Never forget: in the anime, ALL of the Yubel monsters had Ultimate Nightmare’s effect to burn when attacking. In the TCG/OCG, for some reason, Yubel and Terror Incarnate only burn when being attacked. On some level I understand that could be too powerful, but it’s still so funny how bad the effects were made.
To be fair, the anime version still involves the opponent attacking yubel. Forced into doing so.

I swear, she does. I loved her character in the show. It's a decent effect, but I wished they allowed Yubel to crash for damage.
Yeah she needs an active win condition of some kind and some protection so she's not so easy to get rid of.
He should of cheated like Sam did

Something like the Blue-Eyes Jet Dragon can get rid of her very easily (just attack into her with Jet Dragon and then use Jet Dragon's effect to bounce Yubel back to your opponent's hand, which also gives your opponent what is pretty much a dead card). Hell, Jet Dragon is probably her....ahem...."ULTIMATE NIGHTMARE" since Jet Dragon can just keep coming back once it's no longer in the deck (and it can be pretty easily searched/cheated out via cards like the White Stone of Ancients) even if your opponent somehow sends Jet Dragon to the GY.
Of course, Jet Dragon is just amazing all around anyway, so it's no surprise that it can also counter Yubel. :P

yubel really is everything the anime is about. not only is this villain deck literally incapable of winning without the opponent being an idiot but the best part is where the higher up yubels destroy the board so that even if your opponent is an idiot you are forced to remove your win condition every end phase
At one point I tried to use Mound of the Bound Creator to stop it from destroying itself with its own effect, but it backfired much more often than it helped. I tried so many times when I was younger to make those cards work lol.
In fairness, Yubel's goal in the anime wasn't even to win, just to get super poly and fuse all dimensions. She also could force Jaden to attack.
I mean if we are being fair her cards were better in the anime. The fact that in the anime you could attack and burn makes that so much better

To be fair, if we talk about Anime character decks, then Sam was cheating by using Stratos, which made the difference in the end.

It's frustrating that Sam feigns being an idiot in his videos so he can try and get away with cheating all the time. You can't just cheat and keep cackling until your opponent stops calling out your bullshit, that's literally what 10 year olds do.

Yugioh GX introduced Super Polymerization which is my favorite fusion spell next to branded fusion.
The fact you guys can make the same animation MD implements speaks both to your dedication and to MD devs awful investment in those assets

It wouldn't have matter, Yubel's "WHEN" effect would miss timing if Stratos pop Limit Reverse. Yubel needs retrains, a lot.

Fun fact: The effect of the card when it leave's the field is only activated when it sends to the GY or removed from play or returned to the hand, but the effect won't be activated when the card is returned to the deck.

I just clocked out for my lunch break and got a notification that Sam posted a video . I’m now silently rejoicing in the break room😎
What this duel showed me is that whoever designed the Yubel duel in the anime introduced a card like spell chronicle for a reason. It put Judai on a clock, which is why Judai couldn’t play passively.
Back in 2008 it was a incredible meta deck😍

The fact that this is played with post GX rule set alone is a huge nerf to Jaden's deck, as it can no longer pack 3 of each fusion to provide the maximal options.

@@mikeyderrick387 well this fusion card sadly is not to fresh it just took a handfull of years to be Released in the tcg... but my copium is that the line of gx Themes that got Support yubel should also come maybe 23 or 24 ... a bit after the dark World arc.
