Was enjoyable to watch this game. Lots of smashing and pop-outs. Keep up the great padel content.
What's a pop out?
I think it’s the same as tap out 😄🎾
Thanks mate! I’m glad you enjoyed!
4:40 i saw that cheeky shot bro:)
6:35 this guy on the left is so good at placing the ball
The guy on the left with the Nox is good. Never seen a left side player with ability to hit so many winners without smashing
Calm and collected!
Amazing padel!
Thanks for watching, my friend! 🙏
Great game bro! Some crazy shots and points! Loving the scoreboard 😎
Thanks bro! And thanks for great feedback 🙏🎾🤩
Just came across your content and love the gameplay! I just started playing padel and want to become more competitive and was curious to how you went about improving - did you do coaching, just watch and play more, or something else? Thanks mate
Thank you! And welcome to our padel community!
- In the beginning I played at least once a week. The more you play, the more you learn. I would watch RUclips videos (Mauri from Head, The Padel School, Otro Nivel) and try to use their tips in my matches. Then I watched my matches as a way to improve.
- I had the opportunity to take a coaching session during a trip to Malaga for five days in May, and that experience was invaluable. It provided me with specific techniques to work on, and I found it incredibly useful-though I wish I could take more lessons if time and budget allowed, because I have realized how easy it is to forget what you’ve learned without consistent practice.
- I found players who are at a similar level or slightly better than me. This not only makes the matches more competitive but also exposes me to different playstyles. Playing against a variety of opponents helps me learn to adapt and adjust my game.
Hope this can help you to a great start!
Feel free to ask more questions!
Once a again thanks for visiting my channel and become a part of our padel community! Vamos!
@@thepadelguy thanks so much for the thought out reply - I will be taking in what you’ve mentioned and will make sure to subscribe!
You are welcome!
Please come back and give an update on your progress!
I find it interesting that your partner changed the racket siux electra ST to a ML10 pro cup luxury mid game which made him also change his playstyle.
@@AndreObi Sometimes he feels like Stupa, sometimes he feels like Lampertiti 😂
Would love to hear your opinion on how the games went/ overall analysis!
From the highlights....
-It seemed like the opposition played perhaps a bit to much to your partner who was more effective with the overheads.
-You guys seemed to take advantage of the opposition right players tendency to prepare more to receive on the forehand than the backhand when at the net 3:18 as an example
Hey mate!
Appreciate the comment!
Good observations!
My partner is very effective and makes few errors. As a right side player I prefer and expect my partner to step into my right side and take control whenever the opportunity is there. I am fully aware of this and try to call it early so my partner knows that I give him space.
Perhaps thats why it may look like they play to my partner even though some or their shots are intended for me 11:44.
My partner did well playing long line challenging opponents backhand.
I need to practice on playing cross to the fence. Right now I play too safe by playing to the back glass 😅
Is the guy playing on the left at the start of the vid playing with Head Extreme Pro or Motion? Also what are the differences if you know? I just ordered the Pro version!
He’s playing with Head Extreme Pro.
I’m not familiar with Head rackets but I found this thread on reddit about it www.reddit.com/r/padel/comments/1blq5z6/head_extreme_motion_vs_pro/
Great to see you're back. You inspired me to film some of my matches man!
Question; you still use you iPhone for filming? You're video's are so much higher quality than mine.. I use the iPhone 15 for filming and MovieMaker for editing... Thanks!
Very glad to hear! 🤩
Just subscribed to your channel. Keep posting!
I am still recording with the same iPhone 12 Pro. What are your camera settings?
I use 1080P / 60 BPS.
High Effiency On.
Apple ProRAW On.
@@thepadelguyI did a bit of research and Im gonna change a couple things.
- Stop filming zoomed out 0,5x.
- Switch from 1080 30 fps to 60 fps.
- And probably most important, give the lens a thorough cleaning😂
High efficiency was already on. Need to check for AppleRaw.
Thanks mate
Nice mate! Looking forward to your next video 😎
One more tip.
I always have a cloth in my bag to clean the glass before I record 😆
Ur partner has accurate ball placement
@@HoneyTitanHe is a very good player! Played squash before switching to padel.
Where are you guys living; good content.👍
Copenhagen, Denmark!
What level are you guys?
We have our own level scale in Denmark.
I would say 3.5-3.9 Playtomic.
Which scale are you using?
If you are the one in white, stop changing the ball to the other player every single hit, focus on pressing one player!
Haha that’s me!
My conscience tells me not to freeze the other player because I know how it feels to be in the fridge. Especially when we’re friends playing for fun.
But I do agree with you that I need to put pressure on one player if we want to finish the point 😅
This would usually be good advice, but when facing a leftie you want to pressure the corners as much as possible. The middle is poison (two forehands there) so you will naturally have to switch players more often.
Amazing content! Just wanted to say that you inspired me to start creating as well! If you are ever in Serbia, drop me a msg, would love to play with you! :)
Thank you so much for your kind words! I’m really grateful to hear that my content inspired you to start creating - that means a lot to me.
I would love to connect and play if I happened to be in Serbia someday! Appreciate the support! 🙏😊
I subscribed! Keep it up! 🥎
the game is a bit on slowmo????
I think it seems a bit slower on video because of fps.
But also because 3/4 players in this match are control players who lack power and speed 😅
My gameplan in most of my matches is to take off the tempo and make the game slower because I lack power and stamina.
Fast game means I use more energy and get tired too fast which leads to me making more mistakes 😅
2:50 violation? u went over the net
Opponent hit the ball before net. Its just difficult to see because of camera angle 😊
