I love the respect that they showed to Batista's character; *absolutely* unstoppable, taking any damage without a sound, powerful beyond expectation and, ultimately, only defeated through cunning, teamwork, and opportunity. Bravo! (Still a Hollywood 'chase fight', unfortunately, where combatants are thrown away then chased down. So, *SO* dumb.)
I watched something on this. Daniel craig accidentally broke his nose and actually ran away thinking batista was gonna beat his ass. But he was cool about it and posted a picture of it after cleaning it up.
@@GreyBlackWolf Dave talked about it as well and brushed it off.I personally wanted Dave to BODY SLAM Craig in this scene just to see how much punishment Craig could withstand in this fight .
@@xxtgun97xx77 Hinx could've grabbed the wine opener and just stabbed him by surprise instead of kicking the table. Plus if you really want realism the fight would've probably ended in maybe around a minute or less seeing how much they want to kill eachother. But it wouldn't be a Bond movie without the over the top, really epic and cinematic fight scenes and classy-ness
They do say going through stressful or traumatic times like these involving potentially deadly situations can bring people together and cause them to bond deeply, whether romantic or otherwise. Just look at the bond soldiers build once they survive combat together. They even call each other "brothers."
Finally a action movie where there's an unstoppable villain who bodies the hero in a proper 1v1 with equal skillet but totally different strength levels
2.26- When Hinx just walked through that cracking left hook Bond hit him with, that's when I knew he was going to lose this one. Henry Cooper would have been proud of that left hook!
Being with 007 for about 40 years, daneil greg was the best one, for me. As all of u can imagen , I am not from a Englishi county guy ,but , solute for him.
Another legendary scene. The directing part here is even better than the actual scene. In the beginning, you have the 2 main characters in a romantic scene developing the relationship between them. Quickly, before the completion, the romantic part stops (or get's interrupted) and one of the most intense and amazing fight scenes of the entire film starts. Once the fighting is over we go back to the previous scenario and the main characters complete the development of their relationship in the most romantic scene of the film. Pure perfection, mr Mendes🖤
this sequence was a very high note in a very lackluster movie. I was disappointed they killed Hinx off before act 3 (and I honestly wish he could have been a recurring henchman a la Jaws...), and the character's single line, "Shit," right before he dies, felt like a weaky attempt at humor that undercuts the character's gravitas.
In my opinion I'd say that the fight sequence seen here is equa, if not superior, to the one in From Russia With Love with Sean Connery. But this one was with a much larger and more muscular villain than the antagoist in From Russia With Love. The villain here is larger and stronger than Bond, but not as swift in terms of landing punches. Great movies, great scenes.
Whilst this was a cracking tribute to that other fight scene best remembered in FRWL the one weakness of this scene was the contradiction in Blofeld's orders Bond be taken alive. From Mr Hinx's actions he clearly intended to bring Bond back in bits.
please tell me im not the only one whos reminded of the old school bond movies where roger moore rights tee hee and jaws on a train its got similar vibes i know this is more brutal but its kinda old school in a way too
I was in karate once and the sensei yelled at a new guy because every time he punched he stopped and the sensei told him: do you think this is Hollywood when you present what you are going to do before doing it? And the sensei was right, in every James Bond movie or action movie, the bad guy exposes himself and never do the actual killing.
I watched two bonds Pierce Brosnan and Daniel Craig.I was thrilled to watching Pierce gadgets from my childhood and this intense fight scene from Craig both will come to my mind when think about bond movies

@Keith Olson. The sex scene has no place in and is irrelevant to this great fight choreography. Great performance by Batista.
I love how realistic the fight is at 3:02 bond is a man he can only take so much… man I love that part with the exhausted punch!!!!
And apparently Batista is a man and only can take 5x as much lol
Maybe if he stood so incredibly still Bond wouldn’t see him.
how original
Ha! Not bad man lol
*sloooooooooow crunch*
😂😂
yeah, but he was caught by Gamora and Peter
Dave's performance was brilliant, that moment he stares and keeps walking at bond, excellent.
One of the more realistic looking fights I've seen Hollywood make.
Need a bigger calibre gun 😀
Hahaha!

hmmm yes breaking multiple wood walls and pillars with a punch or shove.
The best aphrodisiac. Having a near-death experience.

The look in her eyes when she said "What do we do now ?!!?" was somethin' else.
Probably, the first action movie fight scene where they go through a kitchen and don't end up in a knife duel.
The boiling water would have been priceless
Who the fuck needs knives when we've got guns

Daniel Craig is the best bond ever!❤🥰👊💪
Arguably the best fight scene 007 ever
Amazing performance by Dave, that one line he had was bone chillling.
"Schit."
This scene was filmed so realistic, that i used to watch this scene again and again on you tube.
My favorite Scene from the whole movie, so intense, so serious, so real..
That scene is better than all action scenes in no time to die.
To me the hallway fight near the end of No Time To Die is better.
Great fight, showcased a lot of Bond’s skills
Very reminiscent of the fight on the train between Bond and Red Grant in From Russia With Love.

one of the best bond scenes ever!
Insert Jaws reference here.
He can't stay down with three barrels, not with 3 he can't...
" Bond " : Will half a dozen do ?
Shaw's line in Jaws, Bond having a fight in a train... something feels all too familiar with this, a nice tie in to From Russia With Love perhaps?
A throwback to the fight scene in "From Russia With Love" when Bond and Grant go at it.
This just had so much "From Russisa WIth LOve/Odjob" fight in it and I love it. BEst bond fight ever.
i don't know why but everytime i see someone get thrown through a wall in movies it makes me giggle lmfao
especially in a rail car... they are built like tanks. You get thrown through one of those walls, you're taking on damage...

I like the fact that Batista's character was so strong he couldn't be stopped by a simple fight
6'-5", 280 lbs of mostly muscle has an advantage in a fist fight (vs Bond)
I like how daniel craig accidentally broke dave bautista’s nose while filming this scene and he ran off scared 😂😂
What do we do now?.... Classic 007.
The fact that Craig busted his knee and broke Bautista’s nose in real life was amazing they kept going eh
Hinx was a beast! He still fucks Bond up even when on fire!! There is a clip of this somewhere with John Barry's Score which is pretty cool!

I always thought it was cool ever since Pierce Brosnan in Goldeneye. They even had it in the game for the train level!
