place them on a board? You know what you are doing, do I? (new things scare me). Is this a "Plug and Play" item?

@growmau5 On the cutter website do your diy kits come with meanwell drivers? All I could see was like a model number. Do you prefer the regular (not sure what voltage is maybe 36v) or would the 72v be a better option. I see it's slightly more expensive for the 72v I'm willing to pay more if it's worth it.
