He was mentored by Albert King. They were friends since he was 18-19. Cris use to play at at JJ’s Blues Bar in San Jose, CA back in the day. Use to be our hang out.
I love his music,I just hate I'm so late to the party. I never knew about chris cain or walter trout or anybody else until johnny winter passed because I'd been such a fan of his for most of my life. Thank God that the Blues wont die because there are so many with crazy talent levels of all ages,cultures,colors,sexes,its a great time in history to be a fan of the Blues!!!! Even old coolass BUDDY GUY is still playing!

Absolutely 100% wonderful, one of the greatest live blues videos on ytube...The Albert King vibe is always strong with Chris but with some jazz licks thrown in. To me. that's the best ever mix. And the bass player & drummer are incredibly good, the finest backing ever! Thank you for the video.
