Great guide, I bought the DLC yesterday and gave it a try for a couple hours checking them out, found it a bit clunky. The step by steps here made it a huge cheese and much more fun compared to my first playthru. Thanks Mr. Cultist

They would have died I explained it in the video. That is why you shouldn't have them reinforce, but if you aren't sure you can win without not controlling large army bring them, or well 1 of them.
If you aren't playing on the harder difficulties the a.i. is probably not as aggressive so they didn't capture, it might be they changed the a.i. behavior, but I doubt it. Besides you can chill for a turn and recruit some more units.
Yeah, I don't know then, I tried the campaign 5 times, the a.i. did the same thing all 5 times, so Its ether rng or they did change the a.i. behavior, ether way I will try it again later.
Ahh, big brain idea though, if he is in range of the settlement garrison just wage war on him and attack the greenskins, you can draw him in and kill him that way. Just make sure you wipe most of his army, and you will have to be careful about him attacking your other lords.

What's the idea of disbanding the lords that you created? Doesn't it make more sense to keep them and level them up?

Tretch no longer occupies Mount grey hag on turn 5 so this doesn’t work fyi

He chills out in front of the settlement for a turn. I only play on legendary/VH

I think fighting that greenskin army plus tretch in the early game is a bit much to ask. Hobgoblins kinda suck
