    This worked like a charm, thank you so much for uploading this video. I didn't expect to find the solution to my broken speakers on RUclips!
    I didn't have double sided tape at home so went with normal tape, and it's still a lot better than before.

    Seems as though I am the first one to comment here. This advisory did solve my problem. In my mind the double sided tape would've been to stiff thus preventing the speakers from vibrating, so I used electrical tape. At least it works for now. Thanks for your solution. Take care and stay safe

    • @raymondong4973
      @raymondong4973  3 года назад +2

      the speaker is breaking off or tear that causes the noise, the tape help as shown as i only have that tape in my office but you can use other tape

    my lenovo t460s has a diffrent problem and im baffled to what it is mostly it happens while i play games or while watching youtube videos there are 3 things that happen with are the the screen turns grey or the screen turns grey and makes a error sound through the speakers or the laptop just turns off i dont know if all these are related to 1 problem tho

    Hey I’m having the same issue. Why do you use so many layers of tape? Is it okay if I use one layer?

    • @raymondong4973
      @raymondong4973  3 года назад

      mine is a 8mm tape which it not big enough to cover the whole speaker, as long as it cover the speaker when it break, it should do the job

    • @Pellude
      @Pellude 3 года назад

      @@raymondong4973 hey, I did it and it worked alright for sometime but it went back to crackling, maybe due to the fact that the tape is low quality and doesn’t stick to the speaker

    • @raymondong4973
      @raymondong4973  3 года назад +1

      @@Pellude maybe double sided tape i use is soft and stick fully to the speaker that is breaking off which hold it in place that do the trick and lucky it the only thing i have in office
