This guy knows his way around eggs, can probably cook scrambled eggs 30 different ways from all those breakfasts he cooks for his one night stands.
You just KNOW this guy has at least two egg dishes he named himself. One is the Eggs Benét and the other one is probably something you can only wake up to and somehow can never remember, only that it was really good.

Totally agree. My brother texted me, "Buy this album right now" (Mr. Experience) so thought, ah, I guess I'll give a listen, not expecting much. Halfway through the first track of the album, I ordered the Vinyl.
Fact. I found a copy of The Don at my friends house in April, haven't stopped listening since.
I saw the commercial for Le Piano, and the first little taste of the track “Le Piano”… I needed him in my life.

Caught Donny playing with his full band in Sydney last year and it was so good. He's got a 5 or 6 person backing band with sax, synth and backing singers while Donny shreds on the bass.🙌🙌
Next KEXP should do a full band live session with Donny's band. Those sax solo's are amazing.
Was lucky enough to see the full show band in Adelaide a few weeks ago and the band's chemistry is truly magical. Definitely something that has to be experienced :)

This is great and he is incredible with the full show band. The sax solos are epic and donny shreds the bass.
I can't agree more with this. The live sax really spices it up and Donny is an incredible bassplayer. He's even doing some slapping during the live shows.

Got a chance to see Donny @ Baby's All Right Brooklyn NY in August. Was out with friends & just happened to find out he was playing. Absolutely fantastic! I'm now a lifelong fan of THE DON!

His jive or vibe is weirdly compelling.
The nutty thing is he doesn't seem to 'sing' conventionally or even with much effort aside from the chorus, yet it seems to mix and gel well with his backing music melody. Then the chorus hits and he shifts up completely, almost magical or something!
Brilliant one man band. Donny is the BEST. There is nothing as good as this in today's music. He is a gem. Hope you read this comment, Donny. You're the man
i met this guy in 78’ when he was porkin my mom at our malibu beach front house on the living room couch when i walked in the front door from school. At first i thought it was my second step dad dave getting back with my mom again after another break up , but then he looked up at me and said “hey chief ! Sup!? . Anyhoo short story long , he stayed the night and the next day he sailed west in his yacht to hawaii and as he was departing he turned back to me and stuck his tongue between his v formed fingers and yelled “ Your Mom ! “ at me while flicking his mouth organ like he wash devouring a tilapia taco with cheese . ill never forget him.
