  • Graham Hancock is an unrelenting journalist uncovering the origins of humanity’s forgotten past. His new docuseries on Netflix is called Ancient Apocalypse and it documents the abundance of evidence that humanity is much older than the prevailing belief among mainstream archeologists. Most people believe civilization was started a mere 6,000 years ago in the Fertile Crescent. Graham explores various archeological sites across the globe that show in fact our civilization is much older than this. In this raw longform interview we discuss the secrets of Atlantis, the ark of the covenant, DMT as a window into the spirit world and of course, UFOs and aliens.
    Go watch ancient apocalypse on Netflix!!

      It’s a fact, 100% world floods existed and it’s proven that just 11000 years ago, we lost most of the big animals that could of wiped us out.
      You ever seen a mammoth skeleton, saber-toothed tiger, North American lion, cave bear, yet in school we learned humans murdered billions all at once, daft and pure fiction.
      Go and see and learn or use a child’s brain, or a dogs even, than come back with how modern humans even have a tough and dangerous time, hunting elephants and lions with high powered rifles (not a “real hunt”in my minds eye of hunting deer or any other animal that can actual run and hide in the woods) barely any cover for these glorious animals to hide in, yet still these beasts kill hunters to this day😅
      Mass extinction, not hunter gather wiping them out. There is way way way more actual facts and proofs, be it ice cores, soil samples, even bone studies of mammoths in the arctic and in Siberia, which there are millions, even billions of dead, wiped out, bones shattered by something other than a human throwing a rock or stick at lmao

      It's not a good sign if you don't care what his critics say. Even when I disagree with people who criticize people I agree with, I care about what those critics say. Do you even know what critics say about Hancock? Or do you just rely on Hancock to summarize what critics are saying about him?
      For example, maybe Hancock tells you that people criticize him merely on ad hominem grounds, or because he's outside the establishment or they're too afraid to consider the implications of his work. But it could be that he's lying and his critics actually criticize him because of concrete facts that contradict Hancock's claims.

Whether or not he is right about his theories, passing on his passion for history, archeology, and past civilizations/society is maybe more valuable than anything else he will ever do. How many people is he inspiring to pursue careers in archeology because of the work heske done? How much funding has flown into archeological research because of the work he’s done? It feels that he has opened the floodgates and they can never be closed again.

How much funding _has_ flowing into archaeological research because of him? That's the sort of thing would could find out with some research.
      But why would Graham Hancock make it _more_ likely for archaeologists to get funding? He tells the world that the archaeological establishment is corrupt and propagandistic. You'd think that'd have the _opposite_ effect, that it'd cause people to object to funding archaeology because it's just wasted, or even counterproductive, spending. Unless more money went into archaeology because establishment archaeologists wanted to _undo the damage that Hancock has done,_ but crediting Hancock for that would be like thanking Osama bin Laden for funding the military-industrial complex.

    "There is considerable unresolved disagreement over the significance, timing, magnitude, and even existence of meltwater pulse 1B. It was first recognized by Fairbanks in his coral reef studies in Barbados. From the analysis of data from cores of coral reefs surrounding Barbados, he concluded that during meltwater pulse 1B, sea level rose 28 meters (92 ft) in about 500 years about 11,300 calendar years ago."
    Meltwater Pulse 1B was a gradual event. No mass of ice melts instantaneously - even if hit by an asteroid the melting would still be surrounding the impact zone. So the sea level rose an average of about 5mm a day. Wow. What super advanced civilization could survive such an ordeal.

      Having names and dates memorized is not a sign of intelligence or wisdom. You'll notice he often says the date of something, like the specific day of the Tunguska event, even when the date of it doesn't have any significance to his argument. It's just something he's learned to do to create the illusion of authority.
      Imagine I was trying to argue that their were literal magicians in classical times, and someone said, "You argued that the Emperor Vespasian was killed not by a natural bout of diarrhea, but by a Persian wizard hired by Berenice of Cilicia", and then I responded, "Vespasian, who was a Roman emperor who died on 13 September the year 81...", adding the date does nothing to show evidence that Vespasian was put under a spell, it's just wasting time to wave something I've memorized in the face of listeners, like jangling keys before a baby. "Ooooooh, I know some dates, I must be very smart... and of erudition!"

    After decades of following both Graham and Randall's work, it's gratifying to see all this exposure. Since you did such a wonderful job of editing, as a content creator and sound engineer I can't help but to mention: Match that gain between cuts. In this case it's probably simply a matter of the couch interview needing compression. Many people have volume leveling and/or are listening through phone speakers, but those of us who still value big sound with inherent dynamic range, can have a hard time finding a usable volume sometimes when the amplitude between clips isn't glued. Especially when people raise their voice, and the speakers overreact and shake the windows . . . only to recede back to inaudibly low compared to the narrated clips. And remember, like I said, AWESOME job on this video! Just trying to help!

