He was on the Road 75% of the Year back then, sad about his many kids but what can you do when your life is the Blues and you are the best of all time.
I was there and in Tears I
was so moved by his performance and the Band was superb.

@@NickBird96 get your facts straight before you attempt to disrespect his legacy. He was actually infertile, and CHOSE to raise 15 children as his own. This man was a King amongst men in every way. As somebody who picked up a guitar because of him, I had to respond to this.

Bravo, B. B. King! Before you left us for Heaven, you played to the masses which included the rich, poor, middle class, upper class, and even the Royals. Anyone who doesn’t relate to the blues either has a heart with a hole in it or has no soul. Everyone has been a fool for someone, perhaps once or twice and has, therefore, had the blues. Each song tells a story about the blues and just why it came to be. The death of a loved one will bring on the blues and causes a heartache at best. What a genius because B. B. King could sing, write songs and play a guitar sitting, standing or walking. Yes, you were not just a good man but a great man. Rest in eternal peace, B. B. King, Mr. Blues Man! ❤👏🙏

For those of you who did not have a chance to see him live, I am truly sorry. I saw him 4 times, and each time he was great. With an artist this good, I really felt like if he was in the room and picked up an electric guitar, there would be magic.....and there was....it was like a religious experience to hear and see him. Thankfully we have these films of him, they are invaluable!! BB King a true original~

He truly was a force. Even in his later years. And truly just a nice guy who connected with his audience. I do miss him.
I also recommend Buddy Guy. He's only playing in Chicago but here is your excuse to go there. I seen him several times in recent years. He's 88 now.

That was something the piano player made up as part of his solo ad lib. It has no name. He would play something and the band would hear it and add to what was being played. That’s when musicians are listening to each other while they are playing. You get these special one time moments that can’t be repeated the next night because they only happen that one time in your lifetime unless it happens to get recorded like this was that night.
