Much better than the Drazoah one. Caravan farming, using labourers to rush Gordaz, even influence for getting T2 Silver Pinnacle, nice that's what I like to see. ;) As for tower seats, the one that gives +15% movement after winning a battle is also pretty important to make the campaign go as smoothly as possible in the mid to late game. Not that important at start, but it makes a huge difference later on.
Hey appreciate you giving my channel another go. Your comments in the previous video were well written and in hindsight the Drazhoath video was overly clean and didn't challenge the deeper tactics as well as it could have, so that certainly shaped this video. I great reason why I love the TW RUclips community and how we all get better together. Cheers mate.

The T2 Silver Pinnacle in this one is what I will do next time I get to play Astragoth. But I like playing Draz more, his faction is better late game for me, cause I loooove my train doomstacks. @@lazaruslong697 Appreciate the sub and your input. I have zero respect over creators who attack people who merely disagree. It's a great way to learn, making it senseless. I aim to make somewhat allcomers content but can be followed by a new player or someone new to the faction, but I'm passionate about making good educational tools. Oddly enough, the initial drive to create was to shutdown the notion that "You have to cheese on Legendary" when you simply have to centre around your racial strengths and understand your faction's capability. I enjoy being immersed in a universe where decisions make roleplaying sense so that's the angle I try to share. Legend and Mercy are both great and stand out in their own way. Big fans of both.
Great video! Can you do a similar video like this for Dark Elves? They feel so much better to play in the 3.1 update. Just pick your favourite DE Lord and do one of these perfect turn videos?
They're still my second main so I'd love to cover them. I've got a boatload of video ideas I'm plowing through and it might be the next patch where I go over them again in more depth, but you've inspired me to plan a run and see what comes of it ;)
hi, i am new to TWW3. i don't have any questions or suggestions, i just wanna say that i really appreciate your content. Your guids are really amazing, the way you explain mechanics is so damn good. You are great, wish you good luck🤟💪
After not playing since May, this gave me a great insight into how Astragoth's campaign should be started after the 3.1 patch. Originally just going through the ogre and greenskin factions to your east was adequate to eventually face off with Grimgor by turn 9-10. Recently however he seems to be way more aggressive and would have at least 2 full stacks by the time I made it up there. I guess avoiding him in the early game isn't as bad now, with your strategy giving sorcerer heroes it will be a great help in melting the hordes of boyz.
Well said. You hit the nail on the head. He fields well fed greenskins while you're rocking hobgoblins and starving laboureres so an early war will drown you out. You could rush him, but this really risks overextending, so I feel the best tactic is to establish fortresses and wall up a perimeter and then be able to have time to react to the challenges that arise.
@@ElvenPlotArmour I disagree. I had next to no issues with Grimgor, and think its best to rush west and secure that flank. He's basically the only real threat that can see you in the early game, so not giving him time to build up is pretty key. The Lahmian Sisterhood, on the other hand, is a minor faction, so programmed to not give you much trouble.
@@daxl505 it depends. Drazof is really good but Astragoth is no slouch. Imo astra's army is stronger in battle but drazoh gives some nice economy bonuses.

hey EPA! I'm a new player, picked up wood elves. I watched your wood elf videos, but I wonder if you'd consider updating the wood elf IE campaign perfect 20 turns, and maybe consider MP aspect?
Hey man, I do need to update the WE, I'll give it a look. regarding MP, I'm so out of practice there I've more centred around a "You can dominate legendary without cheese, just by owning your faction's strengths" approach where I really enjoy immersive elements of the game. MP players have my upmost respect and to get to that level is almost a different game, but wood elves are very hit and run by nature. Try to centre your AP arrows on the meaningful targets and use your movement to ruin their cohesion, then hit them in the back with arrows and cav... Having a giant tree smash them also helps ;)
@@ElvenPlotArmour hey , thanks a lot for the quick reply!! I was watching many videos on WE, not so many available for MP. Many people use mostly heroes as the front line and a bunch of archer units it seems, but I'm concerned how these kind of stacks can deal with fast cav flanking all the time if I don't run a bunch of spearmen. Also, many use auto-resolve only rules for mp IE, but many of the settlements are always auto-defeat. Would you have any tips on how to take these without doing the actual battle? Thanks anyway, look forward to more WE content :)