      Speculating about history, about possibilities and possible mistakes is healthy, invigorating and fun and Graham's speculations are clever, exciting and any one of them could be true. But poor old main stream science has the duty of proof so it can take decades to come to even the simplest conclusions and mistakes can most certainly be made.
      So the while speculation is very healthy, conclusions based on speculation are very unhealthy.

    • @hobosnake1
      @hobosnake1 Год назад

      @Dave L why do you think the burden of proof is any more on mainstream science than any dude out of his garage? It doesn't matter who you are, the burden of proof is on you.
      What I would like to know, Dave, is do you find it worthwhile writing paper after paper on speculation about things that you think might be the case? Because this is what mainstream scientists are interested in. Not all, but very many.
      I'm not calling Graham some earth shattering-ly important scientist, but he's simply giving examples of monuments built that don't match up with the popular mainstream opinion of human history.
      So I'm having trouble understanding where Graham lacks in "proof"
      Maybe his conclusions are wrong sometimes and his speculations unproven, but he has proven and shed light on the fact that there may have been civilizations building things far sooner in history than we thought. I mean what do you make of all the sites on his show? Are you saying that it was user error during instrumental data collection? At every site?

    • @MrMightyZ
      @MrMightyZ Год назад

      @@hobosnake1 if you are happy to arrive at a conclusion without proof then you might conclude just about anything. And you're not doing what any scientist would call "science."
      If I find a piece of metal in my yard and send it to the lab to find it has unusual properties and appears to have been superheated at some point I might make many exciting and possibly accurate speculations about how it got there. A healthy, stimulating and worthwhile pursuit.
      But if I then conclude that it is a piece of a spaceship I'm not so much adding to humanity's body of knowledge as I am being a dumbass.

    • @hobosnake1
      @hobosnake1 Год назад

      @Dave L you didn't address anything I said. I'm doubting you even read my message. I didn't say anything about not needing proof, in fact everything I said was clearly about the burden of proof, which is on everybody. I don't know why you differentiated that it's somehow more of a thing for mainstream scientists. It's just not true.
      I need proof. I am an objective, evidence based person. I agree everything needs to stand to reason if we are to accept it as true. I don't know why you seem to think I'm some crazy alien nut or something of the sort.
      Why can't you separate speculation and fact when it comes to Graham? He will admit when what he says is just speculation, but he also is well equipped with facts about these ancient sites. Those facts stand to he true, even if you don't like the conclusions Graham comes to, there is very amazing subject matter in his show that you can think about objectively. These archeological sites are so awe inspiring and curious.

      Remove dogma and conversation can begin. Even if that leads to a paradigm somewhere in the middle, it would be more progressive than the status quo. Hearing each other out is key... no matter the topic. Brilliant interview indeed. Cheers

    I had ayahuasca 3 months ago and during the 4th ceremony I saw 3 grey aliens. I’ve told this story on several channels now which discuss this subject. For me this experience has had a major impact on and I’m thinking there may be more to come as I’m going back for more ayahuasca next month.
    In this ceremony I was in surgery the whole time, I felt mother ayahuasca performing surgery on and she was working so hard and required so much concentration she just couldn’t talk to me the way she did in the other ceremonies. At one point she passed me over to another being to continue the surgery and I saw an actual surgeon with a green cap, a gown and a mask on. After he was finished with me I passed through a black vortex like tunnel and when I emerged on the other side I saw 3 grey aliens standing in front of me. When I saw them I instantly knew what I was looking at and a sense of dread washed over me, I honestly felt like I couldn’t handle this and as though it was far too much for me. A moment later I blacked out and then re awoke lying face down on a table with a hole for my face. From under the table I could see the aliens walking around me and doing things, presumably continuing the surgery from earlier. I saw one of them giving me hand gestures under the table, it was like he was telling me I would be ok and I was doing very very well. At this point the feeling of dread had melted away and I felt as though they were helping me.
    Please understand this experience was so real to me I don’t know how to properly articulate what happened. When I saw them I could see fine details like the texture of their clothing and particles of mist in the air behind them. When I was taken through the vortex I emerged into a dark room with an eerie green glow and this was the first time in the ceremony I felt my mind and body were taken somewhere else completely. Before this I instinctively knew where I was, that I was in the ceremonial room and lying on the mattress. But not anymore

      I think you may have tapped into your memories of when you were born
      This is a recorded phenomenon where we remember our early moments but because we as babies see in black and white and distorted shapes it appears as aliens.
      Not discounting your experience
      Just saying it sounds very similar to this phenomenon
