- my video start with PC on with breaking sound, without turning off the laptop, remove the casing and tape the spoil speaker with double sided tape and that's all as shown in the video
worked like a charm, put some black electrical tape over each loudspeaker, now the crackling is gone, nice one! thanks!
This worked like a charm, thank you so much for uploading this video. I didn't expect to find the solution to my broken speakers on RUclips!
I didn't have double sided tape at home so went with normal tape, and it's still a lot better than before.
Worked perfectly ! Thanks a lot, I can enjoy watching videos with the speaker again ! You sir are awesome !
Thanks, can't believe how much better the sound is with just a little bit of one sided tape!
Thanks! This trick fixes my speakers.
You save my life dude, thank u so much..

Thanks. This works, may I suggest attaching a piece of sponge around the dents. That worked for me.
i use Sponge but the user say not that loud
@@raymondong4973 exactly! You need to make a few holes in the middle. Anyway thank you for this hack. You saved me a lot of time!
I am amazed with this simple fix. Just did it on my t460s and the audio sounds great again. Many thanks to you.

thank you bro,, it's work..
Seems as though I am the first one to comment here. This advisory did solve my problem. In my mind the double sided tape would've been to stiff thus preventing the speakers from vibrating, so I used electrical tape. At least it works for now. Thanks for your solution. Take care and stay safe
I'm glad it help and good to know but in office, this is the only thing I have
thanks u2 stay safe
nice. work great!!!! thanks
Appreciated ❤
Thanks
Hello, can you tell me why these problems with speakers occur on T460s and T470? I have the sam problem on my T460s
the speaker is breaking off or tear that causes the noise, the tape help as shown as i only have that tape in my office but you can use other tape
@@raymondong4973 thank you, I will try to fix it .
Why do you leave the power on when opening the back cover?
don't like editing, so can see the result immediately. play safe, shutdown is the right steps
my lenovo t460s has a diffrent problem and im baffled to what it is mostly it happens while i play games or while watching youtube videos there are 3 things that happen with are the the screen turns grey or the screen turns grey and makes a error sound through the speakers or the laptop just turns off i dont know if all these are related to 1 problem tho
Hey I’m having the same issue. Why do you use so many layers of tape? Is it okay if I use one layer?
mine is a 8mm tape which it not big enough to cover the whole speaker, as long as it cover the speaker when it break, it should do the job
@@raymondong4973 hey, I did it and it worked alright for sometime but it went back to crackling, maybe due to the fact that the tape is low quality and doesn’t stick to the speaker
@@Pellude maybe double sided tape i use is soft and stick fully to the speaker that is breaking off which hold it in place that do the trick and lucky it the only thing i have in office
I used the laptop for 30 minutes no issues. Picked it up to move rooms and left speaker went out and right sounds like bumble and static. Will this fix it? Any ideas? Many many thanks 🙏
no idea if it the same or related but no harm to try
E495 same problem but not working.
I am having exact same issue , dont know what happened suddenly speaker started buzzing noises , will sure try this
if it the same problem, you should be able to see the speaker broke off as you play it
I'm having an issue with my Lenovo t460s usually when I'm playing games randomly either the screen turns off but the fan spins or it makes sounds and it turns off its like a trrrrrrrrrrr sound maybe a GPU fault I think it a GPU anyone knows what the issue is and how I can solve it .
Why has to be double sided tape?
Base on what I have in office that stick and hold it in place other tape should work I think.
my laptop was working fine yesterday, today now they are crackling for no reason, made me want to throw my laptop out the window
shit model. currently have around 50 same model with speaker issues at my workplace. I'm suprised at Lenovo
almost all the model T460s and T470s start having the speaker breaking or notice when users start to work from home
Just made mine much worse...
you can use any tape and hope you don't break it in any event of trying
