Bravo, B. B. King! Before you left us for Heaven, you played to the masses which included the rich, poor, middle class, upper class, and even the Royals. Anyone who doesn’t relate to the blues either has a heart with a hole in it or has no soul. Everyone has been a fool for someone, perhaps once or twice and has, therefore, had the blues. Each song tells a story about the blues and just why it came to be. The death of a loved one will bring on the blues and causes a heartache at best. What a genius because B. B. King could sing, write songs and play a guitar sitting, standing or walking. Yes, you were not just a good man but a great man. Rest in eternal peace, B. B. King, Mr. Blues Man! ❤👏🙏

For those of you who did not have a chance to see him live, I am truly sorry. I saw him 4 times, and each time he was great. With an artist this good, I really felt like if he was in the room and picked up an electric guitar, there would be magic.....and there was....it was like a religious experience to hear and see him. Thankfully we have these films of him, they are invaluable!! BB King a true original~
I saw him several times in the 2000-2010s. Including just before he passed away. He truly was a force. Even in his later years. And truly just a nice guy who connected with his audience. I do miss him. I also recommend Buddy Guy. He's only playing in Chicago but here is your excuse to go there. I seen him several times in recent years. He's 88 now.
First time I saw BB was August 1987 at ArtPark in Lewiston, NY - a couple months before this performance. His effect on the crowd was unrivaled in my years of seeing many performers. Every great thing you've every read about him is true. Great to revisit this younger, vital BB with a screamin' band behind him.
That's so cool man! I can only imagine how great that must be . Makes me smile and sad at same time cause i wish I could've seen him just once but that goes for so many of my favorites from the 60's and 70's. I Wish you and yours well .

This is what BB did when he was pissed at his band about something: gave them all solos early on, put them on the spot. You'll notice he doesn't sing much, either. Loved BB, saw him many times, he was something of a family friend, and never saw him do this but heard stories. RIP BB. Thanks for the upload.
BB King didn’t give the guys solos when he was pissed with them he respected his band members individual talents and showed them off to the audience. This I know because I was in the band for 35 years.
