Delta Surplus Sale

- Every second Friday of the month, Aviation Enthusiasts descend on a shed next door to the Delta Flight Museum in Atlanta, Georgia. There, they comb through piles of aviation-related goodies. Everything from new blankets to old plates, it's all here. Perhaps nothing's more impressive than the airplane seats, though. I picked up some of my own. I also got a bunch of other cool stuff we'll check out.
This video also features an interview with Judy Bean who manages the Delta Surplus sale. She'll give you the ins-and-outs and will explain how you can take advantage of this interesting quirk of Delta Air Lines. You'll also find out how the Delta Surplus Sale benefits the Delta Flight Museum.

One brother - aircraft, the other one - cars
What a classic 😊
"30 years of farts!" Classic!
I wondered what it must be like to have a brother, now I know!
Huh,I Immagine A Bunk bed where's Jeb Is At The Top Bed And Randomly at 1:23:45 Am Jeb Starts Farting
At least they were 1st class farts. Nothing like a classy fart! 🤣
Lol, best comment ever!
I've been watching Jeb's channel for a few years and that might be the best one liner I've heard yet!
I did a very short internship at the Delta Flight Museum back in 2016. It was a great experience!
I'm jealous. I've been hoping to get down there for a sale. Love the seats. Will is funny!
I’ve heard about this sale that happens, but have never seen it. Good to finally see it, I did picture it in my head a little different tho. :)
Atlanta Renaissance: Exists with amazing views of Harts-field - Jackson airport.
Me: Have you heard of the TWA airport in New York City?
I just discovered your channel last week and have watched about 20 videos. You were more excited about the Delta surplus than any airplane experience I have seen. You seem like a good guy and look forward to more videos and adventures.
Will definitely have to check out this sale soon. Now I want some airport and route maps! Great Video as always!
I was just at the Renaissance Hotel two weeks ago. Went there just to watch planes. Had a balcony room and it was amazing!
In regards to the video about the hotels, definitely make that. Would love to see it!
I've been to the Delta aircraft sale - - very cool! No seats purchased but I did get some cool Delta One pajamas!
Road trip with big brother, that's cool. His comment about the seats, I died laughing. Glad you purchased some neat Delta collectibles.
For plane spotting hotels, the FRA airside transit hotel has got to be on your list somewhere I think!
Great video! I didn’t know Delta did that! A great hotel for spotting is the Intercontinental at MSP. It opened last year and sits between the parallels 30L/R 12L/R. Great views of all the action! You can legit sit in the bathtub in your room relaxing while taking in the views of the runway. Plus there’s a nice bar at the top of the hotel if you room isn’t the highest up. Keep it up 👍🏽
hyatt at SFO is pretty good, with nice views
Awesome. You hit the jackpot with the playing cards.
I love the Grand Hyatt hotel at DFW. Normally you don’t get a ton of great spotting at DFW (just a bunch of domestic AA aircraft) but there, you get nice views of Terminal D with all the arriving and departing int’l aircraft.
I'm just trying to work out how to get some of those seats back to Australian in my check-in luggage! Really fun video! cheers D
Manually take out the economy seat (if your not flying business or first) that you were originally in for the flight and replace it with a lie flat delta seat.
Yes please! Definitely want a video on the airport hotels!!!
For plane spotting hotels check out the Grand Hyatt at DFW or the Hyatt regency at MCO!
Cool stuff Jeb !!!!!!💯
Thanks for sharing. Nice video.
Yes! I made it into the video 5:58 !
I'm a fan of all your videos! May I suggest touring and interviewing people that have aviation themed collections. I think it would be a huge hit as there are soooo many avgeeks out here. Blue skies to you!
I love ur vids very well put together I will probably never go on most of these flights but it is very entertaining

Jeb: These seats are so cool right Will?🥳🤩🤪
Will: 30 YEARS OF FARTS! 💨 😆😒🤢
Omg that place is heaven 😍 I want all of it!
New to the channel and saw this video. One of my favorite plane spotting hotels is the Hilton Garden Inn in Oshkosh, WI, where you can see numerous warbirds from your window. If you fly your own plane, you can park right outside the hotel.
Great video!
Jeb I'm from ATL and I've never been! 😱 Will be going soon thanks to you 😊
As a service dog trainer those seats would be really helpful for training!
North American Airlines was one of the best airline I have ever travel with
The Westin At DTW Concourse A Has A Great View Of The Tarmac!
Yes! Do a vid on hotels at airports! also do you have a full review of the Atlanta Renaissance Concourse?
Nice, I had a buddy in ATL pick me up a nice set of A320 first class seats from United. They were literally just going to crush them.
Renaissance London Heathrow is great for spotting
Come to the Qantas Museum in Longreach, Queensland Australia!
Best hotel for spotting is Moxy by Marriott LHR. View down the runway from 2nd floor or higher and the planes fly over the hotel to land. Also you can see the BA engineering hangar and run up pen.
Very funny video Jeb...loved it !! Where do you keep all this crap ...er sorry treasure ?? Well done as always mate !!
As an employee who deals with multiple Delta and United flights out of Kalispell, it would be an honor to meet you one day on one of my flights, Jeb!
For airport hotels, either the Renaissance or Hilton Garden at Heathrow. Both provide great views of the action. :) And, if you're there on the right day, you might bump into Jerry, of Big Jet TV fame. :)
Re hotels for plane spotting...Rydges at Sydney airport and the Hilton at Heathrow spring to mind..and of course TWA at JFK !!
I wanna go now !!!!!
hi jeb the renaissance or Hilton hotels are worth a look if visiting heathrow ,keep up the good work
wow cool brothers! i had to subscribe being an avid car nut myself.
since i am minor shareholder ! delta does a good job! only flew them once from ny to las vagus ! on there song plane !
I think depending on where you are in the hotel, I recall the Long Beach, CA Airport Marriott had some good views.
I would love to get a pack of some ticket holders (a.k.a. ticket jackets), but preferably with the post-2007 branding so it doesn't look too outdated next to my current boarding passes.

