While we can't beat this thing in a world with unlimited blocks to our disposal, Jon beat it in a world where there is nothing other than dirt between his toes.
I've also done a lot of research and experiments on chunk savestating and chunk regeneration for my own videos. When causing chunk regeneration, I found that instead of using 46k books to fill up whole slot with 16 books, using just one book per slot can take up the same amount of data. so with just 2,900 books and 1GB of RAM, it's possible to do this even in the latest version without any version changes. Also, instead of just spamming a single Unicode character, mixing various 4-byte Unicode characters can make the data much more complex. I used random characters from U+30000 to U+323AF for my tests, and it seemed to increase the success rate significantly. Additionally, if you go back to a version before 1.19 pre-release 3, you don't even need books at all. You can simply paste thousands of U+200C zero width non-joiners into a single sign to regenerate chunks easily and with 100% success. Anyway, I really enjoyed your video and I respect all the effort you put into it. Thanks for making such a great video!

Congrats on 100K
I don’t know where I was expecting this video to go, but it wasn’t ‘generating a chunk via book magic.’ This is probably one of the best MC series I’ve seen in a long time. The dedication is pretty mindblowing. And it makes me want to play Skyblock again.
I've played a bit of minecraft through the years. And I have to say, this is one of the most amazing playthoughs I've ever seen. Literally building a world out of nothing. That level of detail and attention to the game is insane.
Awesome video! Wasn't expecting a 2nd part to the hardest skyblock but here it is out of nowhere! I wonder where this series could go next? It's cool to see more chunk regeneration done in extreme challenges. You used more books than necessary but it's still much more manageable than the amount Mud Flaps needed, haha.
Not sure what the direction will be yet, I need some time to see if this video gets picked up :). Yeah for sure there is still way for improvement. This was the minimum I managed to find in "reasonable amount of time". And also the amount was low enough to be done in vanilla minecraft without cheats :)!
Bro I saw a part of the first episode on tik tok and i knew I had to watch the entire series, this is such an amazing series, you have some true dedication and you are a mastermind in this game i really hope you are gonna make more episodes like this
okay so it seems like this channel is: -posts the best video in youtube history -gets little viewership -youtube slowly picks it up and it gets 5m views (this part has yet to happen but i know it will)
After watching part 1 you left me with high expectations.. and i can happily say that you delivered *perfectly:)* (also late congrats on 100k, you deserve it!)
the podzol from a 2x2 spruce tree converts moss into dirt furthermore the villagers increasing the prices is just how inflation works, for the bookshelves there really is not a way around it other than infecting them a hundred times over, where as for the iron selling you could use different methods while the inflation for it cools down, like sticks.
Wow just wow this world is by far the most impressive thing I have seen on Minecraft and it wouldn’t be possible without you Jon congratulations with your success you are awesome
Tips: -For sugar cane farms, you just get some moss blocks as an alternative blocks for your dirt instead. -Bonemeal farm, make a kelp farm then send it to the composter. -

The amount of effort you have put here is a testament to your dedication to youtube, Minecraft and content creation. As the saying goes - How you do anything is how you do everything. And to see how meticulous and resilient you are is a great joy to watch on today's yt where taking shortcuts and deceiving the audience for views has become the norm. Friend, I came across your video absolutely by accident and it's hard for me to put into words how amazed I am. I wouldn't say i'm a very impressionable person, but the scale of the work done, both in the game and with editing such a large amount of material, is simply breathtaking. I'm very glad that you've reached 100k subscribers, but after watching I'm sure that with such quality of video, you deserve more. I'll continue to follow you and wish you success. Idk if it's ur strong suit, but I would love to see you continue this series, focusing on terraforming and building. I would love to see what kind of beautiful world you could create all from a few pieces of dirt.
