it's the quality of audio being uploaded to youtube. also it was 2009 or 2010. still didn't have the best mics. especially esports was still growing at the time so maybe budget and stuff.
hey buddy si just got some question...at 9:05 -9:07 mr naps(the right one^^) , has started the launch by pressing 4 (circle)...but how can he cancel b+3 so easily to continue with a normal punch....ich hope someone can give am an andvise...thank u very much
amazing match... bryan is just too hard to learn properly... people say he is easy but its just because they do the basic combos.... but this.... this is brilliant. I tried practicing the taunt but it needs EXTREME timing in 2 cases. 1st timing to when your oponent gets up... and 2nd to do the move just after the knee hits the enemy... if you delay even one milisecond you gonna get reeeeally fucked up.... but he who masters it..... well... the results are displayed above lol
@Sosozanyway I do play SSFVI and they're all based on frames. They all have a time stopping period upon each successful blow, even KOF which is in 100% 2D. They all snap to their default falling/blocking/teching animation when their moves are cancelled. 2D and 3D do not factor into this.
@ShiroKreuz I think you're right - watch Tekken Crash... Knee OBLITERATES Naps completely. Looks like Knee drops plenty of rounds on purpose here and then comes back to make it interesting. Knee is too good for Naps.
@Sosozanyway Yeah. I know what you were saying. It still makes no sense to say that exclusively about 3D fighters, when the movement in 2D is in no way more fluid.
@0rcryst You must not play Super Street Fighter 4 or MvC3 then. 2D fighters don't have side stepping, and the combos are based on frames (at least in SSF4) so you don't get this awkward pause inbetween each hit...I don't know that's just the way I see it.
Now that Knee is REally Back!!! I wanna see him match with Qudans if he will b back and also MSR! DAmn these players....... Y did they retire.. theyre top 3 in the world
@isawayto I guess, it's only cus ATL doesnt have any Bryan players up there. Tekken world is basically ATL, Korea and 1 guy in NY, maybe like 1 or 2 in Cali.
I understand your point but his reasoning is also somewhat valid.. I play tekken with my friends and having fun socializing with other fat geeky players as well but (in my experience with them) they prefer playing tekken rather than schooling... They skip classes just to play all day which is sad.. Well its their prerogative anyways -just my two cents
Mr.naps . Was doing well in first 2 match . But knee beat em by luck .. if u check 3:10 and 6:02 . U will see what I mean by luck . And secondly mr.naps was great in first 2 match . But when knee comes back by luck he got hurt about it . And he lose his main style .
***** while luck wasn't involved what you said makes absolutely no sense. Knee wasn't giving any of those rounds up that he lost, Naps read him and won, Knee was trying to win the first 2 rounds clearly but his low poke got blocked and Naps countered. Also in the second match, why would Knee give up the first 2 rounds again? Makes absolutely no sense, if he was going by your theroy, he would have figured out his pattern in the first match, so he wouldn't need to do the same, and if you're going to say he changed his pattern becuase it's a new match, that makes no sense either, players don't only change patterns because it's a new match. There's the same probability of a player changing his pattern on the third game as a fresh one match. Simply put, you can't win every game, Tekken isn't all about reactions, guessing game, and prediction game is just as important.
jim jones Obviously we have different perspectives in watching the game, and I'm going to debunk most of the claims you just made because I don't think you have watched a lot of Knee playing, or even a lot of Tekken Crash series. First of all, as I stated before, Knee carried the pattern of lose 2 rounds and win 3 rounds. He "obviously" doesn't do this on purpose, but he usually did in his Tekken Crash matches as a sort to read his playstyle. Your statements mostly come off as biased because you like to include those "makes no sense" claims, but that's the surprise factor of Knee's playing. He was just that good at the game that he was able to make up what other opponents weakpoints were throughout the matches. Also, I never claimed that he just "gave up" the first 2 rounds. It's called testing, where professional players tend to make up plays throughout and analyze patterns of what other players are mostly thinking of. Lots of Korean players, or actually, the general lots, have their styles, or rhythms in which they utilize the best which also showcase their playing styles. Knee simply has the ability to analyze them and use as an offensive ability. It's not something a lot of players have, and that's why Knee even as of now is considered to be one of the top Tekken players in the world. And listen. I'm seriously not trying to come off as an offensive guy because I appreciate people commenting on these kinds of old Tekken videos, but before you claim something doesn't make sense, try to watch the videos again or analyze furthermore. "Players don't change their patterns only because it's a new match?" Really? That's the stupidest claim I've heard of. Players ready an great amount of new patterns for different situations. Why do you think champions sometimes lose to rookie teams? Because they weren't prepared for their patterns and such! Again, I appreciate the comment, and I'll wait for your reply. But really, do watch some Knee play by typing up Tekken Crash Resurrection on the search box. I'm Korean so I understand what the commentators are saying, but even they state that Knee carries such patterns, and why he's considered to be one of the most iconic players in the series.
