Would love to see Sam changing it up and getting away from Anime content like Blue Eyes, Dark Magician, Egyptian Gods etc. I get that it gets clicks but I’m just so burnt out on that type of content from him and nowadays it seems that 1 of every 3 videos fits the category.
Why isn't Wee Witch Apprentice used more in Dark Magician decks? You can link off Rod and DM to make it and DM is boosted up when he comes back, and if Wee Witch gets destroyed, you can add Rod back to hand without having to use a trap or tribute a monster, she's mad underrated.

Power Creep is the short answer. It’s not that it’s a bad card, it’s definitely still playable in DM. It’s just that there’s better ED options that take higher priority over Wee Witch. It can absolutely be played in a typical Pure DM profile, but builds like Branded DM, or Dogmatika DM where Extra Deck space is tight, there’s just no room for it. Also many DM players consider Dharc to be Wee Witch’s successor just due to Dharc being able to climb to Accesscode Talker.

7:50 you should have attacked with DM and Rod and then use Secrets from your hand in the battle phase to fusion summon into The Dark Magician's and finish him off ;)
I recently built a dumb normal monster deck with piercing the darkness, magikuriboh, and flawless perfection of the tenyi. It gets pretty crazy pretty fast with a normal monster deck and goblin traps and spells.
You should ask for a six samurai deck from the AI and see if you or the AI can make a better deck.

Well, the AI was still smart enough to put Wee Witch in the extra deck what most people don't do, so there is that. Thought I'm the only one who does that because I never saw a DM player using that card.

In the last duel you could have done more damage if Mahad attacked the Danger since its attack increases against Dark monsters

You can try use red eyes flare metal dragon which is an xyz dragon that use 2 level 7 it’s pretty decent cannot be destroyed by affect while it has a card in it also every time your opponent uses an affect they get burned for 500 for every time they use an affect its a cool monster to have in your dark magician deck
I actually took it out of my Dark Magician deck recently because I never summoned it, but after the new support, I cut down my number of Dark Magicians from 3 to 2 and I also cut out Mahad, so I don't really get a chance to use the XYZs anymore.

That was pretty freaking cool. I'm not good with understanding how AI works but that seems like its well developed for its purpose. Wish I knew how it worked 😆
with these queries it's just going to search the web for answers. The best case scenario (and I doubt it does this) would be slightly more advanced where it could compile different results and use the more commonly appearing choices to build one that way...
but that also can cause problems as an AI would probably get the card balance wrong just selecting the cards which appear in most decks.
Another telltale sign is that an AI would be unlikely to make the 1/2/3 copy judgement call on it's own. let alone picking a card in the current forbidden list at the time.
If it really was making a deck and understood the game. that would be the first thing it would check.

It just seems to sometimes only make a 40-card deck including the extra deck

If you are gonna run 3 Ash Blossom's put a Baronne De Flur in the extra deck because level 10 and 8 Synchro's are consistent in DM, side deck the Effect Veiler if you want, you could make a sly Borreload Savage Dragon or Draco Berserker Tenyi with her or any level 1 tuner that isn't prejudice.
Drop Magician Of Dark Illusion and Apprentice Illusion Magician both to 1. Let me know what kind of Dark Magician deck you are building and if it's for MD or TCG and of it is a OTK swarm, shutdown or draw power version, I'll suggest a bunch of cards for any of those themes you're going with

You should make your best Six Samurai deck, give it to the AI, and ask it what improvements it suggests to make it a better deck. Then play that deck and see if it makes a difference (for better or worse).
Why is dragoon banned when cards like mirror jade, DRNM, kaijus, etc exist in master duel 🤦♂️
