I'm in Europe. Since the Share&Save program appeared, I have distinguished between two types of sales. Organic and from the S&S program.
Just half a year ago, 80% of all my sales were to the US, now sales from S&S are still mainly to the US (because I advertise outside Etsy to these customers), but organic is maybe 20%.
And of course organic is alarmingly low. A drop of about 70% because my type of products is not as popular in Europe as in the US.
The last weeks have been downright dramatic.
Localization is a bi*ch!

My 2 oldest sons are working at Jamestown 4H Camp in Virginia for the summer. They arrived last week from here in Scotland and are absolutely loving the heat and humidity as its been a wet cold summer so far here 😎.
Oh gross, they'll find out that this is only the beginning haha! It's so nice relatively right now, but it gets miserable. If they're doing things ont he water then it won't be as bad, though, that's a little bit of relief!

Etsy glitch - alt text on every photo on every listing gone. Found out by chance when editing one of my photos
Another Etsy glitch - I can't link photos in variations using the new form and old forms were taken away in the UK 10 days ago. Old listings have photos linked but not the new listings

Always something valuesble from you I appreciate any advice. I was just knocked off my tuffet when I was thinking of refreshing photos and saw the second photo was replaced by …this item has no video yet request a video… WTH
How to even begin and I immediately saw punishment coming.
Then I discovered that is many many items 2nd photo .
I don’t know what to do.
I'm not seeing that, can you send me a screenshot on Etsy messages?
I was telling my husband about it and was really upset by it. It was other sellers as well ones who had items on my home page
And now 2 hours later that second photo saying this item dies not have a video yet request one !!!!
Gone and on the other sellers items gone too.

@@taffniebogart4232 ust be a test or something they're thinking about adding. There's no video requirement, but it does factor into the listing quality score.

Etsy is done for me . I still love your videos but I gave up on my Etsy shop sadly .
Unfortunately, you're not alone. I know other people who ahve decided to close their shops completely.
Apple Pay can cause the same issue with customer's addresses. I had a customer who gave me a one star review as her Apple Pay was in her old address and she said it was my fault as I should message every customer to ask if they have put down the correct address before I send anything (her exact words!). I have almost 8000 sales on Etsy - can you imagine how long that would take! I have to assume that customers know their own address!

I have a long time vintage shop on etsy but have never run their ads. It's bad enough being forced into the off-site ads program, so etsy is getting more $$ one way or the other.
The offise ads drive me nuts.
Wow! 7000 free lostings would keep items in my shop for 5 years even if nothing ever sold
Exactly, so I don't feel bad wasting some money on ads to test them out.
Their tech support stinks to high heaven!! I got someone that took 15 minutes to verify me and I couldn't understand her. Think they are farming it out to international company. They never are able to answer my questions and tell me someone will contact me by email and those emails never come.
It does stink for sure!
I’ve had VERY minimal visits this past week. Horrible. Today has 3 views and yesterday 5 views. WTH is going on???

It's slow for a lot of people this week. Holiday weekend, bad economy, Etsy glitches, etc etc.
Maybe you haven’t seen the CNN news report on Etsy?
I did, but that's nothing new. People have been bitching about Etsy in the news on anf off for a few years.