***** Trust me, I've seen Knee play a lot. Your comment seems very condescending, and you dont seem to know much about the game, that's why I pointed out that you made no sense. I was trying to say in a kind way, don't act like you know what you're talking about when you clearly don't. "Players don't change their patterns only because it's a new match?" Really? That's the stupidest claim I've heard of. Players ready an great amount of new patterns for different situations. Why do you think champions sometimes lose to rookie teams? Because they weren't prepared for their patterns and such! You clearly didn't understand my point. My point was a player doesn't only change patterns because it's a new match. A player can switch up his pattern at any time, so when you claimed that Knee usually gave up 2 rounds so he could read his opponents, that theory, made 0 sense, and was one of the stupidest theories I've ever heard. I've seen plenty of Knee games. And for the record, stop stating that you're korean to true to validate that you knwo what you're talking about. I'm Japanese, and I actually live in Japan and have been playing Tekken far more than you. I didnt state this in the beginning because I argue in facts, you bring these points up to validate your lack of knowledge.
jim jones Well Jim please don't allow whatever I just said to hit you in an emotional nerve because you just react all sensitive there! It's great that you're Japanese, and that you claim to "know" about the game more than I do, and that's great. Forgive me for saying this, but from going into your Google Account and seeing whatever videos you commented and what they were about, it seems quite less likely that you are Japanese, or even Asian in the matter. But still, it is the internet, so who knows right? And listen, YOU are the one who is not understanding what I'm stating right now. That's his PLAYSTYLE! He ANALYZES how the other player plays, does his patterns to make up what type of player he is and what sort of patterns are being introduced, and dominates him! Jesus was that so hard to comprehend? It's his PLAYSTYLE again, and please before you argue and say about "you didn't understand my point again," do what I just told you before, about searching up resurrection tekken crash and SEE! I'm seriously not trying to brag, and it's a great thing you know (again) a lot about Tekken then I do, but when you claim that "giving" up 2 rounds pattern that I just claimed Knee has of which Nin has stated a couple of times in commentating, is rather stupid, which is in the first place NOT because hes gathering INFORMATION about the player, I seriously think you need to watch more of Knee's playing or try to study more because I think you need to! Furthermore, just to finalize on the being Japanese thing and how you are more "exposed" in the Tekken community (I guess if that was your original intention of even stating why you were even Japanese in the first place?) then that doesn't even support whatever you were saying above. I was just claiming about a player's playstyle from statements given off by commentators who definitely know more Tekken than you will know and I've just decided to share this information with the original commentator. So if you have such a great pride in stating that you're Japanese and you happen to know more Tekken than a fellow commenter, please do because mine just went out of the window by a Japanese guy named Jim Jones LOL. Again, I apologize for commenting in a way that might have seem to be rude. I didn't mean for anything offensive, so please don't go all out on me like the last comment ^^
@isawayto your right their not both the best bryan but! their both intense player by using bryan.. if you are a bryan player..you sense it you can actually feel the intense...right?
@MrCesarThawk Actually,do to damage scaling no juggle in this game could ever take 70-80% of your life, regular combos will actually do more damage. Also there are other games were long combos cannot really be escaped from. Blazblue has very long combos that can only be escaped when the combo is dropped and MVC2 is very similar in many ways.I do agree that a counter for long juggles should be implemented, but this game is not even close to broken, and plays fine with them.
@0rcryst I didn't mean the graphics, I meant the way the characters move. It looks choppy, like they are robots, not fluid at all. The combos look ridiculous, just not natural looking. That is what I was getting at.
I'd like to say that bryan fury was a staple in the tekken franchise since tekken2 or 3 so if there is a real character its him. I think you should play new tekken 6 bryan instead of tekken4 bryan when his taunts first came around and were mad easy. Might change your opinion. If you were joking with your comment, don't do that in the fighting game community section of youtube, or stuff like this will always happen and not everyone is this nice
ACTUALLY MAN THE KNEE IS A MOVE THAT ONLY SKILLED PLAYERS CAN USE #1 ITS A 3 BUTTON INPUT #2 YOU HAVE TO CANCEL IT BY A CERTAIN AMOUNT OF FRAMES BY SIDE STEPPING AND U ALSO HAVE TO CANCEL THE SIDE STEP (WHICH IN TEKKEN HAS BEEN HARD AS SHIT SINCE T3 OR TTT I BELIEVE) AFTER U CANCEL THE SS THEN U CAN GO INTO ANY MOVE YOU WANT BUT IF U MISS THE WINDOW FRAMES BUY JUST 1 IT WONT CONNECT AT ALL AND U WILL GET PUNISHED BY A LAUNCHER!!!!! #3 JUST TOSSING IT OUT THERE WILL GET YO ASS BEAT
It was a dig on SF 4, a joke, they weren't serious when they were talking about that just like when Rich said at 2:05 mark about Mr. Naps getting 1000 points on the first hit. Loosen up.
