Nothing wrong with removing the headrest from your office chair but removing them from your car seats is not a good idea. Think about what happens to your head and neck when you get rear-ended. Maybe reconsider this decision.
This so much , i live in France , and there's a reason why removing the headrest in a car is a finable offense , it's not only dangerous for you , but also for the passenger behind , rear-ended collision you could break your neck , and front-ended collision , the passenger directly behind risk striking their head into yours , potentially injuring both the driver and the passenger , or worse , killing both
I've been running low backs for years. Started with pre 66 VWs and have always liked them. It opens your interior space up. I don't spend much time worried about the safety aspect.
@@CyberCPU just because you’ve been doing something dumb for years and haven’t yet faced the consequences is not a valid reason to keep doing it. You, and most importantly your loved ones, are significantly safer with a car seat head rest
@@jakepotter5962 As someone who has run dead into something, head on, at about 50-60 mph, You should be more worried about that steering wheel and the air bag NOT going off when it is supposed to. Thats a much greater risk. My broken nose can attest to that.
I agree there is a tremendous difference between two digit and three digit cost office chairs, but there is an upper limit as well. My $200-ish chair at home is great and far better than any cheaper chair I've owned; my four figure chair (yes, seriously) at my work is not demonstrably better than my $200-ish chair, though.
Yep! I am currently looking for a nice oversized chair to replace my cheap racing chair....there is a huge difference. After my auto accident, I need more lumbar support and adjustment options. Thanks for sharing, buddy!
The problem with expensive office chair is that so many of them are in fact cheap chairs made to look expensive- they all seem to use the same bottom frame\ lift strut. If it hasn't started listing to one side after 6 months it might be a good one.
Nobody ever talk about the dangers in officerooms, headrests have a reason to be, you can collide a collegue during an armchair race in a corridor, i.e.

Hate to tell you this, but the price for that SIHOO is actually rather cheap for a good offiice chair. Prices can easily track up to the $1000 mark for the good ones. You're right, though, a good office chair is worth every penny.
Good Morning, Buddy, I am new to your channel, but since I joined, I have watched over 70% of your videos, and really appreciate the way your present the problems and resolve them, the presentation on IT issues is very important and it is make-or-break for the Channel. Your is 100% and goes straight to the grey matter in the brain 🙂 I wish to build myself a Virtual machine on my Windows 10 PC, this is in order to test all software and presentation you offer us all. There are many on RUclips on how to do that, I am sure they are all great but would appreciate it if you would consider producing a good video for all your subscribers, in the good way you always do. Please !!
Some wallpapers are quite busy and make it difficult to clearly see some desktop icons. One "tweak" that I would like is to lower the transparency level so when pressing CTRL+A (select all) the background is darker, making the icons easier to read.
I completely agree.. I also build computers, I for years used tall barstool height chairs, They are quite comfy.. After a move and anew shop, I bought several 8 foot (long) plastic foldable tables from Sam's Club (I got them at the time for very cheap cause they were discontinuing that style(they are perfect for my need)) Then I bought a office chair there too It was on clearance for $175.00 (from $325.00) Best money I ever spent on a chair, I am a big & very tall person and it works perfect.. But just like anything else, you get what you pay for.. Cheap office chairs are junk, I have bought dozens over the years.. Just as having a good computer, you need a comfortable place to sit if you are sitting down for hours.. Also, you need to have the height adjusted correct, sitting to low & too high makes your back & legs hurt (a lot) Thank you for sharing and bringing to attention for having a comfortable chair.. Also you should do a video on proper lighting.. I haven't seen anyone really address the need for the right lighting for the job.. again thank you for sharing.. I very much enjoyed it.. (Sorry I babbled on so long)
Having been in a rear-end collision in my car, I can attest to the effectiveness of the headrests in a 2001 Toyota Prius. I would’ve been in a world of hurt had I removed my headrests in that situation. I like your new office chair; I’ve never owned one as fine as that one. Please enjoy many comfortable years in your new chair!
I got hit pretty hard in the back of my Bronco several years ago. Didn't to any damage to my truck but really messed up the other car. I was at a stop and was hit by a teenager who wasn't paying attention going about 45. Luckily 1/4" plate takes a lot of abuse but the front end of a Mazda Miata definitely wasn't as lucky. I didn't have headrests and did fine. Moved my vehicle into the intersection pretty violently but I was fine.
Headrest in your car is not to rest your head as the name might imply - it is a misnomer. The headrest in your car is to protect you from severe injury (paralysis!) in a car accident, particularly being rear-ended. Put those headrests back in your care immediately!
I have a Vertagear gaming chair I got about 2 or 3 yrs ago. I had to replace the gas lift, added an aftermarket lumbar cushion, and will be adding a set of rollerblade style wheels so it doesn't destroy my carpet. The secret to any standard gaming chair is not one of them are bought for comfort. We buy them because they look nice, and so we can flex them on streams, and videos. Brands like DX Racer have become synonymous with these bucket seat style chairs, but haven't really innovated beyond what they started out as. Razer has a few decent ones, Corsair has one that I've seen a few reviews of, and looks like it has a lot of comfort options, and Asus is getting ready to drop one that looks like it'd be suitable for Jesus to game on, lol. If you think $300 is expensive for a chair, (like any sane person would), you should look into Herman Miller. There's start off in the $400 price range, and go up to $1200 +. My ass simply isn't worth that much. Pain builds character! 😂
Too combat the hard armrests you could get something like the Aloudy Armrest covers. I have them and they're great. They have a 9 inch and 11 inch model depending on the size of your chairs armrests.
I bought a X-chair over a year ago. They are better then the cheapest ones, lots more adjustment options. But are they worth 3-6x more then the cheap ones? Not so much. Every chair I've bought both cheap and expensive, the arms start to disintegrate first, including this X-chair. Being able to choose the angle of the seat and width of the arm distance is very nice.
I went on Amazon and found a chair that was $100 bucks but half off for $50 Bucks it was like 80 bucks with shipping and tax.. But it's better than the last one Bigger and slightly more comfortable. But I might spend one day a week sitting there...
If you sit at your dest for long periods sit on a Steelcase V2 for a while and that Shioo will feel like a crappy cheap chair like the Wallmart one when you go back.
Your not kidding I got myself a 90 Buck gaming chair and after a couple of hours my butt was killing me My latest chair cost me 280 Bucks and I fitted it with a custom gas lift that can handle 200Kg for 38 Bucks and 5 RGB wheels that can handle 50Kg each (250Kg total) for 30 bucks ... So total that's 348€/$ and I can stay about 8 hours on it before I get Butt starts hurting
If you spend a lot of time in your computer chair, it only pays to get a nice and comfortable chair. I bought a $200 Executive Chair at Sam's Club back in 2021
I don't. I used to film in my shop ory dinning room. When I filmed in my shop it was a nightmare trying to keep everything clean so I could film and at the same time be able to actually do my job.
