Moving with my family and no we don’t have a lot saved up. Life too short to be miserable in Ohio. I’m giving my kids more life. Me and my husband will figure it out when we get there.
Do you have one on schools? I have artsy kids in performing arts school and would want to secure their spots in a comparable school before purchasing..
Wow! Phenomenal tour. Thank you for sharing! From Sun Fest to the Int'l Boat Show to Moon Fest & a Bright Line train ride to Miami & Ft. Lauderdale, along with the Wishing Tree & Clematis Street & Improv Comedy Club - damn! I feel like my knowledgebase of West Palm Beach just went from 0 to expert in 11:11. Thank you again! Excellent insight! Cheers!
I live in Michigan and have my whole life. I've been wanting to move for awhile but the past year happened. I currently have about 7k saved up and thought on it for a year and decided on the West Palm Beach area to move. I have a friend who moved there about 5 years back and he loves it. I do think on how much I'd miss my family but I can't let that hold me back and they're supportive of whatever I wish to do. I'm not sure what I would do for work as I don't have a degree in anything and currently do cleaning just as a means to save as much as I can. I have thought about getting into real estate. My friend said there's jobs everywhere and even though you pay more in rent/mortgage, you make more and also don't have state income tax. My problem is I can be very indecisive and I second guess myself a lot. Is this common for people who move? Especially if it's out of state? I'd be over 1,000 miles away from home and only a few people there that I know so I get anxious thinking about it. But also very excited. My uncle is planning a trip down there Labor Day weekend so gonna try and go down and get a feel for it because I haven't been to FL since 11th grade and I'm 30 now lol. Any advice to not psych myself out? I appreciate these types of videos because it gives me more insight as I don't wanna go in blind to all of this but part of me thinks I just have to do it and not think on it too much. I can always make trips to see my family and vice versa. I do worry a bit about if jobs don't work out and end being homeless or something but that could happen anywhere. It's just being so far away and that feeling of not having anyone near to help is somewhat terrifying to think about. Sorry for the long post but it's a big move making a move like that. Thanks!
Thanks so much! Nice video and very good info. I like these two cities: Sarasota and West Palm Beach ; Both are beautiful, but feel i will choose WPB. It is a bit smaller than Sarasota, but i like it more.
You're welcome! Glad you found it helpful! Sarasota is definitely a different vibe but just depends on your lifestyle and needs. When are you moving to West Palm Beach Florida?

Thank you for this video! Moving back in September! Its changed a lot over the last few years!
Great video! Thanks. Thinking of moving to Florida soon. Trying to decide between West Palm and Ft. Lauderdale.
I prefer Hallandale beach Florida more beautiful beaches and restaurants and growing businesses and communities and good nightlife.

@@wheretoliveinwestpalmbeach7677 Maybe in a year or year and a half, when i retire.
@@JERios-wv8lx Awesome and congrats on your upcoming retirement!
You mentioned $1500/m. for condo 1B, are these condos in Concrete construction or wood where you can hear all your neighbors ?
What a great tour! I hope to live in a nearby area in a few years.
Unless costs keep spiraling! Can't move without a plan.
We're coming!😍🤞
I can't wait to get out of Michigan! But gotta save a bit more and take a trip down there first to get a feel before fully commiting to it lol.