The taunt is really slow (24 frames). Its really only a guaranteed hit after a roll-tech meaty but the community has pretty much justified not to roll-tech against Bryan. Get hit with a taunt outside of a roll-tech than its pretty much your fault for reacting too slow. And dude, give Knee at least some credit, Taunt into Jet Upper is a 1-frame link. Truthfully, the Taunt is not as scrubby as it seems. Takes time to get down timing for cancelling, and you cant just throw it out there for free.
lol juggle??, u dont have to worry about it, coz this 2 player in the video is a monster!! im a feng player, and i used him about 4 years, his my main karacter now, i already mastered my Feng from bounce to wall combo, back stance, swaying and trapping, but im telling u all especially those noob, mastering juggle alone wont make u dominating the game, coz i already mastered mine, but still, there's no way i could stand a chance against this 2, this is a high lvl of game play though
@ShiroKreuz bob and lars are way more bullshit, alisa is far from too good. she is easy to learn but she is predictable too and she doesnt have alot of safe tools to put pressure on opponents
WTH . Is up with your voice , did you ate the mic or something ? Cause I was on very low volume and I can barely hear the game but you're voice was like you're on megaphone . It was completely annoying.
"that's the first throw knee hasn't broken in five years"..lmfao
i immediately had to mute, i mean come on.
seems like he intentionally does lose-lose-win-win-win
Knee's a fucking monster
Its 2021 and never gets old
mr.naps movement has got to be the best after nins
Its 2017 this never gets old
Its 2018 this never gets old
Its 2019 this never gets old
Its 2020 this never gets old
Its 2021 this never gets old
Its 2022 this never gets old
lol knee just giving him 2 chances to win and analyze his move
watching this never gets old
ikr
this is the best tekken over-all. No character is TOO overpowered without having to fully master them.
Bryan Choose knee )
lol
But Naps never leave Bryan Fury though
8 years later, Knee wins the mirror match
Holy shit no comments about the mic quality? ARE YOU DEAF OR WHAT
the mic is clipping
it's the quality of audio being uploaded to youtube. also it was 2009 or 2010. still didn't have the best mics. especially esports was still growing at the time so maybe budget and stuff.
i thought this match would never exist but here it is! im so excited!!!
The 2018 rematch was insane!
does anyone know how to do a back 3 sway cancel to jab????
0:04
💀
Knee the comeback king!
hey buddy si just got some question...at 9:05 -9:07 mr naps(the right one^^) , has started the launch by pressing 4 (circle)...but how can he cancel b+3 so easily to continue with a normal punch....ich hope someone can give am an andvise...thank u very much
i was WAITING a long time to see this. glad Knee won.
knee done insane comebacks, like defeat is not an option for him :O
Every time I watch these videos, my butthole clinches, no joke. These matches are intense!!
I like when both guys are talking at once =D
@MistMatch heheh thnk you so much.. i hope you make tutorials on Taunt JU
It’s 2024 this never gets old
How do they make bryan talk while moving without attacking any1 kno?
@Sosozanyway 3D looks choppy and 2D doesn't? What planet are you on?
@ShiroKreuz i play both bryan and alisa, try her on high level and youll be surprised how hard it is to win with her against good payers. Not online
@mRpatatasz its all good, they are pros and they have earned my respect, enjoyed this match very much
Zoning, more space, less likely to get hit if done right?
Knee is a real tekken god
Saint,Jundding,CHANEL and others
Vitinhow :]
Can’t forget Qudans, OnlyPractice, Malgu, HelpMe, MBC, CBM and of course JDCR...!
I can go on, but, some of them are M.I.A in Tekken 7 :/
Hey 2030,i knew about collision
This has inspired me to use bryan
Knee is Bryan
Does Naps still play?
amazing match...
bryan is just too hard to learn properly... people say he is easy but its just because they do the basic combos.... but this.... this is brilliant.
I tried practicing the taunt but it needs EXTREME timing in 2 cases. 1st timing to when your oponent gets up... and 2nd to do the move just after the knee hits the enemy... if you delay even one milisecond you gonna get reeeeally fucked up....

allways wanna to see the two titan
@ShiroKreuz I think you're right - watch Tekken Crash... Knee OBLITERATES Naps completely. Looks like Knee drops plenty of rounds on purpose here and then comes back to make it interesting. Knee is too good for Naps.
@MistMatch i can do it sometimes... like 1/10 tries... the timing is hard.. coz i use psp
it takes 2 rounds for knee to observe the enemy's tactics... then he comesback.. Knee is the best.. but i love seeing naps fight too...
