This yt channel is so good. I work private security and I’m finally splurging for a legit duty holster with retention. Thank you so much for making these videos informative and to the point.
Hello, is this the QUBL you are talking about? www.copquest.com/safariland-qubl-qls-universal-belt-loop_23-2270.htm Is this the leg strap you are talking about? www.copquest.com/safariland-leg-strap-for-6004-6005-holster-single_23-6500.htm If so, the QUBL is not designed for the leg strap. The QUBL has slots for your belt. Hope this helps!
Thank you for the video. Could you answer a few questions please ? 1.) Can you mount the QUBL or VUBL on leg shroud, or somehow incorporate leg strap to the bottom? 2.) My buddy has the same quick detach system I have (and what you showed), but if you look at his faceplate, he has these two extra slots (for lack of better word) that ensure his QLS doesn’t fall off during a fight. The way he explained it was, if someone knew how to remove your holster by pinching the detach system, they’d have to go through another layer of protection. Do you know where to find this? 3.) Last, does the 6004-27 - SINGLE Leg shroud drop the holster *lower* then your standard QUBL? Sorry for all the questions. There are just so many possibilities and configurations!
Hey Robert- thanks for the nice comment and great questions! 1) I think I understand your question, but do you mind expanding? Based on what I'm understanding I would answer no because the QUBL and VUBL move vertically. 2) That sound like the QLS 22L which is a QLS receiver plate that releases the locking fork only if you lift and squeeze, instead of just squeezing. The angle to which you have to lift makes it hard for someone other than yourself to detach your holster. www.copquest.com/safariland-quick-locking-system-kit-quick-kit2_23-6420.htm 3) Yes the 6004-27 single leg shroud with the strap will sit lower than your standard QUBL. Hope this helps! We also have open customer lines 8AM - 4PM PST weekdays if you prefer to talk in person. (805) 388-0707. There are so many possibilities!
@@copquest You know, I originally typed this comment with more questions but then I found your other videos which helped me immensely. I really appreciate it. I will just add however that it is unfortunate that (per safariland) the QLS22*L* isn’t compatible with the QUBL or VUBL. And apparently according to them it is not compatible with the 6004 thigh rig. I’d love a system that is detachable, adjustable *and* has the extra locking feature. Looks like I’ll just be going with the standard CUBL low ride with the QLS22L, if that’s compatible?
@@JosephErik83 The QUBL is a UBL with a QLS Plate already mounted to it which is why it's not compatible. The QLS22L should be able to be directly mounted to the 6004 thigh rig as they both have the same t-pattern. Your holster will have the detachable fork and lock into the plate. Or you can attach the CUBL to your belt and do the same thing with the QLS22L plate and fork.
Great question! We went and tried it out just now for you and it looks like the mid-ride pad is the closest fit, but it still doesn't quite fit the VUBL... you may be able to stretch and modify your mid-ride pad if you wanted to - we just didn't want to damage good product. Hope this helps!
Thanks Jesse for the kind words and comment! Which options aren't on Safariland's website? Regardless, we are proud to discount our products on CopQuest.com
@@copquest I looked up both the VUBL and the QUBL and could not find them listed within the search bar. Strange. But if you have them, then i guess i would buy from you - Lol. Also, Safariland only makes certain holsters for certain guns only and not all SIGs, CZs, etc.I’m looking for a complete system for the SIG P226 mk25 and they only make for SIG P320 - which happens to be a gun that some LE agencies are dumping because of bad reviews of that pistol. I will possibly call your shop and se if I can have questioned answered.

Appreciate the comment and support Andrew! Any recommendations for future videos?
Very helpful illustration! 👍
Thank you sir.
Can you add a leg strap to the QUBL?
No, the VUBL and QUBL are not designed to work with a strap.
Finally, the video I've been waiting for.👍
Glad we could help! Thanks for watching!
Is the QUBL cantable for different ride heights?
you helped me. thank you

Can you adjust the cant with the QUBL ?
Does UBL pad works with VUBL? Should i use Low ride pad or Mid rise pad if there’s no specific size of the pad for VUBL?

Does the qubl drop it lower than the standard low ride plate?
Good question - They drop about the same
