I don't think they are radical or anything, but they are damn good. really great at what they do, and have been since Uncle Tupelo days. They're way more human --"real" if you like--than most musicians at their level of fame and success. they make me want to dance, cry, that's all i ask....

I love the pictures painted by the lyrics "the door screams 'I hate you,I hate you" and who else would use phrases like "currency of leaves" or "happenstance" ? friendofthedevil is right basically they are an INTELLIGENT rock group where there is no other one at the moment I can't think of one.

@YearZeroRecords Most of their fans are boring people. I saw them in An Arbor, MI last year and I sware to you, 75% of the audience was wearing the same brand coat and sitting on their hands. Still...WILCO is unbelieveably talented. Tweedy is a gifted artist.
