    Baritone have a different tone slightly. Marching baritones point straight foward like a trumpet what he has is euphinoum.(sorry for spelling) but it not illegal to calk it baritone essentally same thing, u just would want ti call it a marching baritone

    • @maxdichter4891
      @maxdichter4891 8 лет назад +3

      Sadly, you have fallen into the same trap that many before you have fallen into. The difference between a baritone and a euphonium is found in the shape of the bell and the tubing. The euphonium has a conical bell, where the baritone has a cylindrical bell. This changes their respectives sounds.

      @nicholastrombone9899 7 лет назад

      Max Dichter *bore the bell is usually the same size and shape the baritone is more cylindrical and the euphonium is more conical other than that they have the same characteristics

      The difference between a baritone and euphonium is like the difference between a trumpet and a cornet. Trumpet and baritone are cylindrical, while cornet and euphonium are conical.

      This image shows:
      1) marching baritone
      2) convertible euphonium
      3) marching euphonium
      4) convertible tuba

      I play baritone and euphonium. Essentially the euphonium has a larger bore than a baritone horn. Most euphonium have 4 valves and most baritone horns have 3.
      The baritone is from the saxhorn family and euphonium is essentially a tenor tuba. To me the euphonium has a more mellow sound. My euphonium bell points to the side and has four rotary valves; one of my baritone has the bell pointing upward with three valves. I have, also, a antique marching baritone with a bell pointing forward.

    1:36の音は、ハイエスですか?
    それともダブルハイエス…?
    凄く高い音のような気がするが、
    ハイエスだと低い気がして、、ダブルハイエスだと高い気がします。。
    でもこの方ならダブルハイエスはふけるでしょうね。
    あ、でもこの曲には出てこないかな・・?

    IT'S A EUPHONIUM!!!!!! and dont use the argument they are the same, chances are the "baritones" your talking about are the so called American "Baritone" which are neither baritones nor euphoniums.

    This is the most ridiculous performance I have ever heard from Mr. Mead. The recording is poor and hence, his tone is terrible. His antics are like Baadsvik without the class and sans the musicality. The last run was special. It would be a treat to hear David Childs play this...with tone!

      David A. Paulson can you play like him? Shut the fuck up if you can't make rich tone like Steven Mead ..he is a legend ...
