Phil Stutz graduated from City College in New York and received his MD from New York University. He worked as a prison psychiatrist on Rikers Island and then in private practice in New York before moving his practice to Los Angeles in 1982.
Barry Michels has a BA from Harvard, a law degree from University of California, Berkeley, and an MSW from the University of Southern California. He has been in private practice as a psychotherapist since 1986.
The two are the authors of the New York Times bestselling book, The Tools.

The law of attraction is real. My friends around me call me the “master manifester” since for some reason I always find a way to materialize what I want. Even though everyone literally sees me using the law of attraction, deep down, they don’t believe it’s real and think it’s just extremely ironic that time after time after time I somehow manifest my dreams. That’s why it doesn’t work for them. Because they are telling themselves it won’t work.

I just left a comment where in I said; my shadow always helps me/answers me for others. Like now for example; one minute you Jesse said you don’t know what your next step/fase in life has to be. And after you and your dad talked about “do you want to be like the richest people in the world” my shadow says; this guy has the right tools! All he needs is a toolbox! Here we are listening to you (all) talk, why don’t you make a “toolbox” we’re people can “get together”.
Oh men this is so hard to explain in English because it is not my own language! My English is good enough for a day to day base but when it comes to deeper things I need to type it is not so easy 😳😬🤯

It’s because he is very inconsistent with uploading content. He posts a new video sometimes once every 3 months, sometimes even longer.

I had no idea Dr. Barry Michels was your father! I have been following him and Dr. Stutz since the Netflix special. I have read "The Tools, Coming Alive and Lessons for Living" st least 4 times each and reading them all over again. They have changed my life #grateful ❤

Yes this was a very satisfying listen and im just amazed every time at how insightful Jesse is. Every single time. The other upload i did get distracted by his foot but could fix that by just listening not watching but i guess i get why he reuploaded. There is much to see in their mannerisms.

I wasn't planning on leaving comments on videos, but after watching this one and being a subscriber to your channel, I felt compelled to share my thoughts.
I just wanted to express how refreshing it is to see someone with your level of intelligence and background willing to remain open to different perspectives on the topics you cover.
Questions about reality, our place in the universe, the meaning of it all, and how to improve ourselves are universal.
In my view, the essence of the world around us is chaos. As humans, we continually strive to make sense of everything, both good and bad. Maintaining balance, flexibility, and resilience amidst life's uncertainties is crucial. Staying grounded and consistently focusing on what truly matters yields the best results.

So nice to see a father and son having such a great conversation together. Would've been nice to have that with my own father, who actually died while I was in a very dark place in my existence. Side note, never lose sight of how lucky you are to have such an incredible, built-in support system for your expansive thinking. I have thought about the basic ideas behind a lot of your videos on my own but sometimes I wonder how much more I would understand if I had people, or literally anyone at all, to explore more deeply the concepts you can so freely discuss with your family. It’s one thing to find community in the comments online, but it seems like a whole other level to be able to get to that depth with your immediate circle. You are fortunate to have each other.

I’m guessing that in a long form conversation that is mostly improvised, it’s probably very difficult for all of us to edit ourselves on the “filler” words
I don’t do a podcast and if I did, I think I would find all kinds of landmines such as that in my own speech
But mostly it distracted from a lot of the amazing ideas you talked about

The present is a "collapsing function"... bravo.... you don't change the universe by wanting something. once you know what you want you will be able to grab those as they pass by your perspective. It is easier to "grab" them when you know what you want and what that looks like. You do a better job of identifying the opportunities that pass by that fit into your plan.
