The sound if silence! Great little ESC, lots of power and tons of low speed control ! I mean, that crawl over the pipes, just crazy! I think John might have a winner there 🤔 😉
Being also from the IT and maker world, I would and normally apply conforming liquid at the very least since it's a nice water resistant cover. But where I live or crawl there's just so much water and all that I end up covering boards with two part five minute epoxy , (plus heatshrink if you want why not) . This is both a good way of protecting against shorts and has the added advantage of holding everything together. Ok if you want to repair or change things it's going to be a bit more difficult, but not impossible because you can still pry it apart with a bit of conviction and an exacto knife , more or less .. But since you mostly drive on dry rocks it might not be so much of a big deal for you.. Anyway take care, peace ✌
If you hardwire it, like John did when showing off the upcoming piggyback system for these, you may need the AM32 (Action Manager 32 Programer) to reverse rotation of soldered directly to the motor. Most will likely wire it like you did, but just in case it comes up it’s good to know these AM32 are quad programmers so you can find them at some places that sale quads or wait and Holmes plans to eventually have some in stock
Where is it that you test your Rigs? This place looks fun as hell and im thinking I wanna build something to crawl in the backyard just like that place
@@ExocagedRC Sure you hear it all the time, but Thor is my absolute favorite build that I’ve ever seen hands down! Wonderful build and driving sir👍🏻👍🏻 and thank you for all the great content!
Have you ever thought of soaking your crawler tires in simple green and letting them sit in a bag for a few hours like the no prep guys do. I think it would be a good experiment to try
Great session Joe, that Thor is an epic build mate. How about calling that spot Thor Point? 😁 Could you please remind me what tyres are you running on Thor? Cheers 👍
I’m gonna go look but would you do some dual steering set up? With the gt5? Also would you demonstrate how to have button activated rear steer? I’ve heard that you use that option instead of switching through a four steer menu. Specifically with the gt5
It really seemed like the linear curve on that for your throttle was quite nice. Definitely something I'm going to have to check out because I have a 3000kv three brothers racing motor but I'd like to put in a crawler
Make sure you look into dropping the pinion as far as you can go, and getting a big spur gear. My last comp, I was using 1800 kva on 3s. I use an 11 /56 combo and still have all the wheel speed i would ever want and 3000 is way outside the range recommendations for themini esc he is using. Have fun man
Roll up on the scene with that BEAST! Instant street cred👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Joe! That line on the pipes was CRAZY AWESOME!!

The pipe crawl was epic. Need to call it ( Pipe line).
mine should be here tomorrow. and also grabbed a 1400kv snubnose to complement it. oh boy.
That was the coolest line I’ve ever seen😂😂😂👍🏻
Man that was wicked cool that was an MOA line right there!!!!
Thanks!
That line that you were talking about calling Thor should be called Asgard!
Your driving always impresses me.
Epic pipe line
Waiting on the mail, my mini esc should be here today!
Thor is one fine rig.
Have fun man.

did you check temps after running?
HOLY SHIT!!! Talk about hardlines.. 🤘🏼
Yep!

Got one word for that crawl WOW 👍👏

This rig is awesome! Whats radio are you using for all the function you have?
Sick rug bro, what chassis is that?
Thor is awesome

The tires are Pro-line trenchers 1.9's, Cheers.
That pipe line was insane! Hows top wheel speed with that esc?

And thanks for the content bro.
Put scx 6 swampers on Thor, im doing it with my smt10 and ryft axles
Runs good:) Same 2200kv motor?
Thor the amazing 🦍 lol. Thank's for Sharing Joe. 💯💪💯👍
badass
The pipe bridge gap was nasty.
belle performance 👍👍👍bravo
🧼 clean
Need a build breakdown on Sam
You could name this side of the pipes" monkey bars "
You need to install some web shooters or a grappling gun and change his name to Spidey!!!!
Call that new line The Spider Walk
Cliffhanger

That's a fast motor for a crawler,
