I hope Peak Design does a second versions of these bags to improve the comfort and robustness of the shoulder straps. I feel that is more important than the strap stow-away feature.

Totally agree. The strap/carry comfort of these is lacking.
One of the reasons I don't like these so much.
Have their duffel and toiletry bags though.

Thank you for watching! I agree I would prefer to continue to see improvements on the straps

Great comparison Danny! I owned the Everyday Zip 20L and loved it, but went up to the regular Everyday 30L so I could have more room for camera & edc gear. I sold my 20L ZIp but really wish I had kept it because there is definitely a weight difference between the Zip 20L & regular 30L. You mentioned that the magnets on the 20L Zip were a bit on the weak side. The Zip bags don't actually have the strap magnets on them at all. I think they left those off of the Zip versions of the bags to keep costs down as the Zip bags are a bit less expensive than the regular bags.
I love both bags and they are really hard to beat for my EDC needs. However, I do find the regular 30L to be a bit uncomfortable for longer walks/hikes when it's loaded. And the bag padding on each is very thin. It's fine for EDC or short excursions, but I prefer more for longer activities.
I REALLY wish Peak Design would come out with a more outdoors focused version of these bags that pairs lighter materials with better padding. Something in Xpak or Ecopak would be awesome. I recently backed the Stratus Photo 18L from Wandrd just for this reason. While the Stratus bag still uses Wandrd's standard tarpaulin material, the padding/strap system looks to be very robust and comfortable. And as previous owner of the Prvke and a current owner of the Fernweh, I can attest to the general comfort of Wandrd's bags.

Thank you for watching and for sharing your experience with the bags! Definitely tough to beat for edc but agree on the harnesses and I think the new wandrd bags definitely look like a solid alternative!

Requesting a review of the Gomatic Travel Pack - Expandable 20-30L Business Travel Bag. RUclipsr Mrwhosetheboss (with nearly 19 million subscribers) recently did a video of his Everyday tech carry (currently at 2.5 million views) and this was his backdack. Love to see another review on it.
Edit: looks like you did a review of the Nomatic x Peter McKinnon 25L Camera Pack a year ago.

Thank you for watching! I did a few videos on the original expandable backpack a few years ago if you want to check them out. It’s always been one of the versatile bags in my opinion and the newer versions have better materials and zippers
