    Has a racoon ever decided it liked the baby box and tried to make it her new den? And what would you do if she did?

    • @srhbluerain
      @srhbluerain 3 года назад +9

      That happened in of their videos...they came back the next day and mom was in their with the babies. I think they used one of those tools to prod mom along.

    • @WigglyYogi
      @WigglyYogi 3 года назад +4

      Very professional work, Kudos! Question, could you make the box a solution? A sturdy material den, designed so that she'd WANT to stay; babies big enough they leave, and then you can remove (or if weather permits, choose to leave for her to come back in the future).
      Then you achieve both a solution to immediate situation, maybe providing a permanent solution to this mom, plus you know you're not potentially creating a similar challenge to your neighbor.. well, more videos then ;)

    • @tundrawomansays694
      @tundrawomansays694 2 года назад +1

      @@WigglyYogi You want the box for the safety of the babies but the ultimate goal is to get them away from the house so even if the secondary site is not ideal, it’s not in the home or some other human “convenience” like a trash can or shed. The mom will relocate them, hopefully not at a neighbor’s home. As cute as they are Mon Dieu, they can cause thousands of dollars worth of damage to the homeowner’s property. Best wishes, take care. (Great question, BTW.)

You need to get an adjustable grabber pole to increase or decrease the pole length and attach a micro camera to the tip of the grabber with a light on it and then just have a wireless mini monitor outside the whole to watch what you are doing as well as eye sight and this process would be a lot easier.