I’m so glad you enjoyed Atlanta Jeb!!!
Parkroyal Melbourne Airport Australia ( but it isn’t ultra close) and I was amazed by how much I saw from The Westin LAX and Rydges Sydney International Airport is right at the terminal. TWA Hotel JFK would be the ultimate.
LAX Marriott is fairly good as well as the Long Beach Marriott if you are on the right side of the hotel for plane spotting.
The Hilton at Chicago O'Hare is another great hotel for planespotting
That 747-400 should be in NW colors and in MSP! But as for spotting hotels, I’d suggest the Fairmont at YVR and the Hilton at BHX.
Do they sell any of the old economy or comfort+ seats from the 767-400? Maybe they can be converted into desk-chairs.
Another great video, with, as always, a tremendous sense of fun.
I do not fly regularly or often, but the last time I flew from Heathrow we stayed at Thistle Hotel terminal 5 by the business Car Park. I am sure there are many more luxurious and plush hotels, but the view from the restaurant and bar, and the outside terrace, directly parallel to the runway is fantastic. The noise is good too! You can also use the driverless pods to get into the airport which the whole family enjoyed.
Love this newer vlog style of videos!
Now that’s Brotherly love! AV GEEK/CAR GEEK! Lol
Have you been to the new New Orleans International Airport? I hear it is so consumer friendly.
Like#471 What a cool video Jeb. We’re gonna have to check that place out someday. I don’t think I would like those prototype seats very much. One man’s trash is a other man’s treasure. So true. Nice video Jeb. Thank you.
North American Airlines is a charter. I flew them on my way home from Afghanistan via Kyrgyzstan to BWI 🇺🇸 in 2010 ...ahh the freedom bird!
Those seats are incredible! I saw them yesterday in the how to make a trip report and I was wondering if you were going to make a video on them today. You own part of an airplane now! How exciting! Have a great day man!
Nice
Do I smell a contest or giveaway with a pack of those cards?
Or perhaps those 30 years of farts?
Jeb, Did you happen to see any TWA seats? I was just wondering since Delta purchased some of TWA's 757's.
7:02 “Munich, West Germany”
I once bought a propeller blade from a Viscount at an antique/junk shop in Montreal, and the cabbie who took me home asked why. I told him it was an Xmas gift for my wife. "Then, I'll wait for you after I drop you off," he said. My turn to ask why. "Because," he said, "you're gonna need a ride to Emergency."
Hi Jeb, What a great idea to recycle remainder aircraft items for aviation freaks to enjoy at bargain prices. I wish other major airlines would follow suit. I realise that Qantas probably does not need the extra revenue, but others? Would it be possible to have the Delta ‘ shopping list’ as an attachment to your presentation ( for others to follow) Really interesting video! Any future travel plans with Qatar ?( probably a long way from home)
Great content! Thanks for sharing this hidden gem of a shop. 👍
I love those Delta apparel/souvenirs, but I can't wait for the United Boeing 787 Dreamliner! Jeb, did you know that Delta retired their 1st 11 Air France A380's?
I would love to buy seats. Would just need to know the tail # of the plane they came from though.
Fantastic pickups and I need to visit that DAL equipment sale some time!
Jeb I need to go souvenir shopping with you one day
Your brother seems like a very funny person. Good job.
This is so cool......I wish they did this in additional locations besides Atlanta! Thanks for sharing your experience!
The TWA Hotel at JFK. That would be a great place for plane spotting.
Great video ! Enjoy watching so much. Was hoping we could see what the playing cards looked like lol
Nice!! I would love to go to one of these! It would be awesome!
Now everybody is going to know about this. Its already crowded. I am jealous of the playing cards. I collect them (unopened Braniff, Piedmont, Southern, and North Central). I have never seen cards there. I will be at the next one a week from tomorrow (since I live in ATL). Also, the collectable cards are more valuable unopened (the packs not the big box)
where are you using the plane seats now?
HOW MUCH WAS. THE SEAT (S) ?
Should have said that right away and didn't.
Enjoyed the video on the Jet bus.
Can you live stream to RUclips on it ?
The TWA Hotel in NY; you can have drinks on the roof!
For the 12 packs of North American Airlines playing cards, you should keep the packs you want to keep, and you should sell the rest!😃
You really should try the TWA Hotel at JFK airport. It’s amazing it is on terminal 4.
I wish I could go there, but I’m in Wales.
How much were the seats?
Amazing video
Price of the seats?
Oh, I wish I could have an EMIRATES first class carpet...
You have made once more a very interesting video - Thank you, Jeb, for sharing your video with us.
Great video again Mr Brooks!
Will we see seats coming in this sale from retired 777s?
Grand sierra resort in Reno has epic views of entire airport! Great finds man!
I think I’ve heard of a hotel that has windows that literally looks right out onto the active runway
How much whete the seats
Great video Jeb!
Can you do another one of these?!?
My cousin managed to get the spinner from an McDonald Douglas MD80
I went there and got a first class blanket, 2 t-shirts, and a bracelet.
I saw these on eBay. I wasn’t going to drive to Dallas for some seats, though.
You think I regret that now?
hmmmmmmmmmmm....
you do, right?
Can you fly Air Greenland Business class?
Do they ship to Tokyo? Haha
How about the Tokyu Hotel Haneda ... You can see ANA Star Wars fleet!
