A quick note about cover lines is that they are 3D as opposed to 2D. So that means you would be drawing a diagonal line when firing from or at an operative on a vantage point. There was an FAQ for this one. Hope this helps!

They are, I’m not really sure what happened here, should of been able to reroll any or all dice, not just 1’s (that’s ceaseless)
You are correct.
As an additional note, terrain can't provide Obscurity if the direct lines (in 3D) from one model's base to the other don't actually go through the terrain. If your lines go OVER or UNDER the terrain rather than THROUGH it it won't provide Cover OR Concealment - so no need to worry about the ruined statues either. :)
You know what I just completely got the two rules mixed up - that does make GK's bolters pretty reliable and spicy to boot!

I love that you guys play out the end of your games and always throw some custom rules in to make it interesting at the end. It's my favorite way to play and I feel like sometimes it's the most entertaining part of the whole match.
Even when you're down and out you can't throw in the towell! Tbh this need to play to the end came from a doubles tournament we played years ago, our opponents nearly tabled us but we saw it through to the end, and thanks to some insane rolls we managed to knock off all their HQs and deny them a top table spot.

Obviously sometimes the math just doesn't work out and you can't win, but it's absolutely glorious when some random unit holds out to the very end pulling off some ridiculous shenanigans. I like that you're always building these histories of your units, game after game, and they start to take on their own personalities. I didn't think I'd be into that when I started playing (still a noober). And you miss out on that if you don't play it out!
I also like a good challenge too, and I learn the most about plays and positioning when I'm getting absolutely destroyed, can't form diamonds without immense pressure right? ;)

Fantastic video and report guys! And thank for have it to a reasonable time! I fear that you missed a rule when then first grey knight charged (he missed pay 2 to jump in light terrain), but other way well down! I am looking forward to play my warp covens soon against my friend with grey knights!

Hi guys. Great battle rep. Just a couple of things (OIDDDE has already been mentioned)
* The first combat you should have parried one of the attacks and the Grey Knight would have taken less damage and probably survived the next combat too
*In one of the later shooting Beanie didn’t keep the auto save for cover as he was fishing for a 6 but if he kept it and got another normal save he could have combined it for a crit save)

Cant fight in combat with in death does duty end. The model in incapacitated just not removed. so once the fight starts he cant make any attacks. So you can only shoot with only in death

As told in the Designer's Commentary of the Core Rules (Warhammer Community), it seems that when you use your tactical ploy OIDDDE, your GN can't hit in combat (as he is already incapacited and can't resolve any successful hits, but can still charge), so the sorcerer shouldn't have taken any wounds
I agree - moving and blasting away with the storm bolter would have been legal and lethal!

Can I ask, why were you concerned about the cover lines in Turning Point 1? The designer commentary has clarified that cover lines are 3D, so if the line from base to base goes over the top of, or underneath, obscuring terrain, that terrain is not "crossed".
Ah that's good - tbh I wasn't too clear on that rule so thought I'd just make that as an example but that makes SO MUCH SENSE.
