I run a ronin shuto for patrol and have had problems with the UBL wobble on my draw. Been racking my brain for a solution and found this. Ordered two. Great idea!
Good execution on the product. Zip ties work just as well if you’re in a pinch. Side note, don’t film into the sun. The lighting creates a shadow on a black on black product demonstration. We can’t see shit. Thanks
Not a big deal, but black on black is very hard to see. If possible, you should use different colors with some contrast. Nice idea and execution of the product. Developing it further so you don't have to drill holes is a great upgrade.
Bought three of these and works better than my good old zip ties plus it looks a lot cleaner. Snaps in solid and are a bitch to remove. Used to use a half inch zip tie in the same location and you can't get them tight enough compared to these. Safariland has been saying for a while they're coming out with a 1.75 UBL but I wouldn't hold my breath on anything Safariland says they're going to make lol. Love their products but they're slower than fat kids running uphill.
@@rdrgear got it no worries, I bought your straight drop plate and TQ bracket over a year ago for duty use for my RDS holster and l happy, 3 foot chases in the woods of South Texas keeps on ticking great product.
And my UM belt mount has a claw in the the middle with notches for different sizes belts... Why couldn't Safariland do the same? NBD I'll just have to figure something out.
?????!!!!!!! Funny!!!- actually there is a small , tiny slit on the belt loop. Take a small zip tie or a small piece of wire , and attach it to your belt running the zip tie or wire through that small slit and problem solved. It works ! That's how I have mine set up on my duty belt.........

Glad to help, we appreciate the support.
I'm glad I found ya'll! I've been looking for a solution to this problem. I'll be buying one now!

Majority of our end users, are not really “in a pinch” kind of people. This is a permanent solution to the band aid fix of using zip ties.
That's what I said .....I run it like that . I just think that strap will cost about 15 bucks - unnecessary purchase in my opinion......
fantastic idea, about time someone did this!
Thank you! We thought the same thing.
maybe a dumb question but i have a 2” safariland ubl belt loop do you sell these for them?
thank you

I'm thinking a nut and bolt from the hardware store could do the same thing. Fancy them up some paint. Neat idea though.

I think the instructions on your first batch of these was reversed. It said step down 1 1/2” and step up 1 3/4”.
You are correct, the insert was corrected.
Man thats great, can you guys make one for 2 inch belts that would be great.
2” is l the least used UBL. The tool up cost would be tough to recoup. 2.25” is the standard

I just use 2 tie raps on each side of the gap.And the holster sits tight on my belt!😅😊😊
Sometimes dudes just want a bit more of a professional fit. I to used the zip ties like 5 years ago.
Does the adapter have a loop for a leg strap?

Because safarilands
primary customer base is LE which all use a 2.25” belt. UM is ok, but it leaves much to be desired, in quality and function. IMO
