If you're not comfortable in front of the camera, that's okay. There's plenty of popular channels out there that stay anonymous. You do you, friend. We're just here for the ride. ❤
well said
Lock picking lawyer is a good example of this
"for the ride"/ we're here for more horses getting manipedis.
@@Suninrags Also How To Basic lol. He'll show every part of his body before he shows his face XD
Also Dream. 10 million subs with no face reveal.
Good to finally see the man behind the forearms!
Finally
Yes what eye candy 😍
@@blondiex3308 yup he's cute

I’m glad I’m not the only one 😆
Yea im from the city too ive never seen this bfor...😳rather interesting lol
Lmao same
Exactly
Your voice is really nice to listen to.
As someone who's got no knowledge what so ever about animals this is both entertaining and educational to watch.
Your care and attention to details of the animal's needs is evident in his demeanor. Complete trust. It's a pleasure to learn from someone who knows their craft so well, and yet is so humble. Thanks for this and for your other videos as well.
Your face do your face and forearms justice! I don’t know why but I always thought you would have more facial hair.
Real talk, if you’re not comfortable being on camera, it’s okay. We watch it for the horse shoeing, arms, and voice. The face was a pleasant surprise.
Ikr, i cant help but love them, his arms are just so strong
His arms, voice, and horse shoeing is tranquil af.
This channel never fails to be effortlessly satisfying.
I’ve never seen a mule like that, he’s very handsome!
Thanks
S&S Horseshoeing handsome guy love your videos
Agreed, beautiful mules.
@@ericolens3 LOL thanks for the laugh! The male was handsome too. Haha
That is a chill mule. he even puts his front hoof on the post dantily and waits for you to do your thing.
Finally seeing the face of this man, I enjoy your videos I truly don’t think it’s important to show your face your voice and hands is enough for some of us 👍🏻❤️
Where ever there are horseshoe trimmings, there's a dog ready to eat them.
So true, I have to walk my 4 past a stables and they always seem to know when the farrier is there, I have to go in and beg the clippings for them 😂
My Saint Bernard LOVED to eat them. I always thought it was weird. Lol!
@@margaretclark......akamarm2600 omG really?? Ive never seen this bfor....trimming or a dog chewing em...neither
Dionne Dunsmore dogs love them, really good for them too, much better than those awful dangerous rawhide chews. You should contact a riding school near you, see if they will keep a bag of trimmings for you when the farrier has been. x 😊
Oh wow I didn’t know that dogs ate that, that’s really cool!
Is it me or does anyone else thinks this is therapeutic
Just listening to his voice and the pacing of his work makes me feel better. Im as calm as that mule now.
@@mothball5425 it's getting all the dirt and mud out I love that, I only come to watch the football lol
He's very good at explaining what he's doing.
@@cc1k435 just like to see guys remove mud and dirt from a hoof at 02:30 in the morning lol
Extremely
I never thought I'd say that about a grown man but that camera shyness is just so adorable but really you don't have to force yourself :)
Your videos should be prescribed for people suffering with anxiety. Don’t think I’ve been this chilled and relaxed in a long ass time
Stuey1221 I have anxiety and these videos help me ☺️
"Long ass time"...I see what you did there 😂
Thank you for telling us the dogs names 🙂
"Jack of all trades" 😂 Totally here for the unintended mule puns!
Didn't notice...lol
Definitely don't push yourself if you don't want to be in front of the camera. Because it's not your face that makes the video, it's everything else about you. Your gentle and caring soul for all the animals you've worked on and your great personality. You're a genuine guy and it shines through your videos. I'm just really glad I found your channel, keep being you!
Great job Sheldon, Great looking pair of Mules your Brother and Father have there, and not to mention great team.
Hope all is well for you and family 👍
Thanks, very kind!
Me not owning any horses wondering why I’m here. *steps in front of camera* “oh yeah, now I remember” 😂
I see new horse shoeing video, I click...easy.
I would like but it’s at 69 sooo...