Thats what u call pure skill for serious
@Sosozanyway Yeah. I know what you were saying. It still makes no sense to say that exclusively about 3D fighters, when the movement in 2D is in no way more fluid.
The human who will truly defeat knee is not yet even born in this earth yet...
Hey , am from the future .. and things are kinda different now
Arslan ash is already here
how to cancel the move after b 3 f ?
at 9:10, mr. naps tried to do knee's signature lol.
Y did they retire.. theyre top 3 in the world
how did mr. naps do the move on 7:58 to 8:01 ???
@isawayto The other korean that plays bryan very well is De Ja Vu
@isawayto
I guess, it's only cus ATL doesnt have any Bryan players up there.
Tekken world is basically ATL, Korea and 1 guy in NY, maybe like 1 or 2 in Cali.
he leads first round with 2 victory and then knee came back with 3 winning rounds in a row.
@SDSOverfiend Could it be that he cant win Knee in the first place and Knee was just losing on purpose in the beginning?
One of the commentators sounds like Joe Rogan. And what are you talking about @KellysterOverdrive ?! It was a close match!
I understand your point
but his reasoning is also somewhat valid.. I play tekken with my friends and having fun socializing with other fat geeky players as well but (in my experience with them) they prefer playing tekken rather than schooling... They skip classes just to play all day which is sad.. Well its their prerogative anyways
-just my two cents
Can someone tell me which si the korea and us player is mr naps the usa 1.
Mr naps USA knee korean

But the knee is not tracking anymore in tr2 so it is a lot more rare to get hit by it
I don't know if you've found out by now but here it is anyways. They are taunting and canceling the taunt over and over again.
hwoarang used to be gdlk in ttt2 but the team up of bryan and rang showed his stuff and hey knee jerk nerfed rang into the ground
@patientcures what do you mean from nothing??!
@isawayto your right their not both the best bryan but! their both intense player by using bryan..
if you are a bryan player..you sense it you can actually feel the intense...right?
KNEE Best !!!

Can you use that Taunt Knee..
Just like that?
I bet u :D
America's best has nothing against Korea's or Japan's best. We all have a lot to learn still.
filthy is a great commentator. GOOD JOB FILTHY!
@MistMatch heheh thank you
this match is pretty epic
When I grow up I want to be either of these guys.
is it me or it seems KNEE is using some tekken 5 moves there.. or so it seems
5:33 this is why Knee is called Knee :D
3:25 Reset? Did he press backroll or something?
i love knee, but man i had to go for naps the underdog. and FAWK the first 2 matches were so close...
I'd like to say that bryan fury was a staple in the tekken franchise since tekken2 or 3 so if there is a real character its him. Meanwhile 8 years later....
What tekken was this?
Ragaa 6 BR
*A* FAV MATCH!
It was a dig on SF 4, a joke, they weren't serious when they were talking about that just like when Rich said at 2:05 mark about Mr. Naps getting 1000 points on the first hit. Loosen up.
that was a good fight! hella intense
The taunt is really slow (24 frames). Its really only a guaranteed hit after a roll-tech meaty but the community has pretty much justified not to roll-tech against Bryan. Im just guessing but it seems like knee likes to lose rounds to do awesome come backs, he does it almost allways lol.
He is
@isawayto
no2 its like this knee sunchip other koreans buriburi of japan and naps
Knee. The Best. Period.
That or he's had his ass handed to him before by a bryan user which...Isn't rare at all..Bryan is a beasty character after all, especially now in ttt2
dude, i saw rip vs nin, he was pretty free, he didnt get a single round. I know ATL can at least get some rounds against Korea.
7:39 mr knee xd
Well, at first it was only one of the players in the vid but now we have to add the commentadors...
knee owns naps every time
lol juggle??, u dont have to worry about it, coz this 2 player in the video is a monster!! im a feng player, and i used him about 4 years, his my main karacter now, i already mastered my Feng from bounce to wall combo, back stance, swaying and trapping, but im telling u all especially those noob, mastering juggle alone wont make u dominating the game, coz i already mastered mine, but still, there's no way i could stand a chance against this 2, this is a high lvl of game play though
@isawayto i think personally naps is 2nd to knee!
is knee just letting him win the first 2 rounds ?
@ShiroKreuz bob and lars are way more bullshit, alisa is far from too good. she is easy to learn but she is predictable too and she doesnt have alot of safe tools to put pressure on opponents
WTH . Is up with your voice , did you ate the mic or something ? Cause I was on very low volume and I can barely hear the game but you're voice was like you're on megaphone . It was completely annoying.
RIP headphone users.
Oh, the hype!
I miss Bryan's f+4
what is the point of walking back and forth?..
