Upstart has a goblin in the picture and you really goblins aren't even a archetype. Terraforming is a field spell searching card that belongs to no archetype at all and is basically cheating and sam knows this. He does this kinda stuff when he knows his own rules.
@@BlazingAce20 not to mention it is a literal goblin card considering goblin "archtype" is just anything with goblin in its name.
I mean the card is searchable through scrounging goblin so yeah

Naturia can beat this deck but the problem is that Pak didn't use the better cards. If he had cards like cherries and antjaw with fruitfly. You let cherries get destroy or sent to the GY by your opponent. Then you summon out antjaw and fruitfly. If they special summon any monster then you can use antjaw effect to summon two more fruitflies on the field. Once you have all 3 fruitflies on the field sam monsters would've been losing 900 for each Naturia monster on the field which you would have 4 on the field making him have 0 atk monsters. Meaning he would've lost as his monsters couldn't do anything.
This makes me think when you do a wheel your at least allowed one board wipe because that field card Sam has was OP

The archetypes with a lower number of cards seems to have a advantage because they can run lots of staples

Yeah but also staples can also be bricks if you wanna combo and you got lightning/dropplet/imperm/and a useless negate card that does nothing to your opponent. So I guess it's better to have more combos than "staples"

Bacterian Empire Fortress Zelos is honestly kinda nutty if you think about it. And Big Cores were the original Boss Rush deck before Generaiders came out to turn Duels into elaborate boss fights.
This is also a good display of just how PAINFUL it was to try to play Naturia before they got their new cards. Sure they've got those busted Extra deck monsters and Tree is a cool support card, but getting to their Extra Decks is too slow, especially if you try to make Exterio the hard way. And who knows what they were thinking with their highest level Synchro just being a vanilla beater in a deck with no good Effectless monster support. At least now Tenyis and Dracoback exist if you want to do funny stuff with Leodrake.

Idk why I was playing Pak in the first stage of the duelist cup but he beat my ass. Baited me with an important search card to use my ash then already had the cards he needed. Then cross out my cosmic cyclone. Ya bastard

Yes! Im running a rikka aroma deck and absolutely love the gameplay. Plants is an archetype thats just not played often enough in vids imo

@@sorina9130 yeah it kinda is. The whole mechanic is tribute. Tribute this to special summon. Spells activate to either tribute and search or to give lp. Traps activate to either recycle cards and give lp or spend lp for actions. Minions usually have some lp effect, either gain or if your lp is higher, effect is active. And the extra deck gives a lot of tribute opponent effects. The new rikka field spell allows you to tribute enemy mons as if you owned them, totally bypassing "on destruction" effects

Limiter removal is generic Type support (machine) so it's allowed, while terraforming shouldn't be allowed but it's been used every episode basically 😂

I don't mind the format, I don't particularly like arena as a game mode. Classic is okay because you farm easy teams. 3v3 is super difficult and I kinda CBA with it alot of the time. It seems you need specific champs to be decent. Completely agree with matchmaking it'll take time to get relevant matchups, the rest is okay but I think the timezones needs to be adjusted or removed. I'm UK so it's okay for me assuming I can spare time but for other areas of the planet it isn't great

Could Konami make a rarity shard converter?
EX: You convert 1000 "C" fragments to get 1 "UR" fragment or 2 "SR" fragments. In the case of "R" fragments it would be 500 to obtain a "UR" fragment and 250 for the "SR".
This would help implement the system used in Duel Links to Master Duel. In addition, it would help eliminate the massive amount of "C" and "R" fragments in the game, without having to "destroy", or even create unwanted or duplicate cards.
(Konami, I would appreciate it if you could read this, otherwise, you don't support the channels that promote your games.)
Sadly no because Konami loves their money that’s the whole reason building a deck in the tcg can be so expensive because certain cards are printed at certain numbers to create a shortage on cards in high demand therefore they are gonna do the same in MD if u could simply uncraft cards u weren’t using you wouldn’t have to spend money on gems because I’ll tell you what if I had a way to convert my N/R deck to SR/UR id have had my expensive ass anime decks to play against my friends ages ago… speaking of why else do you think anime decks are so expensive?? Not because of there power it’s because Konami knows what the majority is gonna wanna play that’s why meta decks are inexpensive u can build eldlich easier than blue eyes

Even reading slowly, it gets very complicated trying to understand the context you wrote. It's not a matter of laziness or retorting what you've written, but rather it's a matter of writing like a person who's learned from school, knowing how to write texts and sentences.
Another thing, 'that's why meta decks are cheap', which parallel universe do you live in? In mine, ALL Meta game decks are extremely expensive. They end up becoming "cheap" when, over time, the value reduces when new cards arrive to be sold.
My suggestion won't interfere too much with buying cards from packs, as they can put the amount they want. Another thing, in this exchange there would be cards without visual effects. If players wanted to opt for this, instead of 1,000 "C" for 1 "UR", they would spend 10,000 to make it shiny and 100,000 to make it prismatic.
The problem is the same as you mentioned, Konami (and other companies) don't want to listen to their game users, but to their CEOs, sponsors, and investors.
It's complicated to have an "eye bigger than the heart".

Sam's MD videos against irl players now has two cliches that I'm all but convinced he does on purpose for the content itself: a) he "misplays" by clicking on the wrong card(s) when he has game or a FTK/ OTK plain as day on board or in hand, or b) he "doesn't read" a card he's had ample time to read in between turns or during deck build sessions when he's breaking down his deck card by card when does do that. I guess that's entertaining....?
Yes, Sam is great because he is an entertainer (I think) and needs to make the videos funnier instead of otk or ftk guest youtubers, or he will be playing Runick/sprite izhizu with rage quitting all over the place, and example is that he was playing Red Dragon Deck, He already made a video of Supernova, but in the previous a video he faced a Red Dragon deck against MBT and he start reading like he doesnt know what super nova does, It was good and entertaining why spoil it? and if you don't like it there are other youtubers with a more "pro" approach to the game