Where am I? RUclips be recommending some random ish sometimes. Those are some weird looking dogs.
Rude 😤😂
But they're cute dogs
and yet you still watched it
@@japlin3 Wasn't complaining. Don't be another RUclips keyboard warrior.
@@ericolens3 That was probably the biggest dog I've ever seen in my life! Wonder what breed it was... 🤔🤔
5:05 Every dog likes to steal shoes, it doesn't matter whether it's a human shoe or a horse shoe.
I love mules... such clever critters
That's just satisfying, educational and wholesome. You can see that this man really cares about those animals and thats just beautiful.
Can we just talk about how handsome he is
@emma jean IKR, WITCH ONE?
I really like that you explain everything :) Love your vids man
You're handsome as expected
This is like the horse version of the Hoof GP. Absolutely fascinating!
I love your videos even though I don't know how they ended up in my recommendations. Your explanations are very clear and it's really interesting. Don't feel obliged to show your face if you're not comfortable with it, it's okay. Keep it up! Greetings from France
i live in the suburbs of chicago and never even rode a horse, but i still like watching these videos
That's a handsome set of mules! I could watch your videos all day long! Enjoyed seeing the Director of QA out there keeping an eye on things (what a cutie) and the dogs enjoying the frog trimmings. Thanks for sharing!
Happy for a video, and good to “see” you. Beautiful mule, too. Question, not really related to this video, more of a general question: are there regional differences in shoeing horse and mules? For example, I also watch a channel that highlights Friesian horses in the Netherlands. She filmed an episode where the farrier came to shoe one of her horses (he did toe clips). So, do most farriers worldwide speak the same “language” and use the same techniques? Or is there a variation in farrier “styles” around the US and world? Thanks again for taking the time to film, edit, and post!
Good question, I'd be interested to hear his perspective. I live in Kentucky and my farrier uses similar techniques to this channel but also some variations and some of the guys on his crew are South African so it seems like at least on a basic level they're working from the same foundation with I'm sure lots of nuances depending. And if you're talking about the Friesian Horses channel with Yvonne, they are awesome too, I love watching them 😃
Becky Lynn Yes, love Yvonne’s channel! I’m sure you’re right about the foundations of blacksmithing being similar.
Being a father of three boys, I can imagine how proud your father is to watch you perform your art. Awesome video.
You're like the Dr. Scholl's of hooves, adjusting the shoes to fix pressure and helping chips
bb you don’t need to show your face if it makes you feel uncomfortable. either way, you’re ✨gorgeous✨ inside and out :)
We don't know how, but we can tell you are a kind soul by your videos and the way you talk. It is so refreshing to watch someone so wholesome and nice.
It's very alluring to watch a master craftsman work his magic. I had a little laugh at the dog taking a souvenir lol
i’m not a specialist in your business, i’m just watching your videos because i like this feeling of wondering every time i see a horse you dealing with
i think horses are really powerful creatures, this is so fascinating to me
Glad you like them!
I've rarely seen a man so confident that he swings a hammer so wildly at objects near his crotch.
Thank you for taking the time to educate us with direct, clear comments and explanations. I appreciate you sharing your knowledge and not being talked 'down to' in the process. I admire your care and concern for the animal's well-being. With proper shoeing and follow-up care, are you able to eliminate hoof wrinkles?
You’re a babe and your camera shyness is endearing! Keep at it ❤️
Not only are you soft spoken and speak clearly, you take the time to explain things and I really appreciate it. I love your videos, please keep up the good work!

Farrier* lol
It’s okay if you want to continue filming the videos as you did. We started following you before seeing your face
On a second note, wow you look handsome and very young (around 23 y.o). I was very surprised to hear this cute little boy was your son. I guess the apple doesn’t really fall far from the tree.
I Noa you’re beautiful!
