I recently started painting as a way of processing my fathers terminal illness. I gravitated immediately to painting birds with acrylic, but have recently started exploring watercolor. I appreciate the videos that you post. I'm learning a lot by watching your craftsmanship, and enjoy your calming, subdued presence. Please keep it up.

Thank you so much for the heart warming comment. I hope you and your family find strength in this challenging time. Sketching/painting is something I use as a coping mechanism for my own mental health struggles. So I'm really glad you are finding these videos comforting.

I love seeing what can be done in short amounts of time. I want to explore doing that myself. Excellent video as always 🤗😊🙏

      Thankyou!
Consistency and discipline trump talent and flamboyance, imo.

For me...just thinking... planning which area to do first...saving white of paper...understanding colours...this itself takes 15 minutes...so i left daily wc practice. Im using daily either gouache or acrylics daily and off day from work where i have 3-4 hours atleast...iam doing watercolours, which is once or twice a week. I am a very slow painter...actually very bad for watercolour...but watching Louise De Masi on youtube...i can do little slower...mostly wet on wet. However, this bird is so realistic yet impressionistic...beautiful. enjoy😊
