I was listening to him in the 80's, my musical tastes went rampant and far removed from this, but. It's great to hear his voice again even if it's 12 years old! I might drag his stuff out again, brilliant!
Robert Cray , may not be so well known, My opinion is he is in same league as Jeff Beck, Clapton ,Page, Knopfler, Trey, Townsend and BB king and all those super famous big names. But we all now the one guy no one in history who stands head and shoulder above every electric guitarist.

I still mourn the warping of my LP recording of Robert Cray's first album "Who's Been Talkin'," released on Tomato Records circa 1980-81. Curtis Salgado on the harp back then and Richard Coustins (still) on bass. LOVE these guys.
Nie jest gwiazdą, ale ma niepowtarzalny, swój styl. Powiedzcie że nie poznajecie tego stylu grania i śpiewu. Przyjemnie się go słucha. Solidny gość bez blichtru

Robert Cray is a national treasure. Very few people in history have developed such an instantly recognizable style on any instrument.

Rob Cray feels it so deep his hands tighten when playing guitar and he fumbles but it gives the music such genuine feel.. Its fantastic