@@SailorSerenitySaturn that's sweet. Thank you
This is the first video that I’ve actually seen the benefit of shoes on equine animals. Thank you for that! By watching you, I’ve learned the importance of shoes on some “ not all in my opinion “ horse’s. And in this case! A mule. I was much too rigid in my views before I found your site. You’re a good Man Sir! And I wish you and your family the very best. God Bless!
thanks susan
Do you wear shoes like when you walk on rough ground or have to carry heavy things or you know walk for long periods you know it's like the same idea
I love that you explain what you're doing and why! It's fun to watch hoof trimming and shoeing videos anyway, but as a total layperson I love learning more about the animals' feet, how farriers care for them to fix and avoid problems, and how the shoes play into that. Very enjoyable, thank you for making these videos!
Omgosh I always watch your work,
It was your voice that drew my attention to your videos. Awesome work you do. And now that I see your face oh my gosh you’re handsome. Keep doing what you do. Learning a lot from you ...
Thank you 😊
Aww it was nice to see the man behind the craft! Feel free to be on camera whenever you feel comfortable enough for it, although from that short clip you looked natural..The videos are both satisfying and educational! 😊
Oh thank you!
Viewing from Boca Raton, Fla.🌞. Brings back memories when I was kid in the country.
Lovely to see the face that goes with the voice :D Your videos show so much care and attention to both the animals, but also your viewers. Keep up the great work!
You are so kind
Thank you so much for the wonderful video, really enjoyed watching a craftsman doing a fantastic job, love to hear you talking about your family, keep up the great job best wishes from not so Lockdown Reading England 🏴👍
This is supreme late night youtube material right here. Kinda thing that you just watch while half conscious and not realize that it's 3 am.
I never knew you called those irons "shoes" in English! That's so cute! But it makes sense because technically they (horses) kinda are wearing shoes, right?
In German they are literally called hoof iron
Lol
Thank you so very much for sharing your skills with us! Loved every minute of this video, and especially watching Scotty and Syd. Beautiful mules!
Glad you enjoyed it!
That was pretty adorable how nervous he was..Don't worry it will get easier!
Love watching your videos here from Copenhagen, Denmark. You are doing such a great job for horses, mules, and donkeys always having their best in mind. Like that very much, and your explanations are really excellent and informative. Thank you so much!
This right here is the type of content I watch just because I enjoy it
First time I watched one of your vlog, I became hooked on what you do. VERY IMPRESSIVE!!! Now that you graduated from VET School I am more impressed and respect on your monumental accomplishment. Thank you for sharing your trade and professionalism.
I feel like I could totally walk someone through shoeing a horse.. definitely couldn't do it myself though
I get so happy when I get notifications that you’ve posted a new video! I know I’ve said this before but thank you so much for sharing your craft with us!
I love your videos so much and this did not disappoint. Hope the apprenticeship goes well.
Man. Can't get over the skill and confidence you show in your work. Great stuff!
I dont have any pets, let alone a horse. There's no reason for me to be here, but I'm here. 😌
Mate these videos are great to watch, we don't have horses anymore on the family farm here in New Zealand. So it brings back a lot of memories watching you work.
The face reveal we all wanted!
Just found your channel and I’m now obsessed. We didn’t learn anything super in-depth about hoof care in vet tech school so this is super fun to watch. I love watching/learning from someone who loves what they do! And you should feel proud of yourself for putting yourself out there. I know that feeling myself and it can be intimidating but you should be proud of yourself for doing it! You’ve got love from CT!
The sound of the rasp on hoof and the carving with the knife is asmr to my ears
Thank you for teaching me about something that I had absolutely no idea I was interested in!! So much more goes into shoeing than I thought. Keep up the good work! 😊
Hi Sheldon! 😃 So nice to see your face! 😊 Really missed your videos as always. Hope you stay safe.
Thank you! You too!
It's beautiful to watch someone doing what they love. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks for explaining things as you go along I really find it interesting
Glad you enjoyed it
Thanks for the amount of educating you took the time to put in this video. Understanding why a farrier builds a show a certain way is great information.
