He's singing it in a lower key and there could be a million reasons why, and any singer still gets nervous. I hope to see him when he comes to Auburn Hills, Michigan in February! :) go Josh!
AHHHHHHH! He's wearing such a cute shirt!!! At about 3:10, a girl in the front row is playing with her necklace... lol know what that means. *sigh* His voice is like caramel. Rich & heavy & just flows around so nicely when it's warmed up. Hehe. Never used that analogy before.
Would you happen to have all of this GMA performance? I am desperate to find it! My Husband and I took our 3 and 4 year old Daughters to see him perform and got to meet him. At one point Robin interviews him about how he stayed so grounded and talks about his parents being there. His Mother is holding my 4 year old and my Husband is in the middle with my 3 year old and Josh's Dad is on the other side. I wanted to get the DVD so we would always have it and Husband did not want to spend the money since we had in on our Tivo box! I managed to keep them from upgrading the box for these years but it broke and today the guy is here and can't fix it. Help! I cannot find it anywhere else. Thank you if you or anyone else knows where I can find the full episode.
Awake is more pop than anything else and this is a big test if he will pass for the pop genre. But he should concentrate more when he sings in tv shows since the songs are not within his "normal" range.

yep, one semitune lower than original. He loses the pitch at 3:21
