Love this style of video! Proper original content around squash, not just highlights and old matches. This how we grow the sport! Bit by bit, every helps. Keep this up PSA!! 🔥
Great video from the PSA, awesome to see the perspective of what we would be like - constantly stuck behind in the corners! Could you do the same thing with increasing squash levels? Maybe a 10K next time
This is awesome. The quality of the length is incredible. Ali looks like he has all the time in the world to execute his shots and he makes the court look small. Amazing to watch. Great work.
Love this! 2647 isnt nothing either, that would be enough to get on the team and some smaller clubs! I would probably struggle to even get the serve back!
@@generalgrevious2712 Its a ranking from the Squash levels website, I thought everyone used it! If you are bad your rank will be about 150. Then 1500 is respectable, 15,000 you are probably the coach at your local club and if its 79,000 you are Ali Farag.
Most notable thing to me was the on court view of the length. The ball is so consistently dying within a foot of the back wall. I’m a better mover than this lad, and would have liked to see him try some different stuff - mix pace, use some height, etc. But hard to argue I would have done much better in the end. Retrieved a few more and extended the torture but that’s about it I suspect. I’ve played guys around 200 in the world rankings, and kept it respectable, taken an occasional game. But the precision of Ali’s shots is on another level.
Interesting to see how Ali using his left hand would work out. Due to athletic skill, court savvy, and conditioning; I believe it would still be one-sided.
I think I could sometimes return the serve but then its game over. Unless he wants to exercise me in which case there is always a chance of a boost nick! Imagine " I once got a point of off Ali Farag.". Something to tell me grandkids about. And they would yawn. (I slipped there and wrote "Aki Farag" in error, then recalled I once met John Aki Bua... more grandkid yawnings🤗)
Ali Farag just seems to dominate the T-position forever.🤣😂 Realistically, a dead nick shot is how an Amateur could get a point or two from a Pro like Farag.😂
so many training tips Ellis can get from this, slow back to t, not always watching ball, falling on heels not onto toes to split step, always chasing ball as not in correct position when Faraq hits ball, loses a lot back of court digging out balls with bad shots, doesnt always hit through the ball even when not under pressure, guess that why Faraq is a pro and we are not! Good try though..
Just viewing his play, I'd guess a 4.6. Probably wouldn't beat any 5 players with that movement, but doubtful he'd lose to any 4 players with his racquet skills. A good mid-level club player!
I thought the operatic music was a humorous, tongue-in-cheek touch. Classic! You could’ve just turned it down and not made an aggro comment…. Have a great day.
It is that hard. That was the entire point of them making this video??? To demonstrate how different the level is. You are probably the kind of guy who tells Ali he needs to work on his drives and his now realising how unaware you really were.
Biggest difference is the precision, retrieval abilities, disruptive timing, deception, defensive shots, number of attack options you'd have to cover, the fact these guys don't get nearly as tired as you do. Other than that it's easy, yeah (:
Im a 4.8 and this weekend I played Alexander dartnell and now I understand what this feels like. You can’t attack because everything is neutralized, and their length consistently forces you to boast.
Not quite as easy as it looks! 👀 Make sure to Subscribe to SQUASHTV - plenty more squash content on the horizon! 🔥

*That was brilliant.* Lots more of these please Squash TV !
Brilliant video, more of this please

What does that level mean? I only know the US squash ratings like 6.0, 4.0

Loved this; it's great to see how we'd fare against Ali!
You made him go to a back wall a few times. Well done!
7:11 that music in the background 😂 like add insult to injury.
This is good.POV really shows how accurate he plays.
Playing farag is like trying to score on a robokeeper at the carnival. Absolutely futile

Great video! Would be good if the different views were also uploaded seperatly so we could watch them full screen.
5:20 clear footfault by Farag!
Yeah he's useless.
Surely has to be a conduct match against Farag 😤
Count all the foot faults on serve from Ali and the score becomes quite even. 😄
Great content!
We all knew Ali wouldn't triple bagel you. He's FAR too nice and humble a guy for that!
That last Ali comment though……..😂 suck a great ambassador for the sport. Thanks for posting the content.
Picture quality is great but not a fan of split screen
Mr Ellis would’ve won without the glasses impeding him 👀 😂
Ali’s serves are lethal
and some of them illegals lol
Interesting to see how Ali using his left hand would work out. Due to athletic skill, court savvy, and conditioning; I believe it would still be one-sided.
Please next time keep it simple....just the traditional rear cam view would have worked much better.....no motion sickness involved then...:-)
Excellent. There are levels!!!
Awesome video!
How to apply to play against Ali Farag without being in a championship? 😊

Like every rail applies so much pressure
Ali Farag just seems to dominate the T-position forever.🤣😂

Nice video, think the cameras were a bit much and probably next time go for at least 5k. Surely 11-1 you’ll get 10% on squash levels for that 🤣🤣
What is it? Glasses. Its good for video recording

In 3 sets, i was expecting one tight length at least lol
Or a high length to bring Farag back.
You just can’t get in front of him
Foot faults
One point!
What US squash rating is a 2647?

great vid but no loud music next time...had to leave
I thought the operatic music was a humorous, tongue-in-cheek touch. Classic!

Have a great day.
@ it was louder than the commentary … and the choice irritating.
So complex image
Sack who ever put this music on...ruined the video
Guys level could be a bit better. It was painful to watch
Thats the entire point, he is a good level for a club player.
Give Ali some a good amateur player. This plump guy is like a 4-year-old to him. It's not even fun to watch.
So irritating to watch!
I play better than him
What is this music all about??? A great video idea ruined. Please edit without Benny Hill music.
It can't be that hard. Try to play at least a rally.
It is that hard. That was the entire point of them making this video??? To demonstrate how different the level is. You are probably the kind of guy who tells Ali he needs to work on his drives and his now realising how unaware you really were.
Deluded
@johansteenkamp4027 Your SquashLevels is 1858 you're literally 700 lower than the guy in the video bozo 😂😂