Give this man an award 🥇
lol
Your content are so chill to watch, and oddly satisfying 🤩
Nicely done, do you have a very nice speaking voice as I said you’re very easy to listen to.
There are so many smart, dedicated, and driven young people out there. Love to learn about new stuff like this.
I’m glad you’re back making videos
I love your channel. Just recently found it so I subscribed. You are such a gentleman. I'm from NY so very rare to find. I'm glad you showed yourself so we can put a face to the voice. You are doing a great job!!
I really like watching your videos you haven't done one for ages, I'm in the UK and I love your voice and its good to put a face to it, does it hurt you back being a farrier? And I thought a mule was a donkey lol
I know I have been slacking. yes it does. half horse and half donkey
Thanks as always for the great video. Growing up my neighbor had a ole John mule named thunder, my best friend. Not many mules in s.e mass but I was sure lucky to be around him. Keep yourself and your loved ones safe. Thanks again

Its nice to see the man behind the hands. Also really like that you explain things as you're working.👍
He is back! Yay!!v
Thank you for sharing your work, what you do with the hardware of the horses is pleasant, and especially the effort is looked at so that each job is well. He really did not know anything about the job you do, he is well admired for the effort you put into his work.
How many times have you missed the nail and hammered your knee, or shin? Curious 😅😅😅🥰
These videos are so relaxing and enjoyable to watch. I've always loved horses so it's nice being able to learn stuff about them while relaxing. You have a great way of explaining things!
Love your horse 🐴❤️💖
I'm so glad I stumbled across your channel! Your videos are so informative and interesting to watch! :) Thank you for sharing
Ohh he’s gorgeous❤️❤️❤️ he’s like an Appaloosa🥰
He is an apaloosa mule. The youtuber even said that he was an apaloosa towards the beginning of the video

I just started getting into watching these kinda videos/ satisfying hoof cleaning within the last couple months and since I've RUclipsd it I've always watched your videos
The other day I saw a video of a horse having some weird shews fitted, they were like normal shews but they had big studs at the back. Is this an actual shew or is it a mitchmach of some other shews
I’ll put the link in the comment of this comment so you can see it for your self.
*shoes
I'm not a farrier or S&S, but Google types of horse shoes or special purpose horse shoes. People have come up with a lot of different kinds of shoes for different work and different hoof problems
Hear you go:

I hait this channel because they mistreat the animals and run them on concert surface next to cars on highways!😤
Ok, thanks 👍
@@dizbish377 I looked at your video and looked it up, they're using shoes with "studs" on them. Internet says they're for increasing traction, especially for working in grassy or slippery situations.
Ok, thanks 👍
This randomly came up in my recommended. Honestly. Calming. Its actually wholesome to watch these types of videos. I love this so much. hope you continue doing this work
Does the horseshoe nailing hurt the horses/mules...etc.?
No they don't have any feeling in it. It's kinda like when you cut your own nails, you can't feel anything in your actual finger nail until you get to the part where skin is connected. I think hooves are sort of like really thick fingernails but if you were to cut too far they woukd start feeling it. Also if they were in pain they'd be kicking and showing that they don't like it
@@m0sshroom Hooves are indeed very thick fingernails. A horse's leg is basically one long hyper-specialized finger.
@@herpderp3916 That's a weird mental image lol
I love watching your videos, your voice is very soothing 😌. Helps me sleep. Thank you! Your job is very intriguing 😃🥰
If only animals were cared for like this.
I enjoy watching your expertise in making horses more comfortable on their feet. My great grandfather was a blacksmith in a small town north of Pittsburgh and when my dad was a boy he used to pump the bellows for the forge. Times have changed. In another video you created a rocker toe, which I thought was cool. You'll make a good vet.
Your so handsome, i wouldn't be camera shy if i was you
I don’t know anything about horses or mules but you do such a good job explaining what it doing and u have such a soothing voice I can put you on at night and your voice helps me sleep
