It's still close. I once witness a wooden house burning to the ground and couldn't believe how far i had to stay away to be safe.
It always amazed me how close Rammstein is standing to all this fire all the time while performing their shows. Must be hot as hell up there.
As a theologian, i find this song very interesting and would even consider playing it in Church. They don't deny the existence of God, yet seem to be crying out to Him for all the wrong that believers/the Church has done in His name. In Church we have the liturgical ritual of "Kyrie and Glory" in which the cry out to God for the wrong in the world and the praise of His name combine. This song has that kind of vibe as well.
I'm an atheist, but that is a very interesting response. I am not going to argue with it in any way, it's rather glorious (? LOL), that you don't reject it out of hand. I love the fact that Rammstein fans do tend to be more considering and less knee-jerk in their reactions to the songs.
Jup... I see this as basically massive criticism of the catholic church, not so much Christianity in the first place and a lot of people like to argue that Christianity is not the church and the church is not Christianity. Many people can identify with Christianity but not the church.

The text is again a game of words. But that's only in German. All words begin with the prefix "ver" (Verdammen=curse, Versuchung=desire ,Verdammnis versprechen Verüben sie Verbrechen Verheißung verkünden,) a church-critical song like Hallelujah.

@@JimGames I didn't mean to teach you. I thought that it might be interesting how Lindemann's texts work. He is also an outstanding poet in Germany who also writes lyrics for other musicians. Till also likes to use words that are old-fashioned and do not go well with rock music. But that's what makes Rammsten so attractive, besides the music.
It’s all good. Half the fun of doing these videos is learning things I never would have otherwise. Almost every video I learn something new or interesting.

@@JimGames You misunderstand me. Rammstein has not released it yet. There were even photos from the video shoot and interviews with the engaged actors. It would be the first time that Rammstein shoots a video and locks it in the safe. But maybe they were simply not satisfied with the producer and the result.

As I love the fact that you are reacting to Rammstein daily, I think that maybe you're focusing way too much on the last album and the 2019 live videos, probably because of recommendations of newer fans. Don't get me wrong, both the songs of the album and the live performances are amazing, but I think you're missing some classics older songs which, being 100% honestly, are a bit better than some of the new ones. Just saying, of course it's your channel and you can react to whatever you want to. Here I left some recommendations of some songs you're missing and probably you'll enjoy:

Thank you for the recommendation and providing links! I go into these videos blind so I honestly never know what I'm going to get. Some weeks it's newer songs and some weeks it's some of the classics. I don't search out links because I'm too tempted to watch them lol. I want this channel to be as authentic as possible by showing true first impressions to music or performances. Luckily cool people like yourself greatly help me on my journey.
