True, but the ink demons in the show weren't really the same as the ones in sets. Their designs were completely different. The ink demons in the show were blue/black figures with no details, but the ones in the sets had gold armour, pink eyes, gold faces/masks, hair, and the purple and pink symbol. The ones in the sets also seemed more like minions, you know? They all looked the same (except the ink general, which has like a genie lower half and a different hairstyle), whereas the ink demons in the show were copies of other characters.

So, he could've been programmed to ignore any reference to how he got free from the Scroll. I do feel like the fact that the writers made the Jade Emperor specifically ask if he had ever questioned how he came to be there/was released does imply he doesn't know and hadn't questioned it. Like yeah, if it was real life, you could just think he's purposefully ignoring what the Jade Emperor said, but since that specific line was purposefully written in... 👀 Also, the secret villain could have implanted the idea of overthrowing the Jade Emperor in his mind, but he might have largely had his own agency in how chose to carry out this goal.

But I don't go with Peng and Yellow Tunk theory much, they seem have too much characteristic and free will to we to believe that they just the product of the scroll. But I question their pink-purple stone too. And with the ending of the special, they seem like will appear again.

Although, the writers of Monkie Kid have included a few characters from Chinese mythology/religion that aren't in Journey to the West (Ao Bing and a Xiangliu), but I feel like it's unlikely that a main/major villain in Monkie Kid wouldn't be a JTTW character. However, Spider Queen was a big antagonist in Monkie Kid, and technically she wasn't a character in JTTW, although she is clearly based off of the Seven Spider Sisters from JTTW. Like I said, I did make a video about who I think the real mastermind is, but TL;DR: I think it's one of Lady Bone Demon's relatives (in the book, she briefly mentions she has family). I think the black arm and legs are just a clothing choice, something he wears casually/after defecting from the celestial army. I don't think he dripped the ink onto the scrool, more he summoned the ink from it akin to how he does his sword.

It's just me who thinks that the azure lion defeated the jade emperor very easily, because he defeated the celestial army mainly because of the scroll, nezha himself said that and also, the jade emperor and azure both gave attacks with their swords and then the jade emperor died because of the damage of the attack but azure didn't feel any effect. Another thing is that after he became the new jade emperor we obviously see that he can't contain that power and strength so why in the fight the jade emperor died so easily if he had a strength even greater than that of azure

I think he was trapped in the piece of the Scroll that was already in Monkey King's cave. And maybe all the pieces of the Scroll are connected, so when the Hooded Figure at the beginning of season 4 was messing with pieces of the Scroll, they did something that caused the piece of the Scroll in Monkey King's cave to relese Azure.
