Hey guys, out of the examples of twighlight photos you showed do you have a personal favourite 'moment'?. You're both acutely aware of the subtle changes taking place as the light changes and colours shift but out of that time does one part appeal more to you asthetically and is it the same part for you both? Also, do you adjust your camera lcd screen brightness along with the shifting ambient light to judge your exposures by eye or do you also rely on the histogram ?
Thank you, Eric, for the great information. It's interesting to study, and of course, will be handy when attempting some more precise light painting. It's always a pleasure to watch you and Kim work, too, and I can't get enough of it! Take care, and stay safe.
Awesome photography it really creative and amazing ,sir you create something new always iam impressed by watching your videos ,love from India sir .your talent in photography is really good better best . Appreciate it alot. Love from India .❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️reply sir.......
Thank you Kim and Eric, for so many important introductions and sharing your experience. Your pictures are awesome and very inspiring. The one thing I‘d wish to get even more details, is the brightness of Kim in all the pictures, without using the camera flash. Maybe you will explain it one day, please. Tres bien 😊👍🏻
heyyyy hi ::)) Yes we do have a video about that: ruclips.net/video/JhYEC3oJJeQ/видео.html ... but it's quite old and we have so many new tricks. We'll go back to that soon. Thank youuuuuuuuuu :::))
I think you've mentioned this before, but is the tube rotation duration generally constant (in the shots before you go from bulb to manual) in these examples or do you try decrease/increase to try and match your exposure time? Sorry, forget that, I was asking the question before I watched the full video :)
Thanks for this video, yesterday I was thinking about it, my wife and I tried to take some pictures on the beach, but I made a mistake, I didn't know which setting to use and besides, the beaches in NY close at the best time to shoot, and we need to go out, it was sad.
Hi I’m blown away with your work. I have a question which may already have been asked How do you light up Kim as I have sen in other vlogs of yours? Keep the vlogs coming I will eventually order some of your tubes I assume you ship to the UK
Eric, when it say 5sec or 2 sec etc. in the settings, what does that means? Does it mean that's how long you press the shutter? I'm just a newbie and following your social media accounts.
hiiiii :) it means that you go on "M" (manual) on your camera and you set a shutter speed of 5 seconds. This way, you only need to press the shutter once at the beginning of the exposure (as opposed to the "Bulb" mode where you have to maintain the shutter pressed for 5 seconds, often resulting in glitches with the wireless remote)
Great work. How do you get 3000 lumens? I am not a professional photographer, I am in my 50's and have been watching your work for a couple of years. About to begin my journey with this wonderful artistry. I have two young kids that I will incorporate in the shots for family fun times.
thanks! For this one, I used two tubes. One with a 1000 lumens flashlight, and another with 2000 lumens. But you can get very close to this by using the new FW21: lightpainting.store/flashlights Please ping me once you start posting your pictures ::))) Good luck in your new adventure
Pretty useful guidelines. Until you have really good feel for your light settings, I guess you need experiment using your guidelines..Thank you for the informative video,,,
