  • Dr. Garry Nolan is the Rachford and Carlota A. Harris Professor in the Department of Pathology at Stanford University School of Medicine. He has published over 300 research articles and is the holder of 40 US patents, and has been honored as one of the top 25 inventors at Stanford University. Dr. Nolan was the founder of Rigel Inc. (NASDAQ: RIGL), and Nodality, Inc. (a diagnostics development company), BINA (a genomics computational infrastructure company sold to Roche Diagnostics), Founder of Apprise (sold to Roche Sequencing Solutions), co-Founder of Ionpath and co-Founder of Akoya.
But in this conversation, we focus on his interest in the area of UFO’s. Since 2016, Garry has been in possession of and analyzing materials given to him by some of the top “Ufologists” in the country like Jacque Vallee. He’s also consulted for the CIA in studying the brain structures of people who claim UFO encounters. In this interview, we discuss his very interesting findings on both UFO materials and brain structures. Spoiler alert: the materials contain isotope ratios not naturally occurring anywhere on earth, and the brain structures are very unique. Please enjoy this wild conversation with Dr. Garry Nolan.

I love that he said "speculation is fun" --- too many people, especially hardcore conservative scientific types, think of speculation as this sort of negative thing bc whatever it is you're speculating about hasn't yet been proven true, so it's almost as if it's forbidden to speculate. But there's never been a major scientific discovery that didn't originate with some level of speculation. Speculation is intuition. Speculation is creative. Speculation is ideas. I'm from a STEM field and I agree, as long as speculation is balanced with a healthy dose of skepticism it can lead us to fascinating new discoveries. Too much speculation is as bad as too much skepticism; too much of either upsets the balance of intelligent inquiry leading into a "bum steer", where we draw the wrong conclusions.

I am sure there are others but in the area of UFO topics I haven't seen it. I think it was your extreme knowledge or your preparation for the interview that was extraordinary. Obviously Dr. Nolan lives in a world that is at a level that is at a much higher level of intelligence than normal. However he apparently was motivated by the conversation and your extreme participation in it. Kudos to you and Dr. Nolan. An excellent report.

UFOlogy has been a legitimate field of inquiry for a long while since the 50s really. The reality is that UFOlogy has had to be on the Fringe because those working in the Scientific Field are thoroughly Programmed to not look at the Paranormal, ET or Free-energy, lest they be Ostracized and their funding pulled. In actuality, both Carl Sagan and J. Allen Heinich, who were "respected scientists" were both heavily studying UFOs working for the government while debunking them to the general public.

I literally just watched him on Lex Fridman being extremely unwilling to say "i saw UFO parts", but rather much more willing to say "i saw interesting materials, we dont know where they came from, im NOT saying its from a UFO as the media claimed".
So, not sure if this video title is clickbait or not.. Time will tell.
    *grabs popcorn*
Edit: no, he's way more open here, strange shift. Also, he absolutely knows (or has a hunch) about stuff he isnt talking about, he's tiptoeing the fine line of "not appear crazy". Because there's no way a material scientist at Stanford looks at a metal chunk with weird magnesium isotopes, and comes to the hypothesis "Maybe these things are alive, living things?!"
Like, he just let that out accidentally due to his excitement. And yeah, we can all speculate on whatever.
But why would a material scientist suddenly talk about that kind of idea, when the only thing we just discussed were metal isotopes and inanimate objects? Like there's no red thread there, very interesting.
It's like if a guy working on analyzing airplane alloys with zero connection to UFO's, just sitting in his lab doing mundane work about tensile stresses of various airframes, suddenly bursts out "maybe they're living things!".
That just wouldnt happen, because there's no logical path to that, unless you've got stuff you're thinking about behind the veil that you arent talking about, stuff you have a reason to have been thinking about, such as some evidence you've found that points at that direction.
Also ties in with what he said earlier about "maybe this is just a consequence of a process that expels this isotope as a biproduct".

Unsure why but I only just discovered this channel. Very well edited, correct questions with the right people & at the right time. I Subscribed after watching the first video with Deep. I have a sister channel called TTEA where I cover the U.A.P phenomenon but I have not uploaded much recently due to...well...just too busy. I use to talk to my late father about it for hours upon hours before he passed away in 2001 at such a young age of 48. I am now 42 & believe this is the reason I have so much time invested in the subject. Love the content. PCG

These metal fragments originally came from Linda Moulton-Howe who received them in the mail from the grandson of a member of the military who was part of the Roswell crash recovery team. She had them tested by 2 independent metallurgical labs who both reported that the metal samples could not be made o Earth. The purity of the metals - bismuth, magnesium, zinc - arranged in hundreds of molecularly thin layers, one after the other. Tom Delonge apparently bought 2 samples from Howe for 35k. He got them to Nolan apparently. Interesting she isnt mentioned as part of the chain of ownership anymore.

I'm new sub. Your interviews and interviewees challenge the scope of reality in an intellectual manner that is new and exciting. I'm very glad academics are now taking a serious look at this subject. The path to changing our world is getting shorter by the day thanks to these people diving into the unknown. Makes me regret Being a knucklehead when I was young.

    Jesse, super great interview!! 👍🏼👍🏼
Did you at all discuss the material he had but couldn’t show you or us?
Did he give reasons why? I know national security etc but why, because it’s a shape of a ship or vessel or it’s a piece of a control surface or remnant of a possible weapon or something?
What’s it made of ? Anything! Bueller? Anyone? Bueller??
    Thanks!! 👍🏼😊👍🏼

The total list of material samples over the course of the last seventy years is a lot. There are parts and materials that are being worked on, and as in court cases while this is in progress you are probably not going to hear or see much about it. Let the people do their work - that is the only way it moves forward.
