    I've got the T25 and I'm amazed by how much weight I can lift. Use it mainly for maintaining my woods and the size of logs I can move is absolutely amazing. Had it just over a year and right at 120 hours. No issues whatsoever. I like the features on the T25 better than the 2515. I like seeing all the love for TYM over the past year or 2.

Is there anyway through your outreach we could get a video of the 2515h pulling a 60” ish flail or maybe a 72”? Tall grass, 1” ish saplings, 1” brush. Maybe even a side shifting flail or a ditch bank flail would be great.

      If you want to just mow grass the 72" but if you are gonna go out and try mowing down saplings with the flail get the smaller one. A flail mower uses less HP than other types of cutters, so your tractor would handle the 60" no problem for mowing grass and saplings....it would handle the 72" but might struggle once you get into the saplings.

    Some manufacturers (e.g. Branson) do not fit DPF filters in tractors with engines larger than 25 hp. Instead, there are systems that periodically increase the engine speed to burn off the remaining contaminants. If you work with hardwood and do not yet have a tractor, it is worth looking around for such larger tractors with 40 hp engines.

    • @RockhillfarmYT
      @RockhillfarmYT  4 месяца назад +3

      I have covered that topic in the past. To my knowledge, the only manufacturer that currently doesn’t put the DPF filter in is Mahindra.

New Holland, John Deere, and Kubota are the most common dealers in my area....shortly after I bought my tractor, a Massey dealer opened up in the area as well....a TYM dealer recently as well now. So they are expanding but the TYM dealer isn't just TYM...it seems like many of the TYM dealers are multi-brand dealers, which there's nothing wrong with that idea, it kind of makes it an easier way to compare brands when one dealer has several brands on the lot....but I wonder how well the sales team is as far as knowledge on all the stuff they have, VS a dealer that maybe only has 1 brand, or a couple.

      Can you give me one thing you are basing that on? I’ve done reviews of Yanmar. I think they are a top brand. As a matter fact, I specifically ranked my top five brands in a different video and I put them in the top 5
      However they definitively don’t have a machine that competes with the 2515. They don’t have anything in that price range with near the capabilities. They don’t have anything in the horsepower range that competes with these capabilities
      Actually, overall they are one of the most expensive tractors.
      They are also really lacking in the dealer network and they don’t show a real commitment to the US market long-term

    • @johnserrano9689
      @johnserrano9689 2 месяца назад

      @RockhillfarmYT huh where abouts are you located man, sounds like your dealers are amping up the prices, just like deere and Kubota.
      I know how I may have come off sounding, but I grew up on a farm with internationals, Allis Chalmers with deeres aswell as case rolling around so I'm not biased at all. Hell my own personal dream pick is what I have today amd she's an 88' 1050 as I said earlier, built to spec by yanmar for john deeres north American market. She came through with bigger bore, much better cooling, 2 stage clutch aswell as massively beefed up clutch, turbo and everything is simply way overbuilt yet simple I can legitimately replace the fckn sleeves out in the woods god forbid lol
      However you go look at the current yanmar north American market tractors of 2024. They speak for themselves nvmd my opinion, their raw power will leave you speechless, with the incredible hydraulic control and smoothness of a dam Kubota. Their axles, frames are the best steel and massive. They normally outweigh competitor's. And they're still built where you or I can easily service AND REPAIR if needed. Even diehard Kubota fan boys admit yanmar diesels are the diesel (tied of corse for bota boys lol)
      Which leaves 1 single weak link, they have the most advanced tractors in their lineup. For you to understand just good yanmars most advanced tractor, it'll leave your jaw on the floor, right their with your empty wallet. So I agree they absolutely do sell some very expensive tractors, but their bread an butter are the simple manual tranny tractors obviously with shuttle shift we all clamor for which are maybe 1500 bucks more than the cheapest of the cheap tractors. That's fckng insane for us to finally have yanmar back fullbore for us with a growing model lineup, properly priced. Built to the best modern standards incorporating the best of yesterday mixed with cutting edge manufacturing so the finally product can be simpler for you and I
      Again the Achilles heel is that it possible your local dealer is a thief and sells say their 25hp tractor for 30k when my local dealer sells the same dam thing for 23k....but that's all the brands, I fully believe you know full well the tractor is only half the equation when buying new, the dealer is the other half....they have to be honest upfront and there for YOU when needed in a realistic manner aswell as any other support you may ever need, after all that's the ONLY reason they exist, you're doing them a favor by choosing to purchase through them so they can take a slice outta that massive lump of cash you handed over

    • @johnserrano9689
      @johnserrano9689 2 месяца назад

      @RockhillfarmYT I forgot also man in the most respectful way possible you're wrong about yanmars commitment and dealers, they only re-entered a couple years ago lol
      Yanmars the best thing that can happen for you and I as they're the only maker who can actually beat deere and botas top machines, yet big enough to sell cheaper models cheaper.
      They're just getting going, again, and they will be fighting it out with all the others forcing a price war yet driving up quality.
      I love Kioti tractors, I've seen many bllsht problems with LS, Mahindra but Branson, tym and other budget brands don't have any foot print where I am so I honestly can't say one way or another as long term is no joke that's the real deal breaker. We know our deere, botas, new Holland, case, and yanmars will last 30 years no problem, but will the cheaper ones? That's not sarcasm or a doosh bag I'm actually serious, I am happy we can get them big girls reasonably priced but God dam if 5 years after real use, logging, digging and grading roads and driveways she's worn out an needs an engine rebuild with the hydraulics shot well then we're fucked
